CARRIE THE HEDGEHOG
Chapter 1: A New Life
All she could see… All she could hear… All she could feel… was pain… Pain from the moment she was born… to the moment her life ended… leading to nothing… nothing but darkness…
The pain of her life came in many forms, from the abuse of her own mother… to the humiliations and tormenting bullying from everyone around her at school… especially when she had her first period incident during gym class… when she called for help, all they did, was laugh and throw tampons at her, while recording the incident…
The final time the humiliation would happen… was when she was crowned queen of the prom… everyone cheered for her… only for her to be crowned in blood… causing the cheers to turn into either gasps of horror, or humiliating laughter… But then, the laughters were instantly turned to gasps of shock, as when she was offered a helping hand, only for her to reject the help, as she forcefully pushed her gym teacher to the floor with her secret powers…
Unbeknown to her, the shockwave of her power, had caused the bucket that poured the blood on her, to come loose, as it swung loose, and fell… hitting her on the back of her head, cracking her skull fatally, as she lifelessly fell to the floor, as everywhere around her went black…
(The nightmare ends…)
Two Pearl Pink coloured eyes suddenly shot open, as they looked around, as the person found themselves in a capsule, full of some sort of green water like liquid, with all sorts of medical like tubes and cables linked up to her body, unable to get out, as she started panicked, letting bubbles of air with her gasps and panics, as she began banging her hands on the glass of the capsule…

The figure had long strawberry Blonde coloured hair & quills on her head, flowing through the capsule liquid, she had matching fur covering nearly all her humanoid body, except her arms, hands, and her chest and abdomen, she also had 2 pointed ears, showing through her hair & quills on her head, she also had Pearl Pink stripes going up from her hands, up to her elbows, as well as Pearl Pink stripe like eye linings, matching her pearl pink eyes…
As the girl was still panicking, she then saw 3 figures run through the door… they were humanoid, but not human, one was a black hedgehog, with Black quills along with Crimson Red stripes and eyes, he also had golden inhibitor rings on his wrists with white gloves and ankles with his matching black, White and Red Jet shoes. The second figure was a girl hedgehog, who had Dark Blonde hair and Dark Blue eyes. She wore a light blue dress, with a Dark Blue Top shirt with Light Blue trim, a Dark Blue headband, and matching blue jet shoes. The third figure was a grey hedgehog, with Dark Blue stripes, like the Black & Red Hedgehog, he wore a white science lab jacket with gold trim, white gloves, a Dark brown sweater, Light brown trousers, and black shoes, along with Blue Pince-nez glasses…
"She's awake, and panicking!" The Black & Red Hedgehog said in shock.
"I'll release her, shadow, you and Maria keep her calm." The Grey and Blue hedgehog replied.
"It's ok, Carrie, sweetheart, we're here, you're gonna be ok, we'll get you out…" The Blonde hedgehog called Maria replied calmly, as she gently placed her left hand on the capsule, as the Strawberry Blonde hedgehog, who was Carrie, soon stopped panicking, and placed her right hand exactly where Maria's was, feeling she could trust her…
Soon, the capsule was drained of the green liquid, and the breathing mask was removed, along with the capsule opening, as Carrie nearly fell out of the capsule, as Shadow and Maria caught her, as Carrie could feel the cold attack her body, as well as the air painfully enter her lungs, while gasping from the air, as Shadow removed the medical cables from her body, while Maria got and wrapped Carrie in a large and warm towel...
"Carrie, are you ok sweetheart?" Maria asked in concern and worry.
"I think so… Wait... why did you call me that?" Carrie asked in concern and confusion…
"Well, that's your name, sweetheart, don't you remember?" Maria asked in concern and worry.
"What do you remember?" Shadow asked in concern and worry as well.
"I… I remember… being laughed at… being humiliated… being hurt… by everyone…" Carrie replied, almost about to cry, remembering fragments, as Maria comforted her…
"Must be early signs of her memories, slowly coming back…" Gerald said in concern…
"It's best we keep her calm, let her rest for a bit, until she's a bit more settled… Before she's ready for anything…" Shadow agreed.
Shadow, Maria, and Gerald then continued to comfort Carrie, unsure of how long it would be, before Carrie was ready for a new life, as well as the challenges that may come, from when she returns to earth, from their current location: The Space Colony Ark…
