Hey, fellow fanfic readers! Today, I bring ya another random part of my Dragon Ball X series! This time, it's my Dragon Ball X version of the movie: Wrath of the Dragon. You may notice some differences if you've seen the actual movie, but I'll just let ya see for yourselves. Now it's time for disclaimers! I don't own Dragon Ball, Z, GT, Super, Pokemon, The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly OddParents, or Shrek (The latter four will just be mentioned throughout this story), this is all just for good fun. Enjoy!

Somewhere in a dark, wrecked open area, a young boy with pointy ears carefully looked around him. He was being cautious of monstrous noises in the same area.

Suddenly a big shadow came up from behind, the boy quickly turns around, got his sword ready and tried to fight back.

In the end, he screamed just before a giant monster bug's foot crushed him to death. Now the only things left were the sword, a pair of giant monster legs...and a mysterious figure who watched the whole thing in the shadows. "Next stop...the world known as West City!" The figure declared with a sinister evil laugh.

Dragon Ball X: Wrath of the Dragon!

Speaking of West City, a cheering crowd went wild as they watch a Pokemon battle unfolding. Taking part of the Pokemon battle was none other than Team Z leader and Kalos Champion himself, Son Gokin. The young Saiyan was facing off against a trainer with a Blastoise while Gokin had his Lucario out.

The challenger gulped nervously. "Gee, I knew this kid's a good trainer, but I didn't he'd be THIS skilled! He's never lost a single member of his team, and here I am down to my last one." He shook his head and looked determined. "Hey, boy! I know you're the champion of Kalos, but don't think that means I'm gonna go down without a fight!"

Gokin grinned. "I hope not, I'm having a blast! Come on, mister, let's keep going!" Lucario grunted and got ready to fight.

The challenger smirked. "Okay, kid, I'm ready when you are." "Blast!" Blastoise agreed.

The challenger, named John, made the next move. "Your Pokemon won't stand a chance against my trump card! Blastoise, use Water Pulse!" Blastoise fired balls of water from his cannons at the opponent.

However, Gokin was ready for something like that. "Lucario, Metal Claw!" As the water balls got closer, Lucario just stood there and sliced the Water Pulse balls with ease using his Metal Claw, shocking both John and Blastoise. "Now use Aura Sphere!" Lucario charged up and quickly fired his Aura Sphere, hitting Blastoise right in the face.

John gasped. "Blastoise!" Then he growled. "Okay, kid, you want to play rough, eh? Well, I say we skip to the boss level! You in?" He held up a Key Stone on his fingerless glove.

Seeing the stone made Gokin grin again as he held up his Mega Ring. "Awesome! I want to see what both you and Blastoise can really do!"

"Ha, I'm beginning to like ya, kid!" John looked to see his Pokemon shaking his head to shake off the Aura Sphere. "Ready to go all out, partner?" Blastoise nodded his head and gave his trainer a thumbs-up. "Blastoise!"

"That's my tank!" John tapped his Key Stone, making it glow along with Blastoise's Mega Stone. "Now witness the might of the underwater sharpshooter! Blastoise, time to Mega Evolve!" Blastoise roared, glowed and began to change. Once it was done, Blastoise was now in his Mega form with one big cannon on his back and a smaller cannon on each arm.

Gokin whistled in awe as he looked at the opposing Pokemon. "Mega Blastoise, eh? I like the arm cannons he's got now." He turned to his Aura Pokemon. "Ready, Lucario?" Lucario nodded with a smirk of his own. "Okay, it's our turn!" Gokin tapped his Key Stone to make it and Lucario's Mega Stone glow as well. "When we work together, nothing can stop our power! Lucario, Mega Evolve!" The two held their stones up high. Lucario grunted and began to change. Soon he was now in his Mega form as well.

"Yeah, now we're talkin'! Let's get it on!" John made his next command. "Blastoise, use Water Pulse again!" Blastoise aimed his three cannons and fired more Water Pulse attacks at Lucario.

"Use Aura Sphere to counter it!" Gokin called. Lucario fired not one, but three Aura Sphere attacks to counter against Water Pulse. "Now use Metal Claw!" Lucario jumped up and dived down at Blastoise with his Metal Claw ready.

Seeing this made John grin. "I'd be careful if I were you boy. Use Rapid Spin!" Blastoise tucked himself and his cannons in his shell and began to spin around very fast. He even knocked Lucario back. The Aura Pokemon landed on his feet, despite being surprised.

"You okay, Lucario?" Gokin asked. Lucario grunted with a nod. "That's the spirit! Now, use Aura Sphere again!" Lucario nodded and fired some Aura Sphere attacks at Blastoise.

