Hey welcome to this story! I started writing this 3 years ago and then only wrote it from like September-October each year, but this year I finally tied up the loose ends and edited it all so now it's all ready just in time for some Halloween prep! Halloween and ghost stories are not something I ever write. I tried my best to make it scary and creepy but it's nothing crazy. I've never seen a horror movie in my life so I don't have much experience in that department haha. Enjoy! Review?...

Oh yeah also the chapters are probably just going to be short but I'll post them often don't worry.

"Okay, you guys have been here a while, we can be done for the day. Thanks for coming for a late practice, go get dressed and get some sleep," Rudy said.

The kids nodded and walked off to the locker rooms to change. It was almost 10 and Kim hadn't been getting a ton of sleep recently. With that and karate, she was very tired and moved extra slow, taking every opportunity to close her eyes as she changed.

The boys, tired as well, instead changed faster than normal so they could get home sooner. Within 3 minutes they were all out and done and waiting for Kim. Rudy walked out of his office and started to lock up.

"Are you guys okay?" he asked.

"Yeah, just waiting on Kim. We can lock up for you so you can go, Rudy," Jack said.

"Okay, thanks, Jack. Don't forget to lock the doors!" He shouted as he walked out.

Jack walked to the girls' locker room door and knocked. "Are you almost done, Kim?" he asked.

"Yeah," Kim replied tiredly. "You don't have to wait for me," she called.

"You heard her, let's go," Milton said.

"Guys, we can't just leave her here. I told Rudy I'd lock up," Jack said.

"Yeah, but Kim is so slow changing," Jerry said. "Besides, she just wants to go home, I'm hungry and Phil's closes in half an hour. It's now or never."

"I guess I could lock up after Phil's," Jack said.

"Yeah, let's go!" Milton said.

The boys all grabbed their stuff and got a quick late-night snack at Phil's. After they ate, Jerry and Milton went home and Jack walked back to the dojo to turn off the lights. When Jack walked in he tripped over a dummy that was in the middle of the mats. He caught himself before he fell, but he couldn't stop the loud crash as the dummy fell to the floor. Jack picked the dummy up and put it away before he turned off the main lights. Just as he was about to lock the door, he noticed a light shining underneath the girl's locker room.

Kim must have forgotten to turn off the lights when she left, he thought. He walked back into the dojo and to the girls' locker room. Before he could open the door, however, there was a horrible scream.

"Kim!" Jack yelled. He ran to the door and heard Kim struggling to open it from the other side.

Kim screamed again and Jack threw his body at the door. When Kim screamed a third time, Jack pushed himself off the back wall and ran into the door as hard as he could. It burst open and Jack fell onto something lumpy. He looked down and quickly crawled off Kim.

Her face was decorated with tear steaks and she looked completely terrified. She didn't seem to be aware of everything going on. "Where'd it go?" she muttered. She looked around frantically. "Where did it go!"

Jack grabbed Kim's shoulder and pulled her up to face him. "Kim! Where did what go?"

Kim didn't answer him and kept repeating the same question. "Where did it go!"

"Kim!" Jack said sternly. "Calm down. Where did what go? What's wrong, Kim? What happened? Why were you screaming?"

Kim looked into Jack's eyes fearfully. "The ghost," she said.

"Ghost?" Jack asked. "What do you mean… ghost?"

"T-there was a ghost. It's hiding somewhere!" Kim started to shake and look around again.

"Kim," Jack tried. She didn't respond. Jack grabbed her arms and pulled her up. Her legs went limp and Jack had to physically carry Kim out of the locker room.

He sat them both down on the floor by the mats and tried to warm Kim up. "Kim, what do you mean there was a ghost? What did you see?" Jack asked.

"There was a girl, Jack. Sh-she was white and floating and she knew my name," Kim explained. "I just fell asleep after practice and then a loud crash outside woke me up and suddenly she was there!"

"Are you sure you really saw a ghost? I mean you said you just woke up, maybe you imagined it?" Jack suggested.

Kim shook her head. "I know what I saw, it wasn't a dream."

"If it wasn't a dream, what did she want?" Jack asked.

"She didn't say that much, it looked like she was bloody and she came out of nowhere. All she said was 'get out while you can'. She kept chanting it over and over again. And she kept disappearing and then reappearing even closer. As soon as you came in she disappeared," Kim said.

"Listen, why don't I walk home with you and we can see if this ghost is still around in the morning? After you've gotten a good night's rest. Okay?" Jack asked.

Kim nodded.

"Okay, then grab your stuff, let's go."

Kim grabbed her bag and walked out. She thought Jack would be right behind her but when she looked back he walked over to the locker room to turn off the lights. She didn't want to be outside alone so she tried to open the door.

Before she could grab the handle, the same voice from before screamed at her. "No! You can't go in! You can't go back!" Kim looked around frantically for a person or the ghost or anybody, but nobody was there. She tried to open the door again and the voice was even stronger. "No! You can't go back! They'll hurt you!"

Kim was in full panic mode and started to bang on the door to get Jack's attention. He came running out of the locker room and ran to the door. As soon as he appeared in the doorway, the door opened and Kim lost her footing as she stumbled into the dojo.

"What happened, Kim?" Jack asked worriedly.

"I don't know. The girl was back, but I don't know where she is. It was just her voice. She wouldn't let me in and she said I couldn't go in and she said 'they'll hurt you' but then when you came in it was like nothing had ever happened and it was gone!" Kim explained.

"I think we need Milton's help on this one. Maybe he can help us explain what is going on. In the meantime, I'll walk home with you and make sure you aren't alone with this ghost thing."

was it okay?
