The cock pit of the Mobile Suit Agito Zero buzzed to life as the faint green glow of the GN Particles were replaced with the bright light and the hum of the Mobile suit as it came back to life. It's pilot slowly gripped the armrests of the Command throne and ever so slowly opened his eyes.
At first all he could see was a bright white light, it was so pierce that he thought he might have died. But no, the familiar hum of the Zero System alerted the almost dead man to the fact that he was still alive if only barely. His eyes couldn't yet see the data that he the Zero System was showing. But from the way it was updating information, it had to be something very large, in fact it had to be something so serious that he did not just drift in that state of hibernation for longer.
Cracking his aching body into place, the pilot took in a very deep breath now as he sighed and forced his eyes to adjust to the light of the cockpit. His entire body was in pain and just drawing breath was causing him to feel some sense of agony within his chest, but this helped his eyes adjust. And just as it did so, he surveyed the data before him, not to look into the future, but to get a better understand of all that had happened or rather just what had happened to him recently.
It came back to him as he looked through the data the Zero System presented to him, that final battle. The GENESIS being fired at Earth, him attempting to stop him and then nothing. He had lost consciousness and it seemed that the Mobile Suit Agito Zero had no available data on what had just happened after that. That or it was perhaps hiding what had happened from him, but that was not a simple task in of itself.
Either way, the Zero System fed him more data on what on the nearest locations to dock and get supplies and repairs. He was thankfully still in space and had not crashed through the Earth's atmosphere and was not underwater at the bottom of the ocean. He was very much alive; he could feel it thanks to the immense pain that he was feeling in his entire body.
Now as he exhaled loudly again took control of the Mobile Suit Agito Zero and ran the diagnostics check on the suit. He needed to know what was damaged beyond repair, what was working and what wasn't working at all. Which to his both delight and confusion the system detected that all systems were fully functional and operating. Not to mention the only thing missing was his Hyper Beam Saber. which had been given away to Yzak Joule above all people to finish of Rau Le Creuset.
That begged the question, why was he here and why was he alive? Yes there was a slight chance that he was meant to survive that. But he was fairly certain that his allies would not have left him floating around in space, not to mention that someone at least from any of the sides would want a piece of his suit if not the whole suit itself. So that begged the question, why was he here, for what purpose did he survive and exactly where was he?
Even the Twin Buster Rifle was working which was fully functional which did make Anthony slightly suspicious of all of this. But in response to where he was and why he was here, the Zero System beeped illuminating a screen before him. Letting Anthony know the current exact location and what it was able to calculate about the area around him.
It was very handy, it would predict outcomes of every action and in most cases just like in the show it could reveal possible futures. One a play by play scale it could reveal the outcomes of choices in battle, including ones where you die. It also won't show you the collateral damage because you'll be hyper focused on the next step. But a far more nasty thing it can do is to show you the future of many actions of yours both in and out of the Mobile Suit, just like how it Heero and Zechs many possible futures. It also takes into account human error, which made the system all the more deadly.
But doing that was a little too much strain for Anthony, he wasn't going to go and look that deep into the future or see that many futures. Well aware of his limits, Anthony Hitoro was of the opinion that if he attempted that he'd go mad, but who was to say he wasn't already mad. He did just take a giant gamma ray laser to the Mobile Suit and survive. So being sane was not a question that let hamper him right now as he activated the Zero System to predict the path ahead to show him what is going to happen.
Now as the data feed buzzed and the images flashed before Anthony's face he couldn't help but laugh cruelly at the sick joke before him. It wasn't a mad laugh but a sinister chuckle as he sees one of the many paths laid out before him and quickly shut down the Zero System from showing him anymore. Quite bitterly he remarked "Is this some sort of twisted horrid joke. No you would not play that on me. Not like this. If that really is the future ahead, then I guess my life is utterly stuffed. All that time all that effort and for what for it not to really matter or at least not to matter here at all."
He was not a professional Solider, he had been forced into that role and to pretend to be one. It had taken its toll on him, but he thought he had finally come out of it. But no if the future he had seen right before him was true, this was not to pass. There was no rest for him, no rest at all.
As his hand came into view, Anthony saw something he thought was off. Its complexion was a little grey, not to mention the rich black jacket was faded, very faded. Quickly to test if he was colour blind or not, Anthony pulled the medium sized cape attached to the jacket, over his shoulder. It was still a nice crimson though it was also faded as well just like his jacket. No he wasn't colour blind, his skin was greyer than it should be pulling up a display of his cockpit, he noticed his eyes were now a faintly glowing green colour and that his hair had also somewhat greyed from its natural redness.
