A/N: I was initially going to post it when I Was done with 'A Piece of My Heart' but I thought, oh what the hell. Plus, I'm really bored right now and this would give me something to do AKA read all your lovely reviews!

As I told you guys before, this series is going to be a bit more dramatic so be prepared for that! But look at me three updates in three dates, that was like when I was writing 'Burlesque' and updating everyday! No promises like that for this one.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this one!

Chapter 1

Arizona Robbins did not care about anything or anyone. It all hurt and it was just a fight to get away from feeling hurt, being hurt or feeling anything really. She just wanted to switch off and that is what happened. With the endless partying that came with wrapping up high school with all the drinking and smoking, she embraced it all with whole arms. It wasn't like anyone could tell her knew she wasn't told enough to drink, but what the hell. No one cared!

There were times when she found people looking at her with pity in their eyes, that was when Arizona would yell at them. "Take a closer look! It's Tim's younger sister! Still mourning him after he passed away six months ago!" Before she took another hit of her beer, tequila, literally any bottle she was holding.

She was on a path to go to Chicago and study art, to become an artist and express herself with her work but then one not so fateful morning someone rang the Robbin's household to tell them that Timothy Robbins had passed away. That moment, even though Arizona was in her final year of college she dropped out.

There were different ways that people dealt with grief, with pain. Daniel Robbins Sr. locked himself up in his study and gave up talking. He would at the most exchange one worded answer during lunch or dinner and then go back to his study. No one knew what he was doing in there and no one could put their pain away for a minute to go check it out for themselves.

Barbara resorted to crying in secret, she would cry her pain away when no one was watching, while she prepared meals for the household or did chores around the house. She thought that no one could hear her, but little did she know that everyone did.

The middle child, Daniel Jr. or Danny, had a rather funny way of dealing with his grief, the day they found out about Tim was the day he decided to enroll in the Marines himself and the following weekend he left for his training. Danny was all set for pursuing a degree in law when his brother passed away. He wasn't sure what exactly gave him the push but he went ahead and signed up and has been away on training since.

When Danny told his family about his decision, his dad patted him on his back, muttered great and left the room. His mother hugged him tightly and broke down on him. She didn't say anything but cried as he tried to console her. These reactions were fine, he expected them, but what he didn't expect was Arizona getting mad at him and saying some really mean things to him.

He tried to explain to her that he had thought this through, but it was evident that Arizona was grieving with the loss of one brother and then when suddenly the second one said that he too wanted to serve, she lost her mind and went on a drinking spree which still continued.

Today, Danny was coming back after a year. He had told his mom about it and requested that it be a secret. But when he entered the house he couldn't help but feel unwelcomed. Arizona was out, his dad was nowhere to be seen and his mom was crying. His house was stuck in time that he had gone for training but nothing changed from the past six months.

Well at least this time, he brought home someone who would make his week long stay less morbid. It was just that he wasn't too sure what his little sister would have to say about it. That is if she ever came home.

"Captain Torres, I'm going to go to sleep." Danny said as he saluted his captain.

"Sergeant Robbins, you are home, you don't need to inform me about your whereabouts. You can go to sleep when you want to," she replied as she dismissed him.

Danny wasn't sure how but he and his Captain had gotten pretty close when he was posted. When he got to know that she had no place to go for memorial day weekend he graciously invited her over.

Captain Callie Torres was an enigma that no one could figure out. Everyone feared her but wanted to be her, but for Danny since he was raised by the colonel he was used to having an authority figure around which was how he was the only one who didn't crumble under the gaze of the strong brown eyes.

"And yet you still call me Sergeant Robbins."

"I don't know, I have always been that way, I guess." She shrugged her shoulders. "Goodnight Sergeant," she said.

"Are you sure you are comfortable in the basement? I can move to Arizona's room and you could take mine?" he offered.

"I'm good, I'm just going to check my email, respond to a few and then get to bed myself."

"I can keep you company," Danny said as he yawned.

"You are two minutes from falling asleep Sergeant Robbins, you're dismissed," the brunette said before heading towards the dining room with her laptop.

"Captain before I forget," Danny called out to her, "I'm not sure but my sister might come home in like half an hour or so."

Callie looked at her watch and it was already one am. "At this hour?"

"She might sleep over at her friend's house but sometimes she comes home, yeah."

"Okay," she replied before making her way to the dining room. She stopped in the kitchen to get herself a glass of water.

No one knew the true Captain Calliope Torres, hell they didn't even know that Calliope was her real name, they just feared her.

