Prologue: Sweet Dreams

"Huh, these bots are not impressive. Shame," the cloaked figure draws out staff to create a barrier of energy to block the incoming laser bolts. "Get out of my way," the barrier converts into a single point unleashing a large beam of energy demolishing the Badnik army. The Deadly Six smash and blast the remaining forces.
"The intruder is moving through the guards, preparing base lockdown," the Egg Pawn activates the entire base into Lockdown mode as the hallways are airtight with security blast doors and Laser barriers.
"Child's Play," the figure steps into the shadows as the Doctor cannot see the guy on the cameras anymore.
"What the hell?" Where is the intruder?" Eggman pondered.
"The subject can use magic and it's very potent with this," the Egg Pawn said as suddenly the room starts shaking violently.
"What is the name of…" before Eggman can finish several spears of rock magically appear from the floor impaling all of Robotnik's guards.
"Good Evening, Robotnik," the cloaked figure appears out of the shadows as the doctor is surprised by this. The other six figures surrounded her to protect their mistress.
"Who are you?" Eggman said as the person wields her staff for energy to emit from it. Robotnik is nailed to the floor as he looks down seeing his feet encased in green crystal. Robotnik is now in a state of panic.
"Robotnik, I am Witchcraft the powerful witch in all of Mobius and I need that artifact you have here," the figure said as the crystals start slowly creeping up the doctor's body with each passing second.
"What are you talking about?" Robotnik gets annoyed as the cloaked witch press the tip of the staff with the gem on top for the crystal to suddenly go up faster than before.
"I seek the power of the Rift Specter which is a powerful artifact from lands lost to time. It has the power to rend time and space allowing one who wields it the power to control reality itself. You are in my way of such power," Witchcraft said with a cool detached nature.
The crystals encase Eggman in a prism of hard crystal for the figure to open his palm and then close it into a fist. The crystal prison explodes like a bomb for blood-stained crystal fragments and body parts rain down around the cloaked witch.
"The fat doctor has been killed. Seems all too easy," Maser Zik said.
"It's due to our electromagnetic abilities. Machines against us are useless," Zavok said as Witchcraft goes to the desk to pick up the piece of the Rift Specter.
"Excellent, we only need 7 more pieces left but they are scattered across this world. It's only a manner of time until I have the ultimate power," Witchcraft said as she and her Deadly Sic disappear into a void of darkness to leave behind a huge magical explosion leaving Eggman's base to become a big crater.
Elsewhere Sonic and Tails were hanging out with his longtime girlfriend/teammate Amy Rose outside of Tails' Mystic Ruin workshop as Tails discovers something pretty interesting that Amy would find useful. "Tails, what kind of gadget you cooked up this time?" Amy asked.
"Oh well it's not something I made but what I found," Tails said as he pulls something out of his bag which is a blue crystal ring. Amy looks on to be amazed by this.
"It's so pretty Tails," Amy said as Sonic knows there is something special about it.
"Well, it's not just pretty but it has mystic powers allowing you to wield Magic Amy," Tails said as Amy has stars in her eyes.
"This is so cool and is helpful to beat up Eggman," Amy said as she takes the blue ring to switch it with one of her golden ring bracelets to feel a surge of energy from her body. A white aura covers her body as Amy feels so strong now. "Wow, what a rush. I can feel the power flowing through me now," Amy said.
Tails use his datapad to scan Amy's body which is magically empowering it. "Amazing, she did get stronger. The ring's magic is powering up her senses and her body," Tails said.
"I need to try this out," Amy said as she starts to run like the wind making her go at swift speeds which Sonic is very impressed by this. "Oh my, this is so cool," Amy said staring at her boyfriend with a smirk. "Looks like I can keep up with you now," Amy said.
"You can try babe," Sonic joked as Amy empowers her hammer with magical energy to strike a tree to make it burst apart on impact.
"Interesting, you can use your new energy to power up your hammer to do different things," Tails said as Amy calls upon the Crystal Ring's power to allow her to toss a fireball from her palms to hit a tree setting it on fire.
"Pretty cool," Sonic said.
"I can throw fireballs now," Amy said.
"Interesting casting magic spells as well. Amy, I hope you put it to good use since Eggman or some other threat could be another the corner," Tails said as Amy hugs her friend.
