This series is inspired by LadyAnaconda's "Helluva Dad" series and LittleDragonLioness's/KiaraWildeHopps15's "Striker's Little Girl" series. I'll try not to make this series and the next series, "Helluva Parents" too similar to the two series I just mentioned. This will be a multi-chapter fic, starting with this one. Same with "Helluva Parents".
Striker, Kore, and Seth enter the human world with Blitzo and the gang to avenge their client against a cannibalistic family and things do happen!
Vol 1: Murder Family
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Kore, Striker's wife turned off the alarm and checked the alarm, which read 8:30 AM. Soon, she, Striker, and their son, Seth would be heading to work at I.M.P. Like her son, she got along very well with Blitzo and the gang, especially with Moxxie.
Kore kissed her husband awake. His eyes opened wide at the smooch.
"Striker, can you wake up Seth while I get ready?" Kore asked.
He glanced over at her. "Okay. I can do that, Kore." He scrambled out of bed, removing the sheets off him and headed over to Seth's room.
Inside the room, his son was sleeping peacefully. He sat on the bed, careful not to sit on the boy. He rubbed his son's back, awakening him.
"Wake up, buckaroo," Striker said gently.
"Dad?" Seth asked groggily and rubbed his tired eyes.
"Are you excited to see Blitz and the gang?"
"I sure am."
Just then, Striker smelled something cooking. "Do you smell that, kid?"
Seth sniffed something cooking. "I think so."
"Yep. It must be your mother cooking breakfast." Striker got off Seth's bed and went back to his bedroom to get dressed.
Striker was dressed in his cowboy attire. Kore was wearing a blue V-neck T-shirt, slightly revealing her cleavage with a purple skirt, light purple yoga pants, and brown boots. Seth was dressed in his dark blue shirt, brown pants, and black boots.
Kore was making pancakes and was flipping them over. Once they were done, she scraped under the fluffy flapjacks and put two in each plate. One for her husband and the other for her son.
Striker and Seth entered the kitchen and helped themselves to some breakfast. They buttered their pancakes and poured syrup over them.
Then Striker noticed there was coffee being made for him in the coffee maker. He assumed it was his wife, who made him coffee. He took a sniff of it before sitting down with it.
"Thanks, Doll." He started to eat his breakfast along with his son.
"No problem, Love." She winked at him before she made breakfast for herself. She poured the liquid batter onto the frying pan after spraying it with Pam, waiting for the liquid to bubble and rise before flipping them over.
Once the soft, fluffy flapjacks were cooked, she scooped them onto a plate and turned the stove off.
Kore sat down, joining the boys as she buttered her breakfast and poured syrup on top of it. Then she started to eat her flapjacks.
"So, are we ready for the big day?" Striker asked.
Kore said nothing for she had food in her mouth, but she nodded.
"Yes!" Seth cried excitedly.
After swallowing her food, Kore spoke up, "Yep and we have our human disguises in case we get discovered by humans."
"That's good to hear," Striker said, "And less chance of you getting caught."
"Hmm…why don't you get a human disguise, Dad?" Seth suggested.
"Nah, I'm good in this form."
…
Kore came over to Striker and handed him some polish. Striker took the rag and began to gently polish their blessed weapons, letting them shine.
All the while, Seth watched Loona holding a family picture with Moxxie shaking like a leaf as stared at the picture of a normal suburban human family. Sweat poured from his face and hands as he struggled to hold the gun.
"Moxxie, stop shakin'!" Millie, his wife chided. "You're gonna shoot our only hellhound!"
Loona was lying on the gray couch, holding the picture with one hand and her phone in the other.
"Wow, I feel soooo loved here," she said sarcastically.
"Just take a deep breath." Millie inhaled. "And let it out!"
"But... It's a family!" Moxxie protested, "Under what circumstances would we ever need to kill a human family?"
His wife shrugged. "I mean, if that's what the client wants."
"Not all humans are bad," Seth pointed out.
"That's true, hon," said Millie.
"We only kill those who wronged our clients," Kore added.
