I had this idea in my head for a while. Similar to how the kids in Friday the 13th (3?) We're picking on Jamie about how her uncle was the boogeyman and was coming to get her, but Toya takes the teasing and owns it!
Another Way 3.5 Namahage
"Hello?" Natsuno answered the ringing phone, mere moments after sundown.
"Hey, Natsuno. How you doing? " Aoi answered chipperly.
Natsuno smiled, hearing his sister-in-law on the other side. "I'm alright," he replied, "What about you and Toya-Chan?"
"We're both doing just fine," Aoi answered, "Is Tohru -Niisan up yet? "
"He's up," Natsuno said, "but he's in the the shower and hasn't eaten yet, would you like me to have him call you back?"
"No, just tell him I said 'Hello'," Aoi laughed, "I'm actually calling to talk to you."
Natsuno blinked. "Really?" he asked.
"Yeah. Toya-Chan's teacher called me today. Apparently, some of her classmates had been teasing her that Namahage was going to come get her this new year."
Natsuno raised an eyebrow. "What did she say?"
Aoi started laughing, "Hold on. She's standing right here. I'll let her tell you." She passed the phone to Toya. "Here, Baby, tell Natsuno-Ojisan what you told your classmates about Namahage."
Toya took the phone. Natsuno spoke first, "What'd you say, Sweetheart?"
Toya smiled and started giggling, "I told them I wasn't afraid of Namahage, because of he came after me, you'd eat him for breakfast."
