Sup guys, Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Sonic. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Sonic; Sega and a few others do.

The blue blur continued to have gotten faster and faster and faster. It was after all in his name. He continued to zoom forward as he barely stopped to have gotten his speed up. He wasn't even winded for a few seconds. It made him grin as he climbed to the top of the cliff and looked down upon the vast plains and open meadows. He took a deep breath.

"Mmm…" The Hedgehog yawned before he leaned against the stone behind him. "Man, this is something else." The hedgehog said before he cracked his fingers.

He hadn't a proper problem with it. This was a lot nicer than it had been before now. He smirked, crossing his arms before he looked at them with such interest.

"Sonic!" The blue hedgehog yelled before he turned and looked at the rest of the plains. "Hey, there's something I just picked up… Yacker responded." Tails stated before he clicked his tongue.

Sonic turned, opening his eyes as he hummed, tapping his foot on the ground in amusement. The wisps had come back? Cool, it had been a few hours since they had been here.

"Sonic?" Tails asked as he flew up the hill towards the hedgehog. "What are you thinking about? You look… Tired." Tails asked to which Sonic feigned the pain for now.

"Ok… I get it." Tails muttered as he sighed, too amused more than anything. "If you're going to joke about it? Don't you even want to know what Yacker told me?" Tails asked as he held up the device he had used to constantly interact with the Wisps.

Sonic sighed to himself as he realized for a fact that he'd have to put up with the device constantly not working the second he needed it to. It made sense, but it was also utterly ridiculous at the same time to where he hadn't gotten a single word from them that he could understand.

It had been something that had yet to be a problem that had been all over. They had to get to the top of the ladder sooner or later.

"We need to get going if we're going to meet them, Sonic." Tails said before a strange light lit up the entire sky.

Sonic brought a hand to his face as this happened. He was unsure of what the burst of fire was. After all? He was no Tails, however. He had a feeling he could tell what it was just a few seconds later.

"I think I might know who that is…" Sonic said before zipping off so fast that there was an afterimage left in its place.

He didn't even pause, leaving Tails dumbstruck for a few seconds as he blinked, staring off into the distance as he did so. Sonic was always quick to rush to the rescue, but now? he didn't know what had gotten into the hedgehog that he had run off so fast that it left a massive sound wave echoing across everything.

(Vacuum of space)

To Eggman? As much as he loathed to admit it? Sonic was one of the most impressive enemies. The Hedgehog was faced with a collapsing space station that had been slowly dragged into a black hole. And how did he handle it? by OUTRUNNING the death of light and a collapsing star. While Eggman barely survived with the few remains of Hyper Go on Energy he had left in his Egg mobile? The last he had seen of Sonic was him running DOWN the space elevator as it was ripped apart piece by piece.

Outrunning a black hole…. Eggman loathed it, but he knew that if a collapsing star was something that could match. He had hit the end of his rope at how to possibly match him. No force in the galaxy could handle such a thing.

"Uh… Boss?" Cubot questioned to which Eggman looked over his shoulder to see a massive warship… One larger than even his Death Egg.

And it pulled him with a tractor beam… Eggman sighed and accepted that today was just not his day.

What he didn't know was that in actuality. It was. It was to be sooner or later.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out I made this right after beating Sonic Colors… And yes. I will be changing some things like showing the next chapter who is coming. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will show Sonic meeting an old face. A new face, and a new version of his deadliest enemy. Until the 900–6500-word chapter that will show the end of Sonic colors here.
