It's time for Josh and Kiara's brand new adventure through the Galar Region, everyone! Since my last story is done, it's time to work on this story. There wasn't much info about Josh and Kiara on the previous stories that I worked on. It will all be revealed in this story. And since this story is an adventure and romance story, this will focus on my OC's with their Pokémon to travel in the Galar Region as they fight Blaze, Team Delta and Reiki. I had an idea where Josh and Kiara visit the Alola Region during the Pokémon Sun and Moon anime but I realized it would be too late since when we get to the end of the season.

So I came up with an idea; after the events in The Alola Pokémon League, Josh and Kiara will travel to the Galar Region to fight Team Delta. They'll discover new Pokémon, new battles and meet new people, but they will discover a secret. A secret so dangerous that may effect Josh, Kiara and a certain person. But I decided to wait for the new Pokémon Sword and Shield anime show to see the new characters with their personality. And now that Pokemon Journey: The Series is out for a while, I think this is the best time to work on this story now.

Now let's get on with the story!

One, Two, Three

Josh, Kiara, Charizard and Gardevoir was standing in the field, looking up at the sky as they feel a gentle breeze.

Hey, is it time, is it time, is it time? Hurry up!

Josh was flying on Charizard's back through the sky.

Are you ready to head out?

Kiara was making sure that they have everything they need.

We don't need a sendoff
To the strange world I want to show you

Josh and Kiara was flying on Mega Rayquza's back high above the world of Pokémon as Mewtwo and Deoxys was flying by.

Be it through fire or through water

I'm fumbling blindly through the days

When I don't even know what the next second will bring

Josh, Kiara, Charizard, Lucario and Gardevoir was traveling through the regions they visit.

Each and every one of my memories

A pink orb was floating above Josh and Kiara's heads. The orb disappeared, revealing Mew.

Can always be found inside a ball

Josh and Kiara looks at each other and nodded before throwing a Poké Ball.

On 1,2,3, dive in!

Mike, Rose and Emma stood watch as Josh, Kiara, Charizard, Gardevoir and Lucario were meditating as Scorbunny, Sobble and Grookey played together.

I've got the future plans I imagined in my pockets

Scorbunny was training with Josh as Sobble, Kiara and Gardevoir was surprised by Grookey's rythm.

Greeting someone new is always fresh

Josh, Kiara and their Pokémon was facing off Blaze and Sir Ricky as Reiki stood on a cliff, battling against a Turnonator.

No need (No need!) to hesistate! Try! (Try!) Let's have a fight!

Charizard flew towards Tyranitar with her Dragon Claw as Scorbunny used Ember on Beedrill while Sobble used Water Gun on Onix.

1: Once The Battle Is Done

Josh and Kiara finished sparring and stares at each other.

Charizard smiled while Scorbunny was trying to cheer up Sobble.

Josh and Kiara were surrounded by their Pokémon, Mike, Emma and Lucia.

Any day and every day, that always been my rule

Josh, Kiara and Lucia were visiting several landmarks and meeting different various Pokémon from the other regions.

With this unpredictable, boundless world waiting

Josh, Kiara and their partner Pokémon were facing Zacian and Zamazenta in a forest.

Let's go! Every time you trip and fall

The three starter Pokemon of Galar were on the ground after they tripped. They all ran to their new friends.

Josh and Kiara smiled as the two of them saw many different Legendary Pokémon.

Josh and Kiara were standing in a grassy field looking up at the sky.

Chapter 1 The New Adventure

It was a beautiful day in Pallet Town. Two trainers and their two Pokémon, Charizard and Gardevoir, were walking towards Professor Oak's lab. It has been two days since the Alola League and now Alola has two champions; Ash and Josh. Josh smiled as they came up to the lab. He knocks on the door a couple times and Professor Oak opens the door.

"Hello Professor Oak." Josh smiles at him.

"Hello, Josh and Kiara." Professor Oak greeted them. The professor let them in his house and closed the door. "So what brings you two here?"

"We came to check on the Pokémon that Kiara and I left in your care." Josh answers him. "I hope they're not causing too much trouble for you, Professor."

"Not at all." Professor Oak said. "Tracey is out in the backyard with the other Pokémon."

"Thank you." Josh said as he and Kiara walks pass the professor.

There was a lot of Pokémon in the backyard. All the Pokémon was resting and enjoying the sun. Josh notice Tracy standing next to Sceptile and Bayleef.

"Hey, Tracey." Josh said walking up to him.

Tracey turned around and smiled. "Hey, Josh." Tracy said. "Hey, Kiara."

"How've you been?" Josh asks him.

"Doing great, Champion of Alola." Tracey answers him.

"I guess you watched the Alola League?" Kiara asked him.

"That's right." Tracey replied. "I've watch the whole thing. Alola has two Champions, a mysterious Pokémon appeared and your Chariazd's appearance."