"Blastoise, use Rapid Spin again and knock those Aura Spheres away!" John called. Blastoise kept spinning fast and was able to deflect the attacks away.

As the crowd cheered, a mysterious figure watched from a distance. He looked on, mainly at Gokin. Then, while chuckling to himself, he walks away just as Lucario got Blastoise good with a fast and powerful Close Combat attack.

After the Pokemon battle, Gokin was now walking through a city alongside his older sister Pan. The Son siblings were talking and having a good laugh together.

"I should've known that not even a Blastoise would stand a chance against Lucario, even if they hadn't Mega Evolved!" Pan laughed a little more.

"Still, that Blastoise was no pushover. But when it comes to strong Water-Type Pokemon, I'll just stick with my first Pokemon, Greninja." Gokin smiled and looked up at the sky.

Pan smiled at her brother. "Glad to hear it, Gokin." Suddenly, the two heard a commotion and stopped. "What the...?" Pan even asked. The two rushed over and noticed a big crowd gathered around a tower known as Rainbow Tower.

The crowd's looking up at an old man with pink skin and pointy ears. "Words! As if you really cared! None of you know what it's like to live in despair! One step, and it will all be over!" the old man yelled from the top of the tower.

"Yeah, all over us!" a man yelled from the crowd.

"Do you think he's really going to jump?" someone else asked another person. One more person tried to get a good look. "I can't even see him up there. Where is he?"

Pan and Gokin looked at the crowd. "What's going on?" the latter asked. A woman in the crowd heard him. "A crazy old man got on top of Rainbow Tower and is saying he'll jump off!"

The two young Saiyans blinked at the answer. Gokin looked serious. "I don't think so." He shot up to the air. "Gokin, wait!" Pan quickly flew after her brother, leaving the bewildered random woman.

"My mind is made up! I'm going to jump!" the old man yelled.

Gokin flew next to the old man and offered his hand. "No problem, mister. Just take my hand before you do."

The old man didn't take the offer. "Get back, child! I want to die!"

"Then what are you waiting for? Just jump already, we've got places to be." Pan floated next to Gokin with her arms crossed.

Gokin quickly turned his head to his sister. "Pan, what are you doing? Don't encourage him!"

"Don't you see, bro? He's not really gonna jump. My guess is that he just wants attention and went about a crazy way to get it." Pan replied.

"Fools! You really don't think I'll do it? You'll see!" the old man quickly jumped off the tower and began to fall, surprising the Son siblings.

Gokin gasped. "He jumped!" Pan gave Gokin a sheepish look. "Okay, so he doesn't just want attention after all."

The old man screamed as he kept falling down. The crowd down below braced themselves. "HELP ME!" the old man shouted. Just before he could hit the ground, Gokin was able to catch him and fly back up.

Pan flew by and saw that the old man's eyes were closed. "Hey, you can open your eyes now. My brother's got you."

Once the old man opened his eyes...he glared up at the Saiyan boy carrying him. "WHAT WERE YOU WAITING FOR!? I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!"

Gokin blinked in confusion. "Wait, I thought you said you wanted to die. Isn't that why you jumped?"

"I SHOULD SUE!" the old man yelled.

"You're welcome." Pan deadpanned.

After setting down near a water fountain, the old man named Hoi told Pan and Gokin a story about a hero.

"You are telling me you've never heard of Tapion the Brave?" Hoi asked. Pan just folded her arms, silently giving Hoi an annoyed look.

Gokin shook his head. "No, sir. So, who's Tapion?"

"He was only the hero who single handedly saved Planet Konos of the South Galaxy a thousand years ago!" Hoi answered. "What do they teach you kids in school anyway?"

"History that's only happened on this planet, what else?" Pan replied. "Come on, Gokin. Bulla's waiting for us at Capsule Corp."

To her surprise, Gokin was more interested in the hero named Tapion. "You think I can meet him?"

Hoi nodded. "Of course." Gokin grinned. "So, where is he?" "Gokin, we're talking about someone who save a planet a thousand years ago. For all we know, he could be dead." Pan said.

"Actually, young lady, I just happened to have brought him along." Hoi showed them an old wooden music box. "Unfortunately, he's been confined in this mysterious music box."

"Huh?" Gokin tilted his head as he examined the music box. "I don't get it. Why would he be confined if he's a hero?"

Hoi smirked. "A conundrum that beckons to be solved."

Pan grabbed her younger brother by the arm. "Gokin, let's go! We were gonna play our favorite game with Bulla, Nim, and Uub, remember?"

"Just a minute, Pan." Gokin gave Hoi a serious look. "Sir, you know something and you're not telling us."