"Maybe like a shitty dad. Or a mob family." In a stereotypical Italian voice, he added, "That's understandable." Then he changed his voice to normal, "But to eradicate an entire innocent—seemingly in this instance—upper middle class family bloodline?"
Loona glanced at the photo with a sad look as if she felt guilty about something.
"Hey! You don't know they're innocent!" she barked before pointing to each family member in the photo. "This kid probably sets dogs on fire. Maybe this girl gets off to bullying Australian kids online. And this guy…" She paused for a dramatic effect. "This guy definitely watches."
"Exactly!" Millie agreed, "Humans are full of secret nasties. It's why so many of them end up here."
"But—"
Before her husband could protest any further, she continued, "Guilty and innocent aren't our business, Mox." She touched his cheeks, adding, "Killin' who we're paid to is our business." She kissed him on the cheek. "Shoot the target."
Moxxie aimed his crossbow at the photo.
"I just think it's a bit excessive, and we could be a bit more selective, is all."
"I agree with Moxxie," Kore said.
"Me, too," Seth piped in.
Blitzo loudly opened the door to the office with his client behind him.
"Guys! I want you to meet—" Caught off guard by Blitzo's sudden break in, Moxxie accidentally fired his arrow and it ricocheted all over the room. Millie hopped into Moxxie's arms as the arrow hit a computer. The arrow then flew, poking a hole through a photo that a shocked Loona was holding. Kore picked Seth up and Striker held them both protectively and the trio ducked down to avoid being smacked by the arrow. It struck the bottom of a tank with eels and the tank began to jiggle dangerously. Before the arrow could hit the client, Blitzo caught it with one hand. "...our newest client!"
The eel tank crashed down as glass and water spilled onto the floor, along with the eels, electrically setting fire to the office.
"Dammit, Moxxie! I just BOUGHT those eels!" Blitzo angrily threw the arrow somewhere with a pout.
…
Thankfully, everyone managed to vacate the building as the imp firefighters arrived at the scene and carried the eels away and headed into a red fire truck. Despite the incident Moxxie accidentally caused, the client surprisingly did not cancel for she was confident that the team was going to off the person who did her wrong.
"It's okay, Moxxie, you didn't mean it," Seth said, placing a comforting hand on Moxxie's shoulder.
"You just didn't expect Blitz to pop in out of the blue, that's all," Kore agreed.
"Byyyyye! And don't worry, we'll get that skank in less than twenty-four hours or your first kill is freeeeeeee!" Blitzo called as he waved goodbye to the client who was inside the taxi.
"When did we start implementing that deal?" Moxxie asked.
Blitzo turned to Moxxie to make him face him.
"When you set fire to my office in front of a CLIENT, YOU FUCKIN' DIPSHIT!" Blitzo growled as he grabbed his employee's face before shoving him away.
"Blitz, chill the fuck out!" Kore scolded.
"What about the book?" Seth asked all of a sudden.
Yeah, what happened to the book I.M.P. usually used for the mortal realm? Had it been engulfed in the flames, too?
Loona typed on her phone. "You mean... our only ticket to the other side?" She pulled out a blue book, which hid behind her, not keeping her eyes off her phone. "Yeah. Got it."
"And that's why you're my favorite, Loonie," Blitzo said proudly and in a baby voice, he added, "You get a tweat now!" He held up a dog treat to her.
Loona looked at him with disgust. "Ew. Stop."
Blitzo tossed the said treat into the air and caught it with his tongue, like a frog. He pulled it into his mouth and devoured it.
"You're so gross!" Loona snapped.
Millie drew a pentagram with chalk on the brick wall. It glowed red and created a portal to the human world.
Blitzo paid Loona no mind. "Awwww, stop it. I get enough of that from my therapist."
Loona rolled her eyes and left the scene. Blitzo put his hand on Moxxie's face, who struggled to walk toward Millie.
"Now, let's go lick some ass!" Blitzo shouted eagerly.
"Ew!" Striker, Kore, and Seth said with disgust.
"Yeah. The expression is 'kick some ass'... Blitz," Millie corrected. Then Millie snapped her fingers at Blitzo as she walked through the portal.
"Mine's better." Blitzo followed her through the portal.