"Thank you Tails, I am like a magical girl now. This is so cool," Amy said.
"I hope you can get a cute outfit," Sonic said as he is thinking about Amy in a sexy yet cute outfit fitting her battlemage role now.
"I think I have an idea but you have to wait and see baby," Amy said as she kisses him on the lips making him have lustful thoughts.
"Can't wait for it," Sonic said as the couple heads back to Station Square
A day later, Sonic sits on top of a building enjoying the beautiful sights of Station Square while the orange sun lies against the horizon. "Man, it's been several weeks since we kick Egghead's ass. Guess he went up and quit, too bad it's going to be quite boring with him not making a fool of himself," Sonic pondered.
Sonic sits in his long chair enjoying the cool autumn breeze blowing his quills along with the wind as he plays with a pearl white locket. "I better get back home before I fall asleep on this chair," Sonic rushes into the building and appears on the street rushing through crowds of Mobians and Humans on the sidewalk.
He stops at the door of a large ten-story apartment complex, "Home sweet home." Sonic goes inside and gets into an elevator heading for the 5th floor.
"I hate this elevator; I would take the stairs if they weren't being remade," Sonic is tapping his foot being very impatient as the elevator stops on the third floor. A pair of Mobian girls along with a middle-aged human man got inside for the elevator to continue upward. The two girls notice him as they scream in delight.
"Sonic the Hedgehog, right; you're way more handsome in person," a grey hedgehog female said as she leans next to him.
"All say you were great on the news. Handsome and brave," a red female vixen said as the two flirted with the blue blur. Sonic notices the man is intently looking at the Station Square Times newspaper with the headline. 'Uncertain Times: Is this a time of peace or a delayed timetable before the devilish Dr. Eggman would strike again.'
"Hey Sonic, how about you come with me and my friend for some drinks," the grey hedgehog said as Sonic backed away from the girl getting defensive.
"Look ladies that sounds nice but I'm already with someone. Someone special to me," Sonic said as he grips the locket tightly in his gloved hand.
"You mean that pink busty bimbo," the hedgehog girl said.
"I know right, so plain," the vixen said as Sonic is pissed with this.
"Amy saved Station Square a few times Also, she is one of my partners who aid me in defeating Eggman. Show her some respect," Sonic said giving them a nasty look.
The elevator stops on the fourth floor as the girls begin walking out there. "Man, can't believe a big shot like Sonic has a ditz as a girlfriend," the grey hedgehog said as the elevator headed for the fifth floor.
Sonic calms down as he leans against the back of the elevator. "What nonsense," Sonic muttered.
"I remember that day when that wicked Eggman attacked Station Square 3 years ago, that young woman saved my life from being crushed by that robot. She might look gentle but she got the heart of a heroine that a young lady has deep down. You are a lucky guy," the man said.
"Thanks, if Amy heard that she would appreciate what you said," Sonic felt a little better himself from the man's kind words as the elevator stops at his floor. "Have a nice day old-timer," Sonic said.
"Have a nice evening Sonic," the man said goodbye as Sonic heads down the hallway with him taking out his keys from his keychain and slipping them into the doorknob.
He sees the door is already open for the door to slowly move with Sonic heading to their bedroom being very cautious. "This could be Eggman getting his revenge, knew the egghead didn't just slip back into the dark," he said.
Sonic turns on the lights seeing the living room with junk all over the floor. "Man, I need to clean this mess up," Sonic thought as he remains focused looking out for anything suspicious.
Sonic looks over to the couch and flips over the cushions finding nothing of value. "Maybe it's just my imagination; Eggman never does the sneaky approach anyway," Sonic is easing up as a pair of small hands holds the sides of his belly.
Sonic jumps as he quickly turns and faces the person who sneaked into his apartment building. "Don't get so jumpy Blue, it's just me," a gentle voice said as Sonic is instant relief at the sight of this beautiful pink hedgehog.
"Girl, you scared the crap out of me; I thought you were one of Eggman's Egg Pawns who got into our place," Sonic said.
"I didn't mean to scare you; I wanted to surprise you. Guess it works," Amy walks over to the couch with Sonic following after. Sonic sits beside his girlfriend as he stares at the wonderful blue knee-length dress forming around her round plump breasts, curvy lower body, and shapely waist with her long pink hair reaching her shoulder blades.