"I know." Josh said. He heard some footsteps behind him and turns around to see Typhlosion. "Hi Typhlosion."

"Ty." He smiled. Typhlosion steps aside for Pichu, Alakazam, Empoleon and Liepard.

Pichu and Liepard ran towards Josh and tackles him into the ground.

"Stop, that tickles!" Josh cried, feeling Liepard's tounge.

"Pigeot." Pidgeot said, landing next to Kiara.

"Looks like they missed you guys a lot." Tracey smiled.

"I know." Kiara said. "Josh and I have all different Pokémon living in the other regions besides Professor Oak's ranch."

"That's right." Tracey said. "The two of you and Mike set up ranches in the region for your Pokémon to stay with your friends."

"I know." Kiara said. "Let's head back inside to discuss what happened."

Everyone heads back inside the lab as the professor was sitting down in a chair with Tracey standing besides him with Josh and Kiara standing in front of them.

"Let's review of what happened at the Alola League." Professor Oak began.

"A new Pokémon appears out of nowhere and it was a giant." Josh said.

"The Pokémon is a Flying and Steel Type, thanks to Charizard's unexpected appearance." Tracey said.

"Did you catch the name of the Pokémon?" Professor Oak asks Josh.

"It's Coviknight when it cried out during the battle." Josh answered.

"And what was the cause of Charizard's appearance?"

"We think it has something to do with two objects that Josh picked up before the battle." Kiara answered.

"Two objects?" Professor Oak asked.

Josh turns his head to the right to look at Charizard. "Those two objects helped Charizard to defeat that Pokémon." Josh said. "I believe this is Team Delta's dirty work."

"There has been strange events after you arrived on our world." Professor Oak said.

"We've been covering our tracks so the whole world doesn't find out." Josh replied.

"That's true." Professor Oak nodded. "But I believe we can solve the giant Pokémon problem."

"How?" Josh asks him.

"Professor Cerise." Professor Oak smiled.

"Professor Cerise?" Kiara repeated.

"Yes." the professor nodded. "Professor Cerise is a professor who studies Pokémon. He's coming here to help us solve this."

Josh and Kiara heard someone coming up the steps and they turned around. The man was wearing a light blue shirt underneath his white lab coat, blue jeans and gray shoes. He has short maroon hair, green eyes and wearing glasses.

"Hello, everyone." Cerise smiled.

"Hi." Josh greeted him.

"You must be Josh and Kiara." Cerise said.

"Its nice to meet you." Josh said, shaking the professor's hand.

"So Professor, what is that Pokémon that attacked the Alola League?" Kiara asks him.

"Oh, that would be Corviknight." Cerise answered. "It's the Raven Pokémon from the Galar Region."

"The Galar Region?" Josh repeated.

"That's correct." Professor Cerise answered. "My daughter owns a Yamper that comes from the Galar Region as well."

"So what's in the Galar Region?" Kiara asks him.

"I'm glad you asked that." Professor Sakuragi answered. "In the Galar Region, there are new Pokémon has never been seen before and the World Coronation Series."

"The World Coronation Series?" Josh repeated.

"Correct." the professor nodded. "The World Coronation Series is where challengers climbs through the ranks."

"I see." Josh nodded his head.

"Your position is based on your record and performance." the professor explains. "The top eight in the rankings are the Master Class. The top eight fight in a tournament at the end of the season. As for the ranks, all trainers are divided into four classes based off your win or loss ratio. All new trainers who enters will go into the Normal Class. Then trainers in that rank battle each other and the trainers who are rank nine hundred to one hundred will be in the Super Class. Hyper Class is above Super Class for those who are in ninety nine to nine. And above that is the Master Class."

"And what about the giant Pokémon?" Kiara asked.

"Let's just say you may encounter some big surprises." the professor smiled.

"Hm." Josh said, crossing his arms. If the Raven Pokémon came from the Galar Region, then Team Delta will be there, especially Reiki. Team Delta will find a new way for this power to do extremely evil. "Then let's head to Galar." Josh said. "If we head to Galar, we'll meet a lot of new Pokémon and take on the Pokémon World Champion."

"Right." Kiara said, knowing where her friend is going with this. "And we'll stop whatever plan Team Delta have."

"Excellent." Professor Cerise smiled.

Two days later, Josh and Kiara arrived in the Galar Region. They were already on their way to Wedgehurst on the train. Charizard was in her Poké Ball because she'll take up a lot of space. Gardevoir, on the other hand, was not inside her Poké Ball. She was sitting next to Kiara as the two girls were sitting across from Josh as Lucario was sitting with him.

"This Poké Dex is interesting." Josh said, taking a look at the Rotom Phone in his hand.

"I have to hand it to the professor." Kiara said. "He did a pretty good job of it."

