Touma sits on his knees, tears streaming down his face. Even with his hand he wasn't strong enough to save any of his friends and now they're all dead, index, style, Kaori, accelerator, the little sisters, all the nuns. Everyone he had ever gotten close to had been killed. He hold the body of young girl in arms, her limbs limp and her eyes empty. The body of his now dead first girlfriend Misaka Mikoto, after the othinus incident he ran into her on the street.

After that they go on a date, holding hands the whole time. After a few hours they both got tired so they sat on a bench, her laying her head on his shoulder. They just sat there watching people go about there enjoying each others company
Before he can react someone delivers a blow to the back of his head and causes him to fall to to the ground
Mikoto, I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you Touma thinks to himself
He briefly sees a green shape though its too blurry to make out before he looses consciousness and begins to dream. Meanwhile the assailant picks up the now unconscious Touma and carries him away leaving Mikoto where dropped her.
