I Knew I Loved You

He looked into her eyes, and saw his future, past, present. She looked into his eyes, and saw her whole life unfold before her. They looked into each other's and could see that they were meant for each other, whether they liked it our not. He could see her brutal past, and he relived her memories, even as she remembered; when she was taken from her parents, when she learned to be an assassin, her various missions, the lives she had taken, the lives she had saved or changed, her dreams of the mystery man she had come to love. She could see his hopes and fears, she experienced them herself; fear of rejection, fears for his sister, fears of the Dark Side. She saw his loves too; love for the man he called father and who the world knew as a monster, for his sister, for the mystery woman of his dreams, for his friends. When he looked into her eyes, he saw that she was the mystery woman, and vice versa. They looked into each other's eyes for what seemed an eternity. In reality, it lasted less than 5 seconds. The moment was shattered by the voice of the New Republic official kneeling in front of the alter. "I now pronounce you husband and wife," he called in a loud, clear voice. "You may now kiss the bride," he finished, addressing the couple in front of him. Luke Skywalker kissed his wife, Mara Jade, and prepared for a life of love with his soul mate.
I don't own any of the characters. I don't make money off of this story thingy. Please gimme feedback on this story/poem. I know it is mushy, but its somethin i wrote as spur of the moment.