"You look wonderful in that dress, a special occasion perhaps?" Sonic asked as Amy got rosy on her muzzle.
"Well, actually it is. Today is a special day, you do remember right?" Amy asked as Sonic tries to remember what she means, "You forgot didn't you?" Amy raised her eyebrows.
"Well of course I don't, babe." Sonic is struggling to remember as she playfully punches him in the arm.
"You dummy, it's the 8 years since we have known each other and been together," Amy said for they are now both 21 years old as Sonic snaps his fingers and realized it.
"Oh right, sorry. Been on edge today, some jerks were picking on you; I had to put them straight," Sonic feeling angry at those girls from before. Amy frowns as she holds her hero's hand and looks at him with bright green eyes.
"I thank you Sonic for always sticking up for me. Sometimes it gets me so angry when people poke fun for my hobby of tarot cards but it doesn't bother me as much when I was younger," Amy said.
"Forgot them, you're a wonderful person. You helped save Mobius too many times to count," Sonic wraps his arm around her shapely waist as Ms. Rose kisses her mate on the cheek.
"You're so sweet to me, Blue you know that," Amy uses Sonic's pet name as she cuddles up with him on the couch.
"Back then, you pull me out of a dark place back then. I'm forever grateful Sonic," Amy said.
"You were worth it in the end," Sonic said as he grips the pendant tightly around his neck looking fondly at it. "We should go out somewhere for the occasion, do you think?" Sonic asked as the pink hedgehog's face brightens up.
"We should head out for the Station Square Museum; they got some new displays showing there. Can you go with me there please?" Amy looks into his eyes as Sonic can see she's making puppy dog eyes.
"Sure, I might learn a thing or two. Let's go." Amy is pretty giddy as they go on a date to the Museum. "Let's head off before it gets crowded," Amy said sounding very excited.
Sonic and Amy are going through the streets holding each other's hands with the moon taking over the night sky. "I'm so excited about this," Amy is jumping for joy as Sonic finds this amusing.
"Your cute when you geek out like that," Sonic teased as Amy feels embarrassed by this.
"I can't help myself, I am a bit of a history buff," the couple arrives at the Station Square Museum with the guard at the door. "I have a pass; I'm allowed a guest with me," Amy said.
"Yes Miss Rose, we are very familiar with you. You and your date can go through," the guard lets them inside as the couple goes inside.
"Let's look around," Amy drags Sonic through the halls and makes their way to the Material section. The rosy hedgehog looks around with her big green eyes lit up from looking at the different stones. "This is a Vexx stone, it is about half as hard as diamond. Created from high heat and pressure under a volcano," Amy said.
Sonic and Amy walk out of the material section and go into the Dinosaur section as the couple is looking over a T-Rex skeleton. "Dinosaurs, now these are cool," Sonic said.
"Did you know that a T-Rex's jaw can tear off whole sections of flesh from a plant eater?" Amy said.
"Hope Eggman doesn't revive one and turn it into a cyborg. We would be screwed," Sonic and Amy share a laugh as they move onto one of the newer displays.
"Did you hear on the news?" Amy asked as Sonic shakes his head.
"No why?" he asked.
"This happened?" Amy pulls out her smartphone to show him images of one of Eggman's bases becoming a huge crater.
Sonic looks on with surprise and shock. "Seriously, did he do something stupid and blow up his base," Sonic shook his head.
"Well, it's quite odd. It's been a while since he has shown up, he could be dead," Amy said as Sonic laughs at this.
"Eggman is like a cockroach, you keep stepping on him and he keeps coming back for me," Sonic said as Amy nods her head.
"I know but it's quite weird. He would make a big deal about making a comeback or some crap like that," Amy said.
"Yeah but we got to keep watch over the situation," Sonic said as a weird shadow is right below them watching them from a distance.
"The two rats, get rid of them while I secure the goods," Zavok said via the psychic link for the shadow goes towards Sonic and Amy.
"What the hell?" Sonic kicks the shadow to knock it into a pillar as Amy is bothered by this weird creature's appearance.
"Eww; what is this thing?" Amy wondered as this creature is a Grunt which is 3 feet tall and has a weird humanoid shape with claws and fangs. It has black inky skin and yellow beady eyes.