Well he did pilot a freak of a Mobile Suit and it was only fitting that he looked like a freak to match it. Turning on the Zero System again though he needed to clarify why he looked like this. The Explanation the Mobile Suit Agito Zero's Zero system gave him was simple, it told him that he had suffered radiation poisoning, mixed with GN Particles poisoning, mixed with Psycho-Frame and GN Particles trying to save him, resulting in what he saw now.
The Zero System also told him he was not dying due to it, but that wasn't something that comforted anything in this regard. Not to mention none of what it told him would make any sense to anyone, except perhaps a mad man like Rau. But then again Aliens being the reason Gunpla got so popular, along with dimensional travel was also farfetched but Anthony had seen both, as crazy as it was.
Chuckling now though with more mirth he stated to no one but himself "I guess I am Gundam, oh well I better plot a course and figure out just where I can go and what I am going to do." The Mobile Suit Agito Zero beeped and was starting to show its pilot where they were going to go, but Anthony cut it off commanding it "No Agito Zero. I don't want you to tell me I want to do it myself."
Like Anthony, Mobile Suit Agito Zero did voice its opinion even when it was not asked to. It showed him two possible paths that were open to him. Going to Armory One and assisting ZAFT when operation Grand Theft Gundam occurs. Or going to Junius Seven and stopping the Patrick Zala Loyalists from dropping the destroyed PLANT onto the Earth that would spark the Second Bloody Valentine War.
The Zero System also informed Anthony that he was no way in any state of mind ready to just have a chat with ZAFT given his history with them, being in an alternate timeline or not. Also it would not be like the Archangel where they could not turn down his help. So yeah the option was pretty clear even though it would only put off when and why the Second Bloody Valentine war would start, but the path ahead for Anthony was clear, to go and destroy the ZAFT forces at Junius Seven. Or rather to destroy the Patrick Zala Loyalists at Junius Seven, he did owe them for getting his by the GENESIS after all.

Commander Yzak Joule just received a report from His Chief Communications Officer about a message from a Forward Listening Post. Apparently, they had detected a Mobile Suit Signature that was unidentifiable but clearly was designated as a friendly. Not only that it appeared out of no where and was able to move at great speed and from what the Forward Listening Post, but the only thing on its projected path was also Junius Seven, which was not something they could ignore, the direct reason why he was told about this.
Yzak looked at his second in command Dearka Elsman and scowling said "I'm not sure what to make of this report, I'm suspicious of it. They were unable to identify the Mobile Suit, but it registered as a friendly on our systems. I don't like how this report reads and I don't like the implications of it."
Dearka being more level headed than his commander instead suggested "It might be a much older suit that the crew just weren't able to identify before sending off this message. I would say though that whatever the suit is, the real question I'd be asking is why its going to Junius Seven of all places?"
It was true, Junius Seven was a place is a graveyard that no one wants to go to or if they did. It was either to honour the memory of those there or for something nefarious. Given what both men had been through in the previous war, they both would assume the latter over the former. Giving a nod Yzak said "While we don't have any specific orders, I believe it is in our best interest and those of the PLANTS to investigate what is going on if anything is going at all."
Dearka gave a nod in agreement stating "Yes, it might be nothing, but it also might be something. Given that it's Junius Seven, any something is going to be a big something. Though I am unsure if this is just going to be routine mission or should we suspect something more sinister."
Both men knew the saying better be safe than sorry and both men had much to be sorry for. There were plenty of names they could mention, what's more the situation had changed. Yzak was now in command and was responsible for the lives of those under him. This was not going to be like before, one wrong call and he could cost everyone onboard the two ships under him.
But while their decision was made, Yzak took another look at the speeds that the Forward Listen Post had given for the unidentified Mobile Suit. They weren't exactly believable because even if a Mobile Suit could reach such speeds so quickly maintaining it would be another story entirely. As a pilot wanted to ask just exactly how a Mobile Suit like that appear out of nowhere, not only that just what type of energy was it using to move and maintain such speeds. More importantly, just how would it fare in combat given that it can reach such speeds, what else could it do?
Is it some type of scouting Mobile Suit, if so, what is it scouting? Or was it some type of new secret super Mobile Suit that no one was supposed to know of? If it was the latter, then the question of who it belongs to also is raised and just how many more of them are there. Not to mention as a Commander Yzak was concerned more that it arrived out of nowhere and seemed to be marked as a friendly despite it not having a registered signature.