"Aww, ffffuck…" Moxxie groaned as he, Striker, Kore, and Seth followed Millie and Blitzo through the portal.
…
Once in the human world, Seth and Kore were in their human forms. Like their imp counterparts, Kore had black short hair and the clothes she'd been currently wearing and Seth also wore the same clothes as this morning and had tannish hair like his father. However, they had white eyeballs and blue eyes. The air around them smelled good, compared to the one back home in Wrath, which smelled of ash, lava, and sulfur. Striker couldn't agree more with them. The serene scene of the sunset in the human world felt relaxing to them like back home.
They came to a small red house by the lake and when they approached the house even closer, Blitzo, Moxxie, Striker, Kore, and Seth leaned against the side of it, rising from the bushes.
Blitzo and Striker peered through the window outside the house. Inside the house, a mother was serving dinner inside a covered platter to her husband and two children.
"That's gotta be her," Blitzo chuckled darkly. "This is too easy."
"Moxxie, do you want this one?" Striker offered.
Moxxie looked awfully surprised. "Me?"
"Come on. This one's simple enough for you to handle." Striker smirked.
Moxxie stood up and peered through the window. His face fell as he looked at the family having dinner.
"It's just a happy mother who just got out of the hospital," Blitzo continued as Moxxie watched the couple affectionately give each other Eskimo kisses, making the latter hesitate to kill the assigned target.
"You snooze, you lose, Mox!"
"Oh, well." Striker shrugged and pulled out his blessed tipped rifle, aiming it straight at Martha, their assigned target, who blinked innocently with her doe eyes wide. "And I've got you, bitch."
"Wait... Are we actually killing a family?!" Moxxie asked in shock.
"No, don't be a puss," Blitzo snarked, "We're just killing a mother." He watched as Striker positioned his rifle, adding, "We're ruining a family!"
"Exactly, Mox," Striker said, clicking his rifle.
"But… Ho- Hold on, hold on!" Moxxie said, trying to reason with Blitzo and Striker, "Let's just think about it." Moxxie lifted up Striker's gun as he fired.
"What the FUCK was that, Moxxie?!" Blitzo demanded.
"Blitz, you seriously need to chill out!" Seth reprimanded.
"Seth, stay out of it and let them talk," Striker said, strangely calm about the situation, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Dad! Don't you see he was trying to reason with you guys?!" Seth retorted, "You both pick on him all the time and I've let it slide before, but not this time!"
"Sorry, Striker, but I'm siding with Seth," Kore agreed.
"What? You, too?!" Striker shot back, the lines on his eyes growing bigger and his tail rattling as he hissed out of betrayal.
"That was a shitty thing to say about Moxxie and you know it!"
As they argued, Moxxie breathed anxiously, eye twitching. He let out a croak with his snake-like tongue out. He then fell to his knees, hands over his face.
"I'm sorry," he apologized, his eyes welling up with tears, "They just seemed so wholesome and happy." He took more breaths. "I panicked!"
"None of this would've happened if you hadn't FUCKED up my shot!" Striker growled.
Blitzo facepalmed as he resumed the argument. "Oh, who the fuck is innocent, Moxxie?! From the moment of birth, you're already a parasite leeching off your momma's tits!" Blitzo leaned in and poked Moxxie's head and chest, curtly adding, "Get the FUCK over yourself, you baby dick prune!"
BAM!
A blast shot through the wall and hit Blitzo in the arm, black blood flying out.
Luckily for Seth and Kore, Striker managed to pull them away from the bullet, despite their previous argument.
He cried in pain as he clutched onto his injured arm. "A new hole! SCATTER!"
Blitzo, Striker, Seth, and Millie fled the scene and Moxxie and Kore hid in the bushes. Moxxie and Kore peered out from the bushes and rapidly looked around. A child's hand grabbed Moxxie by his tail and he yelped.
"MOXXIE!" Kore gasped, seeing her friend in trouble. Then suddenly, something hit her head, knocking her out. The last thing she saw before closing her eyes was her son safely with Millie and her husband fleeing with her boss.