"It's no good that's what it is, let's go, Amy," Sonic said as Amy magically summons her Piko-Piko Hammer which has been magically empowered by the Crystal Ring's power.
Amy's outfit is changing with magic switching into a completely new one which is of a red Lolita sailor dress with a pink sailor collar and white bow just below it along with the skirt having white bows encircling it. Also, she is wearing red and white knee-high combat boots, a pink sailor cap, and red bridal-style gloves that are fingerless.
"Wow, looking pretty there Babe," Sonic said as her curvy figure complements the outfit too well.
"Thanks, I managed to use my mind to dream up a pretty magical girl outfit and the Crystal Ring gave me it. Come on, let's take this thing out," Amy said as they swiftly go for the Grunt but it is bouncing off the walls trying to not get hit by Sonic's Homing Attacks or Amy's hammer strikes.
Sonic uses his Boost attack to tackle the monster with Amy charging up her hammer with flames. "Burn away," Amy slams her hammer into the monster to let out an explosive surge from her swing destroying the Grunt but more begin to pop up trying to attack them.
"There are more of them," Sonic said as he kicks a Grunt into a wall to burst into a pile of black goo.
"Yeah this is getting annoying," Amy said as she bashes Grunts out of the way while she cast a fireball to blow up a group of them. "Ice," Amy cast a blast of icy winds to freeze several Grunts with Sonic using his spin dash to scatter them to pieces.
"Good combo," Sonic said as Amy feels happy to hear his praise.
"Well, I have been playing with it for a bit. I have a long way to go in unlocking the full potential of my new powers," Amy said as she got slashed in the back by the Grunt but her magic outfit managed to negate some of the damage remaining unharmed. "Very handy magic armor in the form of a cute outfit," Amy notes this as she slams into a Grunt to kill it.
"You manage to kill off my Grunts impressive but not enough rats," Zavok appears for Sonic and Amy looks on with confusion.
"Who the hell are you weirdo?" Sonic uses his Spin Dash but Zavok uses his strength to knock him through a window.
"Baby, you monster," Amy uses the wind to increase her speed to swing her hammer at the red demon but he manages to block all her shots.
"I am Zavok, the leader of the Deadly Six. Powerful Demons who serve our mistress Witchcraft. I am here to secure an artifact which will aid in us finding the ultimate power," Zavok said.
"The Chaos Emeralds," Sonic said as he burst out of the busted window to strike the red demon's head but make him flinch.
"The Master Emerald?" Amy asked as she lobs fireballs with Zavok opening his mouth to unleash a huge beam of flames to cancel out her spells and Amy ducks to avoid getting burned to a crisp.
"Even better the Rift Specter. My mistress wants it to control all of time and space but you will not get in her way," Zavok said as the two hedgehogs are interested in this.
"Thanks for the info big red," Sonic said jokily as Zavok punches Sonic to send him flying with Amy catching him.
"Doesn't matter," Zavok said as a Grunt hands him the compass which is intact. "Excellent, goodbye rats," Zavok said as he disappears within a portal of darkness along with the Grunts disappearing along with them.
"Gee, this is getting out of hand. Who is that guy?" Sonic wondered.
"I bet he and his mistress were connected with that base exploding from the new report," Amy said.
"Yeah, a new villain is in town but it's our job to stop them," Sonic said with a cheeky grin which Amy deeply loves about him.
"Damn that cocky smile is sexy it makes my pussy wet," Amy thought.
"We need to bounce out of here and head home to talk with tails about all this," Sonic said as the couple head back to the apartment with the museum in ruins.
Elsewhere Zavok and Witchcraft's minions called the Unbound teleport behind her in her chambers. "This is the compass you wanted mistress," Zavok said as a tall, beautiful light skinned human woman appears wearing a purple robe dress fitting her shapely figure to nod her head at her servant's good work.
"Good Zavok. Your creation was not a waste of my time," Witchcraft said as she looks at the compass to see if it was inactive. It will take some time until it activates to look for the next piece. Dismiss," Witchcraft said as Zavok bowed his head to disappear with the powerful witch laughing like a maniac. "The power of the Lost World would be mine and everything will be under my foot," Witchcraft said as she plans out her goals for the Rift Specter.
