Description: At first meant as a military science and exploration vessel, the idea was abandoned with the escalation of the threat posed by the Covenant splinter groups, especially after the near continuous raids and attacks on different human colonies throughout the late 2550's and early 2560's that showed that some of the major factions are much more larger and more powerful than first realized. So after some major reshuffling of the Naval hierarchy, the Infinity and her sister ship the Eternity were taken to the Sol Oort Cloud shipyards, with the Enduring Reach, and Trial Through Fire already being constructed there, and underwent their most longest and extensive refits in their entire service life. The biosphere, civilian housings, and park were replaced with more armor plating, weaponry, and space for their Marine, ODST, and aerospace complements. Now under the Battlecarrier designation, the Infinity-Class serves as the most powerful line of dedicated warships built by human hands.
