Vanessa and Gregory's House – Hurricane Suburbs - Living Room

Vanessa had a long night last night, given it was her first time out to the PizzaPlex's dance night. She had a blast partying with the Glamrocks, while sipping some adult beverages with them. She stayed the night there at Gregory's room at the PizzaPlex, then came home in the morning.

The animatronics Sun, Fifi Mouse and Cassidy Chicken who had been watching Gregory for her, stayed the night at her home as well until she would return in the morning. Once she was back, they woke up, and Cassidy had made breakfast for everyone, then she, Sun and Fifi left to go back to the PizzaPlex for a Zoom meeting with the Fazbear marketing team who were working from home today, Freddy and the others before their Saturday day shifts would start.

Vanessa took the day to mostly relax, she hadn't danced and had drinks like that in a very long time. Who knew the Glamrocks could do this all night every Friday night at the PizzaPlex? Then again they are advanced robots who never physically get tired and alcohol doesn't affect them as such.

She and Gregory mostly hanged around the house all day today.

She didn't have anywhere to go so she was wearing her usual black shorts, and a t-shirt around the house while wearing flip flops.

Gregory staying in his Glamrock Freddy t-shirt and black shorts.

She made lunch for them both. She took the selfies she had of herself and the glamrocks last night, and was busy downloading the photos off her iPhone then touching them up on her computer to print them and frame them.

She got back into baking again, with Gregory helping her in the kitchen make brownies.

After working on some crafts projects making the frames, she sat with Gregory, and played a couple of video games with him. Vanessa, given her previous background in game development, did enjoy video games, but hadn't touched one since the VR incident so long ago. Getting to sit down with her son to play Minecraft, brought back the joy video games once gave her before the incident. And having her adopted son by her side, made it all the more enjoyable.

They were in her living room, Gregory on his new gaming laptop, and Vanessa on her business laptop that was powerful enough to run Minecraft.

"Mom, you just destroyed that wall I built for our house. Watch what your doing with that pickaxe!" Gregory said.

"Whoops sorry Greggy, I'm not as good as I used to be in this game. I have to learn everything all over again, I hadn't played Minecraft since I was seventeen. Give a girl a break." Vanessa said laughing.

"It's fine mom. I'll rebuild it." Gregory said laughing.

30 minutes into the session and the game was coming back to her as if it was instinct.

"Gregory I'll get rid of those zombies. Just keep working on spawn proofing our base." Vanessa said.

"Got it mom." Gregory said.

The young blonde and her son were growing even closer through the experience.

"I didn't know you actually liked video games mom." Gregory said.

"Well if you recall I used to work in Fazbear's gaming division through a partnership with the former Silver Parasol…I love video games, but I hadn't touched a video game since the incident with the VR game and my grandfather because well, that sort of thing stays with you. But, thanks to you Greggy, I'm learning to love this again." Vanessa said smiling at the boy.

"I'm just happy that your happy mom." Gregory said.

The comment made her heart melt.

They finished up their game.

7:00 PM

It was a quiet night in Vanessa's home.

Saturdays when Vanessa was not working, was the designated movie night for her and her adopted son, Gregory.

She got popcorn ready for herself and Gregory, putting extra butter on his, low fat, since he loves butter.

Tonight's movie, was actually a horror movie. Nightmare On Elm Street, a classic. Normally she wouldn't let him see movie's like this, but he practically begged her to let him see it. And she figured with what the boy has seen in his life, a little bit of blood and guts wouldn't faze him, given his reactions to most of the things they have both dealt with in real life, and she was right, he loved the movie.

After that was a light-hearted comedy, Ms. Doubtfire. This was Vanessa's choice, and she wanted Gregory to learn of the comedic genius that is Robin Williams. Someone his generation would never learn about unless their parents knew of them. Vanessa was lucky enough her father used to show her these old films.

At the end of the night both were tired, but neither got up off the couch. Vanessa nodded out, her son, the boy that saved her life, in her arms.

Both were happy to have each other. A smile on both their faces as they slept.
