Phase two has started!

I want to thank everyone for waiting. I apologize for taking so long, I wanted to finish up this chapter before this month was done.

I can't believe I'm starting on my 7th fanfic, thank you to everyone who has liked and enjoyed my fanfics so far.

This fanfic is gonna be in the third person point of view, a little easier to read, I find.

Flash-Forward: Garbage / Workshop

Dipper's voice says, "We create our demons." (Slow Motion) Dipper's Iron Man suits on display are exploding, one by one, destroyed. Dipper's voice continues, "Who said that? What does that even mean? It doesn't matter. I said it because he said it. So now he was famous, and two well-known guys say that. I don't, uh... I'm going to start again. Let's track this from the beginning."

Flashback: 1999, Berns, Switzerland

New Year's Eve Party

Song: I'm blue

Artist: Eiffel 65

A woman named Trixie Tang blows a party horn at Dipper's face playfully, making him smile a chuckle. Soos Ramirez, with long hair and a goatee, is standing beside Mabel Pines, who's doodling in her notebook, sitting on the counter, glancing at her watch every so often, feeling wholly bored and doesn't want to be at a party but had to because Dipper is there and it's New Year's Eve.

Soos watches Mabel like a hawk while Dipper's distracted. He turns around as he's behind Trixie and tells them, "Half an hour till the ball drops."

Dipper then asks Trixie, "Hey, do you want-" He gets interrupted by a random person on his right.

A party guest walks up to Dipper and Trixie, "Dipper Pines, great speech, man!" Soos immediately moves the man away from Dipper.

Soos says as he moves the man away, "I got you, pal."

Dipper turns, confused as he has been drinking for a while, "I gave you a speech? How was it?"

Soos answers, "Edifying."

Trixie gives her opinion while holding Dipper's hand, "Unintelligible."

Dipper asks Trixie with a smirk, "Really?"

Trixie hums in agreement, "Mm-hmm."

Dipper held Trixie's hand, "It's my favorite kind, a winning combo." Dipper, Trixie, and Soos walk away, leaving Mabel behind as she's focused on her artwork.

Trixie looks around, also a little drunk, "Where are we going?"

Dipper answers as he looks at Trixie, "Uh... to town in each other, probably back in your room. Cause I also wanna see your research."

Trixie narrows her eyes and tells Dipper, "Okay, you can see my research, but that's... I'm not going to show you my 'town'."

Soos stops them suddenly and asks Dipper pointedly, "Forgetting someone?" Soos gestures behind Dipper with his eyes.

Dipper looks confused before he remembers, "Oh." He turns around and looks at Mabel, "Mabel!" Mabel looks up after faintly hearing her name being called and sees Dipper and Soos motioning her to them. She sighs, annoyed, closes her book, holds it, and jumps off the counter and fast-walks towards them, bumping into a few people before reaching them, and Dipper gives her a little lecture, "Mabel, hurry. Don't fall behind. I told you to stay by Soos at all times."

Mabel replies, annoyed, "Okay." She grabs Soos's hand in her free hand as they continue walking away before a man intercepts them.

Blendin Blandin (From Iron Dipper) saved Dipper's life and helped him escape Afghanistan by helping build the very first Iron Man suit in the cave. He walks up to Dipper, "Mr. Pines, Blendin Blandin."

Dipper and Blendin shake hands, "Oh, I finally meet a man called 'Blendin'." Blendin chuckles humorlessly. Dipper turns to Trixie and says, "Come here." He grabs her hand again and pulls her close.

Blendin leads Dipper to another man, "I would like to introduce you to our guest, Dr. Tad Strange."

Dipper looks at Dr. Tad, "Oh, this guy."

Dr. Tad says as she looks at Dipper, "Mr. Pines."

Dipper greets, "Hey." He and Dr. Tad shake hands as Tad greets him in Mandarin.