"Planet Konos was spared...but the same crisis now threatens your planet." Hoi told them, shocking the two of them.

"C-Crisis!? What are you talking about!?" Gokin took a step back in shock.

Thinking fast, Pan gently rubbed Gokin's back to calm him. "Will you please just get to the point already? I don't want my brother to have a heart attack!"

Hoi explained it. "The evil will ravage West City, then the universe, consuming all! There's nothing you can do to stop it, only Tapion can save you now." Gokin was able to calm down, thanks to his sister. Hoi continued. "That's why I've come, that's why I've spent the last thirty years searching for this music box!"

"So why don't you stop talking and just open it to get him out?" Pan asked in annoyance.

"Don't you think I've tried!?" Hoi snapped.

"But you're not able to open it, sir?" Gokin asked. Hoi held the music box to Gokin. "The honor is yours." Hoi waited until the box was in Gokin's hands. "Try spinning the handle. If it opens, maybe Tapion will live."

Pan watched as Gokin tried to turn the handle. To their surprise, the handle wouldn't budge. Gokin grunted. "I can't! It's not moving! Must be jammed or something!"

Pan sighed and held her hand out. "Here, let me see that." Gokin gave her the music box. Pan examined the music box...but tossed it right back to Hoi. "Yeah. Sorry to say, but your outta luck." Hoi scrambled to catch the box. "We tried, but it's no good." Pan began to walk away, taking Gokin by the arm again. "Come on, Gokin. Let's get outta here."

"We can't give up now, Pan! We just need-" Gokin was cut off by Hoi. "SHENRON!"

"Huh?" Both Pan and Gokin stopped and looked down at Hoi. "Please summon the Eternal Dragon." Hoi begged.

"Shenron?" Gokin asked. Pan raised an eyebrow. "Wait, how does he know about Shenron?"

"Ask him to use his mighty power to free Tapion, I beg you!" Hoi begged.

The Son siblings touched down to the ground in front of Hoi again. "Wait a minute, is that what this whole thing was about?" Gokin asked while folding his arms.

"I didn't mean to deceive you, but I knew you were my only link to Shenron." Hoi came clean. "Please introduce me."

Pan glared at Hoi. "You tricked us!" She huffed and turned her head away. "Looks like Mom's right, there's a fool born every minute."

"Some never grow up." Hoi smiled. Despite the smile, Gokin could sense something dark and sinister about Hoi.

Left with not much of a choice, Pan and Gokin took Hoi to Capsule Corp. There they, Bulla, Nim, Uub, Tierno, Trevor, Serena, Shauna, Colm, Goku, Gohan, Videl, and Bulma began to study the box.

"Let me get this straight, you guys don't trust him, yet you brought him here with you?" Nim asked two of his Saiyan friends.

"Good or bad, Nim, we've gotta figure out what's in the music box." Gokin replied. Bulma used a machine to analyze the music box.

"Whether you believe me or not is irrelevant." Hoi spoke up. "At this point, evil is at your doorstep and unless you find a way to release Tapion, all of mankind will be laid to waste."

Bulla just scoffed. "We've heard similar stuff like that before, but we managed to keep the planet safe, and not just our world."

Uub took another look at the box being scanned. "Doesn't really look special. Just looks like an old music box to me." He turned his head to Bulma. "What does the data say, Bulma?"

Bulma took a look, but shook her head. "Nope, the scanners are inconclusive." She opened up the glass around the box. "Whatever's in that box won't be revealed until you open it." She noticed that Goku tried to turn the handle himself. "Goku."

Goku grunted and struggled to get the handle turning, but like Gokin, he had no luck. "No use, it won't budge."

"Here, let me try, Dad." Gohan offered. Goku gave the box to his son who tried his hand at turning the handle. Videl sighed and shook her head, seeing that her husband couldn't do it either. "This is embarrassing."

"Guys, this isn't going to work." Trevor told them. "If Goku, Gohan, and Gokin can't open it, that strange box is staying shut." Gohan put the box down.

Tierno looked at the box and smiled. "I wouldn't say that, Trevs. There is a way we can get it open."

Goku grinned. "He's right." "You have something in mind?" Hoi asked.

"We need balls!" Goku answered.

"Huh?" Serena and Shauna asked at the same time. Even Colm blinked. "Balls?"

Gohan realized what Goku was talking about, so he smiled. "The seven Dragon Balls, right?" Goku nodded. "Yep!" Tierno blinked. "Actually, I was gonna suggest getting help from Timmy's flying friends, but I guess that works too."

Gokin shrugged with a sigh. "Well, I guess we don't have much of a choice, do we?"