"This is going to help us both when we travel here in Galar." Josh smiles, looking up from the phone.

"Look at the fields we're passing by." Kiara said, looking at the window.

Josh turns his head to the window. They were passing by a lot of Pokémon that were in the field. The two trainers notices other Pokémon from the regions they traveled and new Pokémon they've never seen.

Two hours has passed and the train arrived at Wyndon. Josh, Kiara, Lucario and Gardevoir exits the train station. Josh releases Charizard from her Poké Ball so she can enjoy the fresh air with them.

"So this is Wyndon." Josh said.

"It says here on the brochure that Wyndon is famous for the battles that takes place at the end of the season at Wyndon Stadium with special techniques." Kiara said, looking through the brochure.

"Special techniques?" Josh repeated.

"I'm guessing it may have something to with what Professor Cerise said." Kiara wondered. "He said we'll encounter some big surprises."

"Where do you think we should head first?" Josh asked her.

"Let's head over to the scone shop." Kiara answered. "It's the specialty of the Galar Region."

"Sound good." Josh smiled.

They left the train station and walks around Wyndon to find the scone shop. Josh and Kiara found the scone shop near a river.

"Gr." Charizard growled.

"I agree, Charizard." Lucario spoke.

Kiara bought the scones while Josh and Lucario moved another table next to their table so they can all sit down. Everyone thanked Kiara for buying the scones and began to eat.

"This is good." Josh said as he took another bite of his scone.

"Groar." Charizard agreed.

"So Kiara, who's supposed to be meeting us here?" Josh asks after swallowing his scone.

"Sonia, Professor Magnolia's granddaughter." Kiara answered, putting her glass of water back on the table. "That must be her."

Josh turns around to see a girl walking towards them. The girl was wearing blue jeans, green boots, a green shirt underneath a brown jacket and a black hand purse. Her eyes are aqua and her hair is peach.

"Hi." she said to them. "Are you Josh and Kiara?"

"Yes." Kiara answered. "Are you Sonia?"

"Yes." Sonia smiled. "My grandmother told me you were going to be here today." She pulls up a chair and sat down.

"Where is your grandmother?" Josh asks her.

"She's back home looking at the footage of what happened at the Alola League." Sonia answered. "Grandma was surprised to see a Power Spot and a Giangantamax Pokémon to appear there."

"Giagantamax?" Josh looked confused. "Power Spot?"

Sonia takes out a file, opens it and sets it on the table. Josh took a closer look and there were some notes and pictures. He notice in one of the pictures of two Pokémon that was big and recognized them: Machamp and Gengar. But there was new Pokémon that he didn't know and they were big.

"These are my grandmother's research notes and pictures." Sonia said. "In her research is Dynamax and Gigantamax."

"Dynamax?" Kiara repeated.

"Let me explain." Sonia said. "Dynamaxing is a temporary transformation affecting Pokémon that distorts space while affecting the world around them. Trainers can only do this with a Dynamax Band."

"So trainers can Dynamax their Pokémon anytime, right?" Kiara asks her.

"Yes and no." Sonia answered. "You can Dynamax your Pokémon anytime, but you can only do that in a Power Spot."

"So where do we find these Power Spots?" Josh asked.

"You can find them in the Wild Area and the Gyms." Sonia smiled, looking at him. "You can't find a Power Spot in another region except Galar."

"Interesting." Kiara said. "So what is Gigantamax?"

"Gigantamax is a special transformation." Sonia answered, looking at Kiara. "Giagantamaxing a Pokémon will increase its size drastically and these Pokémon will have Dynamax Moves and G-Max Moves."

Josh and Kiara looked confuse of what Sonia said.

"When a Pokémon Dynamax, their moves change and will have different effects during a battle." Sonia continues to explain. "For Example, Normal Type Moves will become a Normal Max Move."

"Okay." Josh nodded. "And what about these G-Max Moves?"

"G-Max Moves is different from Max Moves." Sonia answered, taking out a picture of a Giganta Max Charizard. "Only Gigantamax Pokémon can use G-Max Moves and regular Dynamax Pokémon can't use them."

"Nice." Josh said.

"If you want a Pokémon to Dynamax or Gigantamax, return it to the Poké Ball and then fill the ball with power from a Dynamax Band before throwing it." Sonia continued, taking out two Dynamax Bands. "Pokémon Trainers uses these Dynamax Bands to control the Dynamax Energy."

"Interesting." Lucario nodded.

"Once a Pokémon Dynamax, you only have three moves to attack or guard before a Pokémon goes back to normal." Sonia finished.

"Amazing." Josh smiled. "Is it alright if we borrow them, Sonia?"

"Yes." Sonia nodded as she hands over the two bands to the two trainers.

"Thank you Sonia." Kiara thanks her as she slips the band on her right wrist.

"You're welcome." Sonia said. "I have to say, things are really getting interesting with a vampire and a werewolf in the Slumbering Weald."