Dipper tells Dr. Tad, "You're a heart doctor." He says as he refers to Trixie, "She's going to need a cardiologist after I..." He blows on his party horn a few times, saying that he's going to have sex with her. Dr. Tad sighs and looks away awkwardly. Dipper turns and continues blowing on his party horn as he walks away with Trixie.

Trixie smiles politely and says to Dr. Tad and Blendin, "Bye."

Blendin looks after them with a bit of hope, "Perhaps another time." Mabel smiles politely at Blendin, who smiles a little back before Soos gently pulls her away.

Hallway

As Dipper, Trixie, and Mabel, who are in front of Dipper, are walking as Soos leads them while holding his arms out, making sure people are keeping their distance, Dipper's voice says, "It started in Berns, Switzerland, 1999, the old days." A group of ladies and reporters followed behind them, "I never thought they'd come back to bite me."

A man calls out, "Dipper Pines!"

Dipper's voice says, "Why would they?" As Dipper, Trixie, Mabel, and Soos walk towards the elevator, an enthusiastic man with long yellow hair and a cane comes up.

The group of ladies walks inside the elevator as Dipper, whose arm is around Trixie's waist, keeps her close as Mabel stands in front of Soos with his hand protectively on her shoulder, waiting for their turn.

The man walks up to them, amazed to see Dipper, "Oh, wow! Hey, Dipper!" Dipper, Trixie, and Mabel look at him, and he introduces himself, "Bill Cipher." He stutters a bit and says to Trixie, "I'm a big fan of your work!"

Trixie smiles as she questions, "My work?"

Dipper interrupts, "Who isn't? He means me." He looks and makes sure Mabel stays close and pulls a protective arm around her shoulder.

Bill Cipher smiles as he stutters, "Well, of course, but, Miss Tang, my organization has been tracking your research since year two of MIT." Dipper, Mabel, Trixie, and Soos walk into the elevator as Trixie listens to Bill with curious narrow eyes.

Dipper tells Bill, "Yeah, we're full." Soos puts his arm out to stop Bill from entering, but he ducks under Soos's arm and moves into the elevator. Dipper says with fake enthusiasm, "Oh, wow. The man made it. He made the cut." He pulls Mabel closer, knowing she's uncomfortable with big crowds and a little creeped out by the guy as she keeps looking at him funny.

Inside: Elevator

Soos sighs and presses the floor button, "What floor are you going to, pal?" He's glares down at Bill as he stands in front of him, ensuring he's away from the Pines siblings.

Bill tells Soos enthusiastically, "Oh, that is an appropriate question. The ground floor. I've got a proposal I'm putting together with myself. It's a privately funded think tank called Advanced Idea Mechanics." He takes out two business cards and holds them towards Dipper and Trixie.

Dipper looks at the cards, uncomfortable as he doesn't like when people hand things to him, and he nods to Trixie, "Uh... she'll take both."

Trixie smiles awkwardly, "Okay." She takes the cards from Bill.

Dipper says truthfully, "One to throw away and one to not call." Trixie rolls her eyes at Dipper. Mabel sneakily glances at the cards curiously as Dipper pulls Mabel closer to him, almost hugging her.

Bill explains, "'Advanced Idea Mechanics' or 'AIM' for short." He points to the logo on his t-shirt, "Do you get it?" He asks enthusiastically and happily.

Dipper smiles with fake enthusiasm, "I see that cause it's on your t-shirt."

Bill looks up happily, "Aw!"

Mabel turns to Dipper entirely as his arm is around her, and he looks at her when she whispers into Dipper's ear, "This guy's weird."

Dipper whispers back, "I know." He stands up straight as if nobody heard them. The elevator binged.

Elevator / Hallway

Dipper says to the party of women in the elevator, referring to Soos as they walk out, "Ladies, follow the mullet." Soos smiles as he walks with a bunch of balloons in his right hand while holding Mabel's hand in the other.

Trixie says to Bill as she walks out of the elevator, "Thank you, I'll call you." She looks at the cards curiously.

