Chapter 1: Expelled

Lady and Lord hightail, Principal Pincus and Hotspur were at the academy's assembly. Pincus was explaining her roles and responsibilities at the academy. Then she told them about how Freddy befriended Scarlet and how Freddy was informed by Scarlet the the Hunters were coming which aloud Freed to relayed this warring to Pincus, resulting in Pincus leaving school grounds to help out the night patrol.

Pincus: "So If I didn't get out there to warn the night patrol, they might as well been gone"

Hotspur: "You disgrace! What In Howlington's name would put you in a position to WARN them! You were supposed to take care of the STUDENTS!"

Lord hightail: "your actions and lack of responsibility including having the students leaving the school grounds has bought judgement upon yourself and the academy, "

Pincus: "yes I agree that my students took risky choices but without their help we would have been in a much worst positions"

Lady hightail "yet your students would have been in a safer position had you you made wiser choices Miss Pincus"

Pincus sigh and moved on to the next topic: "shall we talk about of how Freddy was befriended by Scarlet?"

Lady hightail: "yes, we understand that Freddy befriended the Wolf Hunter, what do you know about her?"

Pincus: "unfortunately, I don't know much about their friendship Lady hightail. I saw became aware of their friendship when Freddy appears on the news with Scarlet exposing us. So I told him that he needed to stop hanging with this young lady because it could put us at great risk. I thought the friendship was over until last night when Freddy warned me about the Wolf Hunters"

Hotspur lost his cool: "NOW you listen to me Mrs Pincus. I will not tolerate Scarlet regardless of her warning about the Wolf Hunters. I will NOT give my thanks to a Wolf Hunter!. I don't care how it is done but I will not have Freddy going near this Hunter!, So do what you have to do to get it done. I don't even freaking believe in any of that, do you understand?"

Pincus just looked him with anger as she responded: "Yes"

Hotspur: "Good, what else did Freddy tell you about?"

Pincus: "Freddy reported that her parents were Hunters to"

Hotspur: "her Parents?"

Pincus: "Yes, she also has a map of wolf sightings. Freddy is on that map"

Hotspur: "Hold There!, A HOWLING map?!"

Hotspur started pacing while he was speaking: "what if she uses this information to track us? What if she is just pretending to help Freddy? We were supposed to be in the shadows not exposed to the public!"

Hotspur stopped pacing and made eye contact with Lady hightail

Lady hightail: "As her parents could still track us by using information from the map, Freddy will have to cease all types of communication with Scarlet and refrain from going near the Hunters. You will need to tell him this Mrs Pincus"

Pincus sighs before answering: "well in that case its settled. I still believe that Scarlet has a heart to understand us and wouldn't tell her parents about Freddy but I will relay your message"

Hotspur stared at all of them in anger as he has nothing more to say.

Freddy was relaxing in his bedroom feeling disappointed about being kicked out of the academy. He felt angry and wronged by his uncle who had expelled him after discovering that he had befriended Scarlet. His uncle had accused him of betraying his friends and family but Freddy was only trying to understand why Scarlet and the Hunters would hunt them.

It reminded him that he should return Scarlet's call. Scarlet had called him on Ivan's phone during his disciplinary meeting with the elders at the academy. Hotspur took it off him and put Scarlet on loud speaker to prove to the elders that he had not ended his friendship with her. This was the nail in the coffin that lead to his expulsion.

Freddy walked to his bedside table which had his doom wolves alarm clock, next to it was his phone protected by it's green case. Freddy took it and dialed the number and waited for her to pick up.

Scarlet picked up: "Hello?"

Freddy: "Hey Scarlet this is Freddy"

Scarlet: "Hey Freddy what happen to you. You were not responding to me and you just ended the call, what was that all about?"

Freddy: "I was in a meeting when you called and my uncle took the phone off Ivan. He put you on loud speaker to prove to the others that you and I were still friends"

Felling concerned Scarlet said: "Oh no, Freddy you have to tell me why your Uncle did that"

Freddy just sigh. He wasn't in the mood to go there, so he replied: "I'm not in a good mood to talk about it now Scarlet. I just want to check on you to see if you are ok and I want to hear what you had to say"

Scarlet: "Freddy Please. I have to know"

Freddy annoyed: "Scarlet please, it's complicated"

Scarlet accepted his request responding: "Fine. You will have to tell me about it when we talk in person. I was calling to see if your pack was safe after last night. I also wanted to know whether you lie and spy on all your friends?"

Freddy: "Everyone is safe, thank you. I wasn't trying to lie to you Scarlet, I didn't want you knowing that I was apart of the pack because I was scared that you would take me down. You could sort of say that I was spying on you but that's only because I wanted to understand you better"

Scarlet: "Ok Freddy, I understand"

Scarlet remained silent for a few seconds and then she said: "Freddy, I have been thinking about this a lot and now I believe everything you have been trying to tell me. I have always been taught, and made to believe that werewolves are cursed and deadly but now I know that it's not true. I'm sorry that I didn't take your word for it earlier"

Freddy: "You're ok Scarlet. I thought I had to lie, otherwise how could I make you understand"

Scarlet calmed: "So Freddy?"

Freddy: "Yeah?"

Scarlet: "You wanna come over to my place and we can talk it out?"

Freddy's Emotions changed from being annoyed to happy: "Sure. Let me get out of house and I will be there soon, Scarlet?"

Scarlet: "yeah?"

Freddy: "what caused you to change your views and help us?"

Scarlet: "Once, I saw you transform. I realised that you were the one who had destroyed my map. I started to think about what you told me in hole. I remembered when your friends saved you from my family but didn't attack me, and I started to think it could be true. You are not like the other wolves scaring and harming people. That's why I helped you"

Freddy: "well I'm glad you did the right thing Scarlet. So you are saying that there are wolves scaring and harming people?"

Scarlet: "yeah I did and they have like, red glowing eyes. Do you know what they are"

Freddy: "yes I do, let me get out of the house and we can talk about it"

Scarlet: "ok. See you later"

Freddy: "bye Scarlet"