When she was nineteen she came out to her family as bisexual. She knew that it would be hard for them to accept her but what she didn't accept was from them to completely disown her. They wanted nothing to do with her after knowing that their catholic daughter was doing things outside of their religion. That was when Callie decided that she wanted to enlist. The only one who was supportive of her was her Abuela, her grandmother told her that as long as she remained true to herself she could love whoever she wanted to. Her parents however wanted nothing to do with her. Her Abuela put her own rosary on her. She told her that although she supported her in her decision to come out, she wasn't supportive of her decision to enlist, so the rosary would protect her when she needed protecting.

And then about a year later her Abuela passed away. Her family didn't even welcome her for the funeral as if she was banished, but Callie said her prayer from a far and left for another tour.

She worked hard and was the Captain now, yet she wasn't exactly sure what was destined for her. Yes she wanted a family and all, but she didn't want to be so vulnerable. Ever since Erica, she refused to be so vulnerable to anyone else ever again that they would end up crushing her heart.

Callie opened her laptop and went through her emails. They were always private companies trying to poach her to work for lesser hours and better pay, but she knew that she wouldn't leave the Marines for anything. The brunette liked working, being away for so long that she didn't miss home. What was home?

She ran a hand through her hair. Just about a year ago Callie had decided to chop her hair off, she had gone for a more masculine look with shaved sides with a little length on top. She needed some change in her life. It was Erica's one year death anniversary. She was a cardio-thoracic surgeon and was killed in action. She didn't even get a body, just a flag letting her know that Erica was gone. That year had been hard for her, but she survived. She persevered through and she would continue to do so.

Callie was just about done when she heard the kitchen door opening. Her first instinct was that it was a burglar, but as the person entered, she was sure that they weren't here to steal from the Robbins.

There were two girls who were making out, one blonde and another brunette. The blonde one was the one who was taking control saying some really dirty things to the brunette while she moaned. This was something that Callie had never seen. Moreover, she was not happy that the blonde -who she presumed was Arizona- was so late and that her family had given up on her.

"I assume you are Miss Robbins and you are Robbins' friend?" Callie said as she cleared her throat.

The two girls jumped apart as if they had been caught. The brunette looked shy and muttered some apology before bolting the way she came from.

"And what is your problem?" Arizona asked as she crossed her arms.

"Nothing, just didn't want to accidentally get invited to a threesome," Callie smirked. Clearly the blonde in front of her was not used to someone talking back to her.

"This is my house, I can do whatever I want, whomever I want."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah!"

Callie walked over to her and stood right in front of her. She could tell that Arizona was about 5'5 maybe 5'6 and she was easily towering over her small frame. She was used to being intimidating. It was mostly what she did at work.

"Does your guest need a ride home? I don't think you are old enough to drive," Callie said as she looked straight into the bluest eyes she had seen. Yes, Danny too had blue eyes but there was just something about Arizona's that she found herself drawing in them, and maybe just a hint of something that she couldn't recognize.

"I'm twenty-two and she doesn't need a chauffeur, she'll figure her way home."

Arizona was beyond turned on. She had never been dominated before and the literal goddess in front of her was irresistible. That tanned skin was begging her to touch her. Even with a loose full sleeve olive shirt and some sweat pants she was trying hard not to give into the temptation and take her there on the dining table. But something told her that this woman in front of her wouldn't give in as easily as the rest of them would. That she would have to try harder than bat her eyelashes and flash her dimples. Plus, she was also a little mad that she had shooed off her sex guest of the night.

Suddenly, the woman in front of her took a couple of steps back, took the glass of water that was on the table and brought it to her lips.

"Drink."

"No. Arizona wanted to play with fire, she wanted to see how far she could test her limits and what would she do, if she rebelled.

"Don't make me take you over my knee Miss Robbins." Her knees almost buckled as she imagined that scene. Arizona nodded as the woman tilted the glass towards her and took a sip, she was about to pull away when the woman interrupted her. "Be a good girl and finish it." Arizona looked into those brown eyes before downing the whole glass.

"Good girl Miss Robbins."

"Why do you call me that? I have a name you know."

Callie placed the glass in the dishwasher. She knew that her name was Arizona, but moreover she liked the effect she was having on her. Sure it felt amazing to have that effect on men who were working with her, but there was something about this woman that she just couldn't figure out.

"I know." She walked over to the laptop before shutting it and taking it in her hand.

"Wait, who are you and what are you doing in my house?"

Callie stopped in her tracks. "You are too drunk to have this conversation, why don't we wait till tomorrow for introductions Miss Robbins?" Callie said before she made her way to the basement.

"It's Arizona by the way, you can call me Arizona!"

"I know." she heard the mysterious woman shouting from the basement. "Good night Miss Robbins!"

Arizona sighed but made her way upstairs. "Who the fuck does she think she is!"

A/N: So, what do you think?