As everyone walks out of the elevator, Dipper stops Bill from getting out by putting his arm in front of him. When it's empty, Dipper turns to Bill and says with a straight face, "I'm titillated by working with you."

Bill looks at Dipper, hopeful, "Yeah?"

Dipper tells Bill, "I'll ditch these clowns. I'll see you up on the roof in five minutes." Dipper presses the elevator button as he steps out of the elevator, "Just going to try to get my beak wet real quick. You know what I'm talking about?"

Bill says as the elevator door closes, "Okay. I'll see you up there."

Dipper says nonchalantly, "Damn, betcha." He walks away.

Inside: Trixie's Hotel Room

Dipper looks over Trixie's shoulder, "Come on! I thought that was just a theory."

Trixie's sitting and typing on her computer, "Well, it was. If I'm right, we can access the area of the brain that governs repair-" Trixie shows Dipper on her computer monitor a brain graph.

Dipper comments in disbelief, "Wow."

Trixie finishes explaining, "-And chemically recode it."

Dipper says, "That's incredible." He motions for Mabel to walk over to them as she sits on a chair nearby, "Mabel, come over here and see this." She sighs and reluctantly walks over to them, glancing at her watch before looking at the screen.

Mabel's bored face turns into a curious one, "Woah." Trixie smiles at Mabel's fantastic look.

Trixie asks Mabel, "Interesting, uh?" Mabel nods as she calculates and reads the pattern on the screen.

Mabel states curiously, "But essentially, you're hacking into the genetic operating system..." She looks at Trixie in confirmation.

Trixie repeats as she nods, "Operating system..."

Mabel finishes, "...of a living organism."

Trixie nods proudly that Mabel got it right, "Exactly. Yes."

Mabel states, "Wow." Dipper looks at his sister proudly, and behind them, Soos touches Trixie's plant.

Trixie sees Soos and points at him, "Can you..."

Soos asks like he wasn't just touching the plant, "What?"

Trixie tells Soos, "Can you not touch my plant? It's not... she doesn't like it. She prefers..." She gets cut off.

Dipper tells Soos, referring to the plant, "She's not like the others." He then says to Trixie, "Come on. Let's go into the bedroom." He grabs Trixie's laptop. Mabel sighs knowingly and heads back to her chair in the corner away from the plant and bedroom.

Trixie stands up and mutters, "That's cute, but..."

Dipper says loudly, "Soos, leave her ficus alone." He walks towards the bedroom as he carries the laptop, and Trixie follows but then turns to Soos.

Trixie points at Soos and says thoughtfully, "Because... And no, seriously, don't." She walks into the bedroom.

Dipper's voice says from the bedroom, "So you're starting with plants?"

Trixie's voice answers from the bedroom, "For now, yeah. I'm calling it Extremis." As they talk, Soos turns and carelessly touches Trixie's plant and pulls some leaves off, Mabel not noticing, and goes back to her doodles and glances at her watch for midnight.

Inside: Bedroom

Dipper and Trixie continue discussing about her research in the bedroom as they sit on the bed. Trixie said, "Well, it's... human application."

Dipper repeated the same time Trixie spoke, "Human application."

Trixie smiles, "Exactly! Exactly. Dendritic revitalization."

Outside: Bedroom

Dipper's voice says from the bedroom, "It's revolutionary." The plant slowly regenerates where Soos had ripped off the leaf and stem.

Trixie's voice continues, "Disease prevention..."

Dipper's voice comments, "It can change the world."

Trixie's voice finishes, "...Even limb regrowth."

Inside: Bedroom

Dipper looks at Trixie for a moment, then says, "You're the most gifted woman I've ever met."

Trixie says, shocked and sarcastically, "Wow!" She nods in disbelief.

Dipper looks down and mutters, "Uh... in Switzerland."

Trixie smiles knowingly, "Mm, that's better." Trixie removes Dipper's glasses, "Aw, you're seeing things."

