Chapter 1: The Daughter of Dracula
Somewhere, miles away from the city of Amity Park, there is a boarding school. This isn't just any boarding school, it is one for all girls, girls of a certain background.
Specifically, the daughters of monsters.
Starting with the youngest was the adorable Tanis, daughter of The Mummy, specifically Imhotep and his wife, the love of his life even after death. Tanis was small, innocent and not the least bit aware of anything truly evil in the world.
The next was Winnie, daughter of the Wolfman. She was rambunctious, hot-headed and definitely the wild one.
Following is Phantasma, Phanty for short, daughter of The Phantom. A sweet, perky ghost girl who was, ironically, full of life.
Next was Elsa Frankenteen, daughter of what was once known as Frankenstein's Monster. The strongest of the girls as well as possessing one of the biggest hearts.
Finally, there was Sibella, daughter of Dracula. She was the oldest and the most strong-willed of the five. Sibella, while a vampire, was very kind and caring and she always stuck by her ghoulfriends through thick and thin.
This is the story of how she met the love of her life.
However, love is not what was on the minds of everyone at the school at the time.
Recently, a few of the students were being pulled out of fear that someone was still attacking. That someone they fear was Revolta. How and why she's still around wasn't what bothered them, but her Creeper had been spotted around the school lately.
Not wanting a repeat of what happened last time, many new students were pulled out until this issue was taken care of, including their most recent additions of the daughter of Godzilla, a martian and the Gill-Man.
As of right now, Ms. Grimwood was in her room, shaking her head as she sat at her desk.
"I can't believe this… I had hoped Revolta had learned her lesson…" She said to herself. "There must be some way to protect my little ghouls and the school…" She said to herself.
There was a knock at her door.
"Ms. Grimwood?" Sibella, the vampire, asked from the other side. "Is everything okay?"
Ms. Grimwood straightened up.
"Oh… yes… I am." She lied. "I will be down soon…" She said.
''Are you alright?" Sibella asked.
"Yes, I am fine..." The head mistress lied.
"Okay…" She heard Sibella say, though the tone seemed unsure.
"I'll be down soon, Sibella…" She called out.
Once Sibella left, Ms. Grimwood sighed.
I hate lying to my little ghouls… She thought. What am I to do now?
She needed to protect them from that awful spider witch but she had no idea how.
As she got up and looked through her books, she saw something.
Specifically, a certain being not even the fathers of the girls would mess with.
She got to pondering.
Could this being help me?
Meanwhile, Sibella had returned to her room, where the rest of the girls were.
Phantasma and Elsa were playing cards, while Winnie was running around on all fours and Tanis was with her stuffed Sphinx doll she got from her mummy father.
All in all, a typical Grimwood setting.
"So uh… how is Ms. Grimwood?" Elsa asked.
"She seems okay… but I know she's not doing so well… She's just as worried about what's going on as we are…" She said.
"Oh…" Tanis said sadly.
Suddenly, everyone felt down.
"Uh, Sibella? What's gonna happen to the school?" Elsa asked.
"I don't know…" She responded, feeling down.
Seeing everyone feeling down, Phantasma noticed a magazine she had just finished on her bed and picked it up.
"So… girls? Anyone wanna talk about their dream guy? This magazine lists off potential boys depending on your tastes…"
"Eww..." Tanis said, due to being too young.
"Eh, not interested..." Winnie said, dismissively.
"Duh...I don't know..." Elsa shrugged
Sibella smiled.
"Okay… let's see…" She pondered.
"It isn't anything like those Calloway Cheaters, is it?" Winnie asks.
"Those boys are too immature… they apparently can't tell we're actual monsters…" Sibella stated.
All of the girls quickly agreed with her.
"HOOOOOWWWW dense are they?" Winnie asked.
''Very dense." Sibella said simply.
"Are all boys like that?" Tanis asked.
"Duh… no. Just the really dumb ones…" Elsa said.
"Boys are weird…" Tanis said.
"Fortunately, not all boys are…" Sibella said with a smile.
Phanty looked at Sibella with a smirk.
"So, any idea on what your dream guy is like?" Phanty asked.
Sibella blushed.
"Well… someone cute, for sure." She said.
"That's a given…" All of them said.
Sibella looked confused.
"Huh… what do you mean?" She asked.
"You're a Dracula…" Phantasma said.
Sibella shrugged.
"In any case… he has to be someone who can keep up with me, given my lineage." Sibella said.
"Does he have to be a vampire too?" Tanis asked.
"Not really… I'd rather he at least be half-human for the sake of us being able to see each other whenever possible…"
"What about a werewolf?" Winnie asked.
"I don't mind…" Sibella responded.
"What about an alien?" Tanis asked.
"I guess, though I would rather he'd live close by…" Sibella responded.
"Duh… do you think your dad would be okay with it?" Elsa asked.
"Daddy said that when a Dracula meets their soulmate, they'll know it and their family will know it." She said. "It's a thing for us vampires…"
"A thing?" Phantasma asked.
''It's called a "zing"..." She added.
"A zing?" Her friends questioned.
Sibella shrugged. She never really got why they called it that either, but it was just how it worked for her and her people.
"I think it's a fancy way of saying love at first sight." She said.
"Let's see…" Phantasma looked through the magazine. "Your ideal match is…" She frowned. "Inconclusive…"
Sibella rolled her eyes.
"Of course…" Sibella said.
"It's just a l-AWWWWOOOO-sy magazine… it doesn't tell the future." Winnie said.
"Yeah… I can't afford that subscription right now…" Phantasma said. "Still… I like what you said about your dream guy, Sibella…"
"Thanks…" Sibella said.
Phanty then began thinking about her own.
"I wonder if my dream guy is someone like Danny Phantom?" Phantasma thought out loud.