…
Moxxie and Kore opened their eyes and gasped to find themselves tied to each strange chair. The boy and girl looked at Moxxie with red eyes and devious grins on their faces, making him cringe.
Kore looked at Moxxie with concern and she could tell by the look on his face that he was not okay.
"Mox," she spoke, making him gasp.
"I got this, Kore," Moxxie assured her nervously, not turning away from the kids. To them, he added, "Oh! Well, hello there, little ones. Aren't you cute?"
"It's nice to have new critters to play with," the kids spoke in a low creepy tone in unison.
Kore and Moxxie both looked around the kitchen to see disjointed human body parts including limbs, heads, organs, blood, bones, and skin. In front of them was the platter from earlier, Moxxie and Kore found what was inside that said platter: A dead human with an apple in his mouth with organs on the side.
The sight alone made Kore want to vomit.
"Ohhhhh... crumbs," Moxxie said in terror.
He and Kore both struggled against the ropes. If only there was something she could do to help Moxxie, but she had no idea if there was anything.
Just then, outside the house, they gasped as they saw fire being lit from inside as if a mob was coming their way.
"Millie!"
"Seth! Striker!"
As both kids stared at Moxxie with wide, toothy grins again, Kore snarled at them, ready to snap at any moment as she struggled against the ropes. Then she noticed the sound of a knife being pulled. She growled at the girl who pulled it and let out a demonic shriek and was now in her imp form.
Encouraged by her bravery, Moxxie glared at the child with determination as she raised the knife only for her to be knocked to the ground as he pushed the chair he was in backwards and managed to grab the knife from her. He then cut himself free from the knife and went to free Kore.
"Thanks, Mox," she said, feeling her wrists, which were tied behind the chair. "I couldn't hold it in anymore."
"I don't blame you, Kore," Moxxie told her, "But our loved ones are in danger!"
"Let's kill that fucking bitch!" And together, they burst out of the house, fully armed with their weapons.
…
Seeing poor Millie knocked out by a large man, something inside him snapped, so he growled as he changed back into an imp. He took out his dad's blessed knife from his boot, which was used for safekeeping and hopped onto the said man's back, preparing to stab him in the back, only for the man to get the upper hand and tossed him to the side alongside Millie. The last thing he saw before closing his eyes was the same man, grinning down upon him.
…
Striker, seeing Blitzo tired of running with his injured arm, carried him bridal style. However, when Blitzo got a phone call, Striker let him answer it. Like Blitzo, Striker admonished the caller, who was none other than the ditzy blueblood Blitzo conned to get to Earth, telling the Grimoire keeper they were in danger and Kore was taking care of Moxxie and Seth was helping Millie.
Stolas took in the situation and he ended the call.
However, Striker and Blitzo were trapped by the target they were after, pushing the butt of her gun against Blitzo's throat, threatening to send them back to Hell, where they came from.
…
Seth, Striker, Millie, and Blitzo were tied to a stake. Above them were spikes. Ralphie laughed evilly as he poured gasoline on the ground under their feet. Nearby, a grinning Martha holds a torch in her left hand.
"I had that fucking shot!" Striker fumed.
"God dammit, Moxxie!" Blitzo agreed.
"Guys! Can't you see we're tied up?!" Seth shouted, making them shut up instantly.
Martha was now wearing skull earrings, jeans, and a torn low-cut shirt with polka dots. Her eyes were red and her blonde hair was thick.
"Satan! We return your FILTHY creatures back to the pits of Hell!" she called as she raised her torch while Striker, Millie, Blitzo, and Seth struggled to free themselves. "May the root of evil remain honored as we continue thy WORK!"
Martha grunted as she tossed the torch to the ground, where it landed under Blitzo, Seth, Striker, and Millie, followed by evil laughter. The flames rose up around the imps, but they remained unharmed.
Blitzo snorted. "Yeah, that's not exactly how it works, lady. Sorry, your fire doesn't really hurt us, but I mean, I could fake it if that'll get your dick hard." He, Millie, Striker, and Seth smirked.
"Blitz, you know she's a-" Seth couldn't help, but remind him.
"You'll get it when you're older, boy," Striker cut him off.
