Hey guys! So I'll keep it short, just going to say it's my first time putting up anything here, so I'd really appreciate any feedback you guys have regarding what I can do to improve! That's all I have to say for now, so I hope you enjoy!

When it comes to interaction between pantheons, there are a few rules that must be followed. One of those rules is that you don't encroach on another Diety's territory without direct permission. Posiedon never really liked rules anyways. Besides, the Shinto had faded a few years ago, shortly after the Egyptians, and the Hindu gods. The Asgardians were doing rather well for themselves, better than his family at least. As much as Zeus wanted to ignore the fact, Olympus was dying. Slowly, to be sure, but Poseidon had accepted that he and his family were not long for the mortal realm.

The emergence of 'quirks' and mortal heroes was disastrous for the divine realms. For the first time in history, mere mortals had obtained power that, left unchecked, could prove a threat to gods. The growth of this power with each generation further cemented this fear, as did the slow but sure fading of pantheons around the world.

It was this acceptance that brought the God of the seas to Japan, more specifically the coastal City of Mustafu. He was tired, tired of his idiot brother refusing to accept the truth, tired of the constant bickering between the gods, and tired of feeling powerless to stop it all. He sat down on the beach, watching as his domain began to reflect his deteriorating mood, with the water slowly darkening and growing rougher.

Sally Jackson was conflicted. On one hand, the death of her Uncle had left her unshackled for the first time in as long as she could remember, and a thus far unknown to her life insurance policy had left her rather well off, ensuring she wouldn't need to be getting a job for at least a few years. She was free.

On the other hand, what kind of person would be happy about the death of their last remaining family member? She wasn't close with her uncle, not by most people's standards, but the man had still taken her in when she needed it most. He hadn't been affectionate, but he hadn't been abusive either. He was content to keep her fed, watered, and educated, none of which he had to do, but nonetheless chose to.

Sally had been traveling for the last several months, roaming about rather aimlessly, trying to make sense of her new place in the world. She had ended up in Japan, where she was getting by rather well, due to her knowing how to speak the language from an old pen-pal she had had for several years. She liked the City of Mustafu. It was rather calm, save for the damn heroes and villains flying all over the place, but that was anywhere in the world at this point.

That day, she decided to visit the beach. She had always adored the ocean and was planning to visit the beach on Mustafu for quite some time now. As she approached the quiet, sandy shoreline, she saw a dark-haired man seated on the sand, looking rather exhausted, and seemingly lost in thought. As Sally walked past him, his head shot up, and she saw the most beautiful pair of eyes she had ever seen, a perfect reflection of the sea beside her. The man's eyes widened, as he spoke.

"Oh I'm sorry miss, I didn't see you there. My name is Posiedeon. It's a pleasure to meet you"

Right, so this is pretty much just a prologue, but I hope ya'll got an idea of how I write, and I hope you'll enjoy where the story goes from here on in

One last thing I'd like to mention is, if you like PJO or MHA fics, or a plethora of other factors, I'd encourage you to check out the Emerald Library on Discord! They have a huge group of authors, almost all of whom put my own limited abilities to shame, writing fics relating to PJO,MHA, Harry Potter, and many more sprinkled in. If that sounds like your speed, head on over and come say hi!