Yzak Joule was not a fan of mysteries, especially if they involved secret mobile suits. He had his fill of secret Mobile Suits and Secret Mobile Suit bases and operations for a life time. Dearka picked up on this and said "No point stewing over what it is until we get to it. We might be going in blind, but its better than going in terrified and blind. We'll be fine Yzak, I mean commander Yzak Joule, don't look too much into it."

Anthony had not used Trans-Am or NT-D Mode to get to Junius Seven so it took longer than it would have if he had used them. But he had got here and from what he could see the Operation Break the World was still in the preparation phase. The final part of the preparation phase but still in it all the same. The ruins of the PLANT left an ominous feeling when he arrived, so many people had their lives snuffed out in an instant while others died in a variety of ways.
There was a certain weight that he felt upon entering this place, fear, anger and hatred. But he shook that off as best he could now as the Zero System pinged on a display screen or rather predict the locations of the Patrick Zala loyalists. They were quite spread out, so it was not going to be a simple fight where he could take them all out quickly.
No this would be a search and destroy mission and Anthony knew it was going to take time and while he did have plenty of time before Junius Seven would be sent plummeting towards Earth. He knew better than to leave it to chance that they would be able to speed up the task or at least start it if only at half capacity if they could. Of course, he could always just destroy Junius Seven, but that would leave a lot of people in the PLANTs baying for blood. And Anthony was not going to be responsible for an escalation of tensions once more if he could avoid it.
So far, the Mobile Suit Agito Zero System told Anthony that he was yet to be detected by the Coordinator Terrorist. This was in part thanks to the GN Drive and the Minovsky particles from the Psycho-frame which would be disrupting their ability to detect him. That said he had purposefully tipped off ZAFT on his way here, just to see if they would follow him or simply let him have a free hand.
Anthony also did not needs the Zero System to tell him his best approach was to disrupt or rather start to cause the Zala Loyalists to have communication errors. The GN Particles and Minovsky particles could assist with that, a part of him wanted to go in all guns blazing but he knew better than to do that. Instead, he opted to increase the GN Particles that his suit was putting out. That way they'd be having issues communicating with one another, at first it would be minor, but it would subtly grow and grow and grow. To the point where it was a major hazard from being a minor nuisance.
Then with his foes being caught up in what was going on with their lines of communication, he would strike the outliers from the group. Yes, it was a very convoluted, but it was one that Agito Zero had showed to him, but as long as it worked, it worked. So now as he waited for the Junius Seven to once more become a battleground, Anthony had to remark to himself "It is a bit odd, I don't think a year ago I would be here doing this. But hear I am getting ready to kill these people not characters and I don't even feel bad about it? Yes without a doubt there is something seriously wrong with me, do you know Agito Zero?"
Of course, the Mobile Suit Agito Zero had an answer to him, flickering an image before him of all those in the Three Ship Alliance or at least the version he had been a part of. Yes they weren't characters, they were people and he had made that connections a long time ago. Which meant even if they weren't here, even if they would never learn of this event. If he simply sat by, wouldn't that be the same thing as betraying them, when he had the power to help but didn't?
The irony of it was not lost on Anthony Hitoro now as he gave soft chuck and let a tear roll down his eye as he said humorously a recalled a line from another series of Gundam that he knew very well "I guess you can say History is like an Endless Waltz after all eh? Who knew that little girl would be so right and who knew that I'd just get out of one to leap back into another."
Shaking off that thought Anthony looked once more and saw that it was time to get read and he said "Very well, Agito Zero commencing maneuvers!"

Among the ZAFT Deserters, the Zala Loyalists as they called themselves, the man named Sato was their De facto leader. All had been going as planned, but for some reason their communications were starting to get jumbled. Their goal, their mission was so close and now they started to have issues. At first the line just became a tiny bit crackly at the end, then it became a little more and a little more until the line itself became filled with static noise.
Now if someone wasn't nearby there was only static on the line at all and their visual feed from their all, but their Mobile Suits was jumbled. What's more the Mobile Suit Locators where they knew their comrades were started to get fuzzy before the ones furthest away from him vanished. It should be nothing, no one should know they are hear, he had someone in ZAFT to make sure of that. But Sato could not help the lingering feeling of dread that was building up.
