Stay Together for the Kids

Disclaimer: I do not own Dragon Ball Z or its characters

It's hard to wake up, when the shades have been pulled shut

{Scene starts with Mirai Trunks waking up and getting out of bed. He sighs with annoyance and shakes his head}

This house is haunted it's so pathetic it makes no sense at all

{Trunks walks into the kitchen to find Bulma and Vegita screaming at each other.}

I'm ripe with things to say the words rot and fall away

{Trunks opens his mouth to speak, but says nothing, knowing he'll be ignored}

What stupid poem could fix this home, I'd read it every day

{Trunks lowers his head, sighs again, and walks away}

So here's your holiday

{Trunks is laying on his bed, sobbing because he's sick of his parents' constant fighting}

{Scene goes to the band playing}

Hope you enjoy it this time, you gave it all away

It was mine

So when you're dead and gone, will you remember this night, twenty years now lost?

It's not right

Their anger hurts my ears

{Trunks takes his pillow and puts it over his head}

Been running strong for seven years

{Trunks gets up angrily and walks back into the kitchen with plans at forcing them to shut the fuck up}

Rather than fix the problems, they never solve them, it makes no sense at all

{Bulma and Vegita scream, "STAY OUT OF THIS!" when Trunks tries to break up the argument}

I see them every day

We get along so why can't they?

If this is what he wants, and it's what she wants, then why is there so much pain?

{Trunks backs away slowly in seeing the look his father gave him}

{The scene goes to the band playing}

So here's your holiday

Hope you enjoy it this time, you gave it all away

It was mine
