Years have gone by since the reveal of the hidden world to humans and the subsequent combination of both worlds, as bumpy and rocky as it was. There was still disbelief among the human populace that such beings even existed before, which is acceptable. I mean, how would you feel if your entire world view was shattered and reshape into a rather sharp art statement that could poke your eye out if you got too close?

...I'm getting off topic.

As I said, the progress of full integration has been... lacking. Humans have rather narrow world views, even among their most opened minded. Basic stereotypes and expectations are still thrust upon the other species. Angels are good, demons are bad, fairies are these little tiny folk that give gifts to little children and grant wishes. Honestly, I blame Disney.

And yes, I am speaking as non-human myself, a Cupid to be exact. And no, I'm not some baby in a diaper shooting arrows into people's butts. Seriously, do you know how old that gets? My people might be associated with love but that doesn't mean we all are involved in it. I am one of the major stand outs, but that will be explained soon enough. We can start before this nightmare of a conference began.

"... Your files are all in order and should be sent soon. Hopefully I made this ordeal easier on the both of you. I wish you luck in your future." I said as hung up the phone and sighed. Another divorce settled peacefully and with good results for both parties.

Trust me, you're not the first one to be surprised. I have settled and dealt with a great amount of divorces, being the best in the field and getting an almost perfect satisfaction rating from my previous clients. Most people would expect me to push people to stay in a marriage and rekindle the flame, but that just doesn't appeal to me.

I leaned back in my chair with a sigh, looking over at the mirror set on the wall beside me, my green eyes taking in my appearance. Short pink hair that faded to black, which reminds me that I need to get my hair dyed again, a bit contrasted by my pale skin. My salmon colored dress shirt was slightly wrinkled and ruffled with my white wings poking out from behind my back, I like having my wings out, sue me, and black slacks with matching dress shoes finished my appearance.

I turned away from the mirror and looked back at all the files on my desk, when I noticed a letter that was left there. Probably the one I forgot to read when I got that sudden call. Opening the letter, I read the contents.

Dear Mr. Oowato,

As a former student of our program, we would be honored if you would be one of a select group to present at a conference to help bring all our races closer together and open our minds more for further acceptance and more opportunities for more generations to realize their potential.

If you accept, your travel and booking will all be paid for. All we ask is that you do your best with your presentation.

2. No Mary/Gary sues! Should be obvious but nobody wants to read or write a perfect character. It's boring

3. No Canon Talents! I will accept variations but I will not accept anything from Canon unless you give me a very good reason.

4. No Repeat Talents! I will not accept any Characters with a Talent from my other story. I will prove the list of Talent unavailable for use.