Her friends heard her.
"Danny… Phantom?" Sibella asked.
"Who is that?" Tanis asked.
"Oh, a famous ghost boy I heard about..." Phanty said.
"I never heard of him. What is he famous for?" Winnie asked.
"He is a human with ghost powers..."Phanty said.
"What?" Her friends said.
Phanty nodded.
"I had heard there are two, probably three, humans who were gifted with the powers of a ghost in the world. Father doesn't like them, thinking they're freaks of nature…" She said.
''A human with ghost powers?" Elsa said in an incredulous tone.
"Uh huh, it's the truth..." Phanty said.
"Nuh uh…" Tanis said.
"Yuh-huh." Phantasma went. "I'd show a picture, but Father hates the half-ghosts and destroyed all traces of them from the magazines I get…"
Her friends could buy that. While Phanty's dad is nice to them, he did have quite a temper on him.
Sibella only laughed a little.
"A half-human, half-ghost? That's a laugh…"
"So… she's okay?" Sam asked.
It was the day after he had saved Danielle during her brief return to Amity Park and Danny filled them in on what happened.
Although annoyed they pigged out at Nasty Burger and put it on his tab, he was more concerned with Danielle being out there on the streets.
"Yeah… I just hope she's okay." Danny admitted.
He remained quiet, sitting at their usual table.
Last night had been a VERY long night, and he almost lost someone he came to care for greatly, but at the very least, Danielle is safe now and no longer in danger of melting.
At least, there is that.
Tucker decided to speak up in an attempt to cheer him up.
"Look on the brightside, D. It's Friday and we got Spring Break." Tucker said. "Any plans?"
Sam sighed bitterly.
"I wish… my cousins are coming and guess who is looking after them?" She asked.
"I wish I could look after my cousin…" Danny said bitterly.
Sam cringed, realizing now was not the time to complain.
Smooth… She thought sarcastically to herself.
Tucker decided to change the subject.
"What about you, Danny?" Tucker spoke up.
"Nah… my folks are doing this boring little trip to hunt ghosts at a couples retreat." He said before looking unsure. "Or… I think my mom said that just so my dad could attend."
Tucker and Sam could both see that happening. Mr. Fenton is pretty gullible like that.
"What about Jazz? Brother and sister plans?" Sam asked.
"Nope… she's taking Spring Break to take a small little road trip to a college she wants to attend… and maybe try to get a boyfriend…" Danny said with a small smile. "So, I at least have the place to myself…"
"So..." Tucker started, but Danny cut him off.
"No, I am not throwing a party. Remember my parents grounded me after the last one, and I didn't even throw it..." Danny said, referring to their first Youngblood incident.
Tucker pouted before deciding to be positive.
"Well, on the plus side, you'll have a whole 9 days of total freedom to do whatever you want, with no parents around. I envy you man..." Tucker said.
"You and Sam are still paying for what you charged on my tab..." Danny said forcefully.
Tucker and Sam both cringed at that.
Darn it, I was hoping he'd forget that... They said in unison.
Later
Danny arrived home in time to see his parents leaving.
''Okay, security system is on, emergency numbers are on the phone and for ghost emergencies, the weapons vault is ready for use..." Maddie said.
"But just in case you DO see a ghost, call us ASAP..." Jack said as he lugged the last of the luggage into the RV.
"Of course…" Jazz and Danny said.
"You sure you can handle this?" Jack asked his kids.
"We'll be fine Dad..." Jazz said.
"Yeah, we've been through plenty of ghost emergencies to know what to do..." Danny said.
That seemed to satisfy their folks, before they got into the assault vehicle.
"Take care, kids." Maddie said.
''And remember, call us if you see a ghost..." Jack yelled before speeding off.
Once they were gone, Jazz raised her hands in excitement.
"Finally!" She said as she went to her car. "I thought they'd never leave…"
''I know...so..." Danny was cut off when Jazz ran inside.
She grabbed her car keys and ran to her car, which already had her belongings in it and was in the driver's seat in less than a minute.
Danny blinked, actually surprised by her speed.
"See ya Danny..." She yelled as she put the pedal to the metal.
"Drive safely! Call me if something's up!" He called out.
Soon, she was gone too.
Which means Danny was home alone.
Finally… relief.
"Hmm...Mom and Dad are gone, Jazz is gone...I got the place to myself..." Danny said as he went inside.
Once he closed the door, he grinned.
Awesome… He thought.
Reaching his room, Danny felt a little more at ease.
"Well… I guess I have the house to myself… should I get sunglasses and slide on the floor with my socks and not wear pants?" He asked himself, finding that cheesy movie reference fitting for now when he saw something on his bed. "Hello? What's this?"
It was a fancy blue and black envelope that was placed neatly on top of his pillow.
What? He thought.
He then noticed a CW logo on the side.
"Either I'm being picked up for a television show… or this is an emergency." Danny said as he opened the envelope and read the contents.
'Dear Danny, no, you are not being picked up for a television show…'
"Of course…" He said with an eye roll before he went back to reading it.
'I also know you'll roll your eyes…'
Danny rolled his eyes again.
"Okay… what's this about?" Danny asked.
'Also remember this is a piece of paper and I can't actually respond to you.'
Danny shook his head at that.
'In any case… along with this note is a map to a location that will need your help for all of Spring Break. Since this is a rare opportunity where school and family won't get involved, this is a good chance for this to happen. I'll explain what's going on when I see you… Clockwork. PS, best avoid garlic for now…'
Danny rose an eyebrow.
Avoid garlic?
He shrugged.
"Well… if Clockwork says it's important, I guess it's worth a look…"
A new month means a new fanfic.
This time it's a pairing idea few people try.