Martha stared at them in confusion. "Oh. Shit." She rolled her eyes. "Well…" She grinned manically as she pulled out her rifle. "I'll just shoot you in your smart-ass mouth!"
"That would be more effective," Blitzo commented.
"Blitzo!" Striker, Seth, and Millie glared at him.
Martha cackled evilly once more as she aimed her rifle at the imps. All imps closed their eyes and flinched as they waited for death to approach them. A yelp followed. Then a gunshot was heard, but thankfully none of the imps were shot. They slowly opened their eyes to see two eye sockets flying out of Martha's head from none other than…
"Moxxie!" Millie cried happily.
"Kore!" Striker called.
"Mom!"
Moxxie and Kore went to untie the rope, freeing Seth, Striker, Millie, and Blitzo.
"You're not gettin' your goddamn paycheck for this one, Mox!" Blitzo lectured and to Kore, he added gratefully, "And good work, Kore."
"Thanks, Blitz."
Blitzo collapsed. Once Moxxie and Kore cut them free, Moxxie and Millie smiled at each other and embraced with Eskimo kisses. Kore went to hug her husband and son.
Ralphie tripped backwards on Martha's body and ran away from the scene.
"Oh, yeah, thanks! I'm fiiiiiiine!" Blitzo snapped sarcastically.
Moxxie helped Blitzo up and supported him.
"I'm sorry, sir," Moxxie apologized, "I compromised our objective and put us in harm's way. It won't happen again. I promise."
Blitzo pulled Moxxie into an embrace.
"Apology accepted."
Kore and Seth read Moxxie's terrified gaze as Blitzo spoke threateningly to him before he let go.
"Alrighty! Job well done! Now let's get off."
"Finally," Striker breathed a sigh of relief since he was ready to go back home.
Blitzo pulled out a phone from his chest.
"Loonaaaa! We're ready to come home, dear!" He spoke on the phone loudly.
Just then, the portal appeared and Blitzo quickly jumped in.
Millie went to comfort her husband. "You doin' okay, sweetie?" she asked.
"Better now, honey," Moxxie said, "I think I just needed a minute to process."
His wife touched his chest. "You have a good heart, honey." She playfully pinched his nose, adding, "Just a fuzzy head." She kissed him and he smiled lovingly at her.
Seth and Kore hugged Moxxie before entering the portal back to the office. Then he followed.
…
Mrs. Mayberry, I.M.P. 's client, the imps, and Loona were celebrating their victory. A white banner above them read "Killed the Bitch" in red letters. Loona and Mrs. Mayberry were holding slices of cake on their plates. "We did it! :)" was written on the cake in light blue icing. Blitzo had his arm in a sling. Everyone wore party hats. Everyone laughed and cheered except Moxxie, who sat with a distressed look on his face.
"Ahhh, did you see my little Mox-Mox?" Millie asked cheerfully.
"Yaaaaaay!" Mrs. Mayberry cheered.
"Ohhhh, yeah!" Blitzo joined in the cheer.
Millie pulled Moxxie in a hug. "We did it! Oh, Moxxie!"
"Well, here's to another mission accomplished! And Moxxie finally learned not to fuck up," Blitzo announced.
Millie rubbed Moxxie's head. "And killin' people isn't that big of a deal if they try to kill you back!"
"That's messed up," Mrs. Mayberry pointed out with a confused frown, then smiled again, "But I paid for it!"
Everyone laughed, except Moxxie and Blitzo raised a fist.
"Yeah, fuck that family!" Blitzo said.
Moxxie left the room, with a slice of cake in a different room, glumly wallowing in his cake, but little did he know that a mother and son followed him.
"Hey, Mox," a young voice said.
"Seth?" Moxxie shot up at the voice.
"Hey, don't let tonight get you down," Seth returned as he sat next to him and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sure you'll do better next time."
"Seth's right," his mother said, putting a hand on Moxxie's other shoulder as she sat down. "Not all humans are bad. We just kill the ones that deserve it, who happen to be our targets."
Moxxie sighed as he looked up at them and smiled. "Thanks, guys." Then, he, mother, and son, went back to join the group, celebrating the psycho lady's death.