His anger was strong enough to keep it at bay for a time, but as he saw more of the Mobile Suits go fuzzy and vanish on his display. He got a sinking feeling in his stomach that something was wrong, so sending more code through his Mobile Suit GINN Camera. He signalled to those around him to be on guard, while his mind told him that all was fine, his military experience told him that disrupting communications is the first step when an enemy is going to invade.
All those there with him got ready and started to take measures to either speed up the tasks or start to make and secure a perimeter. Then the Static noise stopped, and he immediately contacted one of the sentries saying "Report your position and your actions, what's going over there!"
The voice that replied was filled with relief saying "Oh damn those Natural, there's a suit here that's picking us off one by one. It must be the one disrupting the communications. I don't know how many we have lost, but I've got three other suits with me right now and we've got this suit in our sights and are moving to enga-!"
Now Sato was a Coordinator and unlike some Naturals who would not have picked up on that. He did managed the catch the sound of a beam saber cutting through a Mobile Suit right before that connection was terminated. Whatever that suit was, it was fast, and it had at least killed four if not six of them. Seeing as how the communications were back up, Sato barked orders at his fellow Zala Loyalists stating "We're under attack, combat teams respond to this locations, everyone else double your efforts Junius Seven will fall today, we'll make sure of it!"
But suddenly over their own communication lines a very sinister and unfamiliar laugh could be heard. It boiled the blood of every Coordinator present as it mocked them promising "Greetings and Salutations Zala Loyalists, today is the day you almost succeed in dropping Junius Seven. I'd like to welcome all of you to the end of your lives and I promise it's going to hurt!"
That was enough to make them all bay for blood, all of them to be ready to fight, but the sudden sound of explosions in quick succession let them know that the battle was already underway. Who was this person, was he a Coordinator or was he a Natural scum? Whatever he was, did not matter to Sato, he just had to be taken down, but the static noises now resumed with a vengeance over their comms and Sato suddenly realized that this man who had spoken. While the voice was not the same, the tone and the delivery was unnervingly similar to Commander Rau Le Creuset.

Commander Joule and the Joule Team had arrived near Junius Seven, it wasn't far for them, so it wasn't a long journey. His Communications Officer now informed him "Commander Joule, our scans of Junius Seven are being disrupted. It is not like they are falling short more along the lines of they are being shrouded and actively disrupted. Something is going on down there and someone doesn't want us to see it."
It was as Yzak had feared, there was something untoward going on at Junius Seven and looking at his Command deck he stated "Send a message back to the Homeland, there's an incident at Junius Seven, possibly of a military nature. We're currently going to investigate this and find out exactly who and what is doing this and why."
His Officers gave him a salute before running to their stations and Yzak commanded Dearka "Prepare to sortie with the Mobile Suits. Make sure all units are equipped for Mobile Suit Combat" then turning to the Command Crew he ordered the entire ship and his second ship over the intercom "Ready anti Mobile Suit measures and all hands to battle Station, this is Commander Joule speaking and this is not a drill."
Dearka gave Yzak a salute before stating "Whatever is going on around and in Junius Seven, I'm not certain there will be any going back once we find out what is going on?"
Yzak looking at his old friend stated "Then we'll just have to be ready to deal with it and solve any issue that has arisen there. It is going to be dangerous down there, make sure you have line of sight on your team. If our scans are being blocked, I suspect that our communications will be as well, though right now I suspect that we're out of its area of effect."
That made perfect sense to Dearka who attempted to alleviate the mood stating "Well if worse comes to worse, I think we might be dealing with some super prototype Mobile Suit or something. Dibbs on testing it out if we managed to salvage it."
Yzak did not find the humour in that statement and just growled "Get to your damn Mobile Suit and launch Dearka."
"Hey, hey just trying to lighten up the mood, if combat breaks out its going to be depressing if Junius Seven gets more damaged." Both Dearka and Yzak knew that and the former then added onto it saying "I'm not sure what's going on, but no matter what is going on, I personally feel sick thinking someone would defile this place. I wonder if that Suit came here to fight us or did it come here and begin to fight someone who was here already?"
Both options were upsetting as it should be Junius Seven was a place of a terrible crime, a tragedy for the PLANTs. It stood as a reminder of that terrible day and the war that followed it, the First Bloody Valentine War. Only the most twisted and perverse of minds could think it a good place to start another war. Yzak knew this but instead refrained from commenting on it stating "I am not sure what to make of this situation, have we been lured here as part of a sick joke or was it alerting us to something nefarious going on here."
None in team Joule knew just how soon the truth would be revealed to them.