Dipper mutters, "This week." He then chuckles and looks at Trixie, "You almost bought it, didn't you?" Trixie puts it on and wears Dipper's glasses as she smiles at him. He stares at her for a moment before they kiss. Soos closes the bedroom door when suddenly they are interrupted by the plant exploding, and Mabel screams in shock.

Dipper and Trixie break apart in confusion before Trixie explains, "This is what I'm talking about, the glitch."

Dipper completely forgot about Mabel's scream as he asked, "Have you checked the telomeres algorithm?"

Trixie asks out loud, "The what?" Suddenly, Soos runs into the room with Mabel on his left shoulder and tackles Mabel and Dipper onto the bed to ensure they're okay.

Mabel breathes heavily in shock as Soos tells them, "Down! Stay down! Stay down, boss."

Dipper is entirely calm, "Mabel, you good?"

Mabel swallows before answering as she calms down, "Yeah."

Dipper tells Soos, "We're good."

Soos whispers in the sibling's ears as they are all uncomfortably against each other, "Stay down."

Dipper says uncomfortably, "You... You're... you're right on us. We made it." Soos looks up and around and gets off of Mabel and Dipper.

Mabel sits up and asks as she narrows her eyes at Soos, "What the hell was that?"

Soos moves his hair from his face and asks Trixie-like he didn't just tackle Dipper and Mabel down 30 seconds ago, "What was that?"

Trixie answers, "It's a glitch in my work. It's..." People outside count down.

Dipper interrupts and tells Soos, "She was just talking about it. Glitches happen."

Soos asks in reassurance, "It's not Y2K?"

Mabel's still sitting at the side of the bed beside Dipper, who's still lying down, says to Soos, "No." Dipper then hears people celebrating outside.

Dipper says happily, "Hey! Happy New Year!"

Soos responds, "Happy New Year."

Mabel tells them, smiling, "Happy New Year."

Trixie repeats, "Happy New Year."

Dipper points at Soos, "All right, I'll see you in the morning." Dipper shakes hands with Soos and hugs Mabel before she stands up.

Soos asks Dipper, "You good?"

Dipper tells Soos reassuringly, "Yep."

Soos points to the door as he motions for Mabel to leave first, saying, "I'll be right outside. After I take her to bed."

Mabel says, a little embarrassed to Trixie, "Not to tuck me into bed, cause I'm too old for that now..." Trixie smiles in amusement and understanding.

Dipper says enthusiastically, happy that he doesn't have to do that anymore, "Yeah, she can do it. She's a big girl now. Night Mabel."

Mabel says to Dipper and Trixie, "Night." She waves tiredly are them.

Trixie smiles and says back, "Night." Soos leads Mabel out of the room and tells Dipper that he'll be outside.

Dipper says to Soos, "Okay. Cool." Soos leaves the room as people continue to cheer outside.

Outside: Bedroom

The area where the plant was is wholly ruined and destroyed.

Inside / Outside: Building

The people celebrated inside, where Dipper, Trixie, Mabel, and Soos were before.

On the roof, Bill is on top of the building, waiting for Dipper, who never shows.

Dipper's voice says, "So why am I telling you this?"

Next Morning: Trixie's Bedroom

Dipper's voice says, "Because I had just created demons, and I didn't even know it." Dipper writes a note, 'You know who I am'. He kisses it, leaves it on the bedside table for Trixie, and grabs his sunglasses. He shakes off her hair clip before leaving. Trixie with just her bra and panties and a towel around her lap. She's sitting at her desk doing work and hears the door close. She turns her head at the sound. Dipper's voice says, "Yeah, those were good times. Then I moved on."

Inside: Dipper's and Mabel's Conjoined Hotel Room

Dipper's voice says, "After a brief soiree in an Afghan cave, I said goodbye to the party scene." Dipper opens the door and sees Mabel eating breakfast from room service as she reads a book. She looks up and smiles at him as he walks up to her and leans down to kiss her on the head before sitting down himself to eat breakfast, "Forgot that night in Switzerland. These days I'm a changed man. I'm different now. I'm well... you know who I am."