"What do you mean?" Josh asks her.

"There's been a vampire and a werewolf living in the Slumbering Weald." Sonia explains. "A Pokémon Poacher went in Slumbering Weald and two days later, there was a howl and the poacher ran like something scared him."

"Whatever it is, Kiara and I can look into it." Josh smiled.

"Thanks." Sonia thanked him.

Josh, Kiara and their Pokémon left with Sonia and arrived at Postwick. "I'm going to head to the hotel and give my grandmother an update of what's going on." Sonia said.

"Okay." Josh nodded.

"And be safe." Sonia added.

"We will." Josh said.

Sonia nodded and turns around before walking away.

"Let's go." Josh said to Kiara.

Josh, Kiara, Charizard and Lucario headed to Slumbering Weald. They entered the forest. There was some fog in the forest. All of a sudden, a wild squirrel-like Pokémon pops out of the grass right behind them. The Wild Pokemon runs past them and jumps behind a bush.

"What was that?" Josh wondered.

Two more runs past them. The squirrel's fur is grayshish-brown. They stop in front of the bush and started picking a couple of berries. Josh takes out his Rotom Phone.

"Skwovet. The Cheeky Pokémon. Found throughout the Galar region, this Pokémon becomes uneasy if its cheeks are ever completely empty of berries. It eats berries nonstop—a habit that has made it more resilient than it looks. It'll show up on farms, searching for yet more berries."

"Interesting." Josh said. "I like to see this."

"Come on." Kiara smiled.

The two of them and their Pokémon followed the Skwovet without being seen. Josh and Kiara knelt down behind some bushes with Lucario and Gardevoir. Charizard was hiding behind a big tree trunk that was next to Josh. The three Skwovet jumps out of a bush and notices several berries that were on some leaves on the ground. Josh turns his head to the right to Kiara.

"Something is not right." Josh whispered to her.

"I think you're right." Kiara whispered back as she continues to watch.

The three Pokémon ran up to the berries and picks them up. Then all of a sudden, a cage fell and trap the squirrel Pokémon.

"All too easy." a voice said. A brown beard man steps out from behind a tree. He was wearing a long sleeve green shirt, brown pants and black boots. "I knew you would be coming for these berries."

Another man walks out from behind the tree. His hair is short black and his eyes are red. He was wearing the same clothes as the other man.

"Stupid rodents." the second man snickered.

As the two Pokémon Poachers walked up to the captured Pokémon, a burning pebble and a jet of water hits them.

"Whoa!" Josh said amazed.

"Look!" Kiara pointed.

The two poachers turns around and notices two Pokémon standing several feet away. The first Pokémon is a rabbit-like Pokémon that has a predominantly white body with orange and yellow markings on its ears, toes, and neck. It has buckteeth, an orange nose and irises, as well as a yellow band shape across its nose, resembling a bandage. It has long legs with long feet and the same yellow band on its nose under each paw pad.

"Scor." it smiled.

The second one is a small Pokémon that has light blue skin with darker teal patches and a lighter blue belly and face. It has similar teal eyes with white pupils and sclerae. It also has a yellow fin-like protrusion from the top of its head bordered in dark blue, as well as a curled blue tail tipped in the same dark blue. It has thin limbs, each ending in two thin appendages.

"Sobble." it said.

"Let's move." Josh said to Kiara. The two of them ran out of their hiding spot as Lucario, Gardevoir and Charizard followed pursuit. "Release those three Skwovet, now!"

"Who are you?!" Kiara growled.

"My name is Archie, and this is my friend Jimmy." Archie answered. "And we're not going to release these Skwovet. Besides, we trap them to lure that Scorbunny and Sobble out in the open so we can sell them."

"Guess again!" Josh snarls at him. "You're not going to take them!"

Before they can battle, a huge pure white werewolf lands in front of them. The white werewolf was at Charizard's height. The tail was moving side to side. The two men was in shocked.

"What is that?" Archie asked as he was scared.

"Howl!" the werewolf roars powerfully.

The two poachers screamed in terror and they ran for their lives. Josh walks over to the cage. "Step away from the bars." He said to the Skwovet.

The three squirrel Pokémon backs away from the bars. Josh knelt in front of the cage. His right hand was covered in flames and cuts a few bars. "You're free." Josh said to them.

The Skovet exits the cage and thanks them before leaving. Josh turns around to face the werewolf. The werewolf turns around and stares at him with blue eyes. He suddenly recognize the werewolf. "Emma?" Josh asked.

"Josh?" Emma asked surprised. "Kiara?"

"Emma!" Kiara exclaims, giving the werewolf a hug.

"It's so good to see you two again." Emma smiled as Kiara lets go of her.

"We haven't seen you since the Wild Race." Kiara said.

"I know." Emma nodded. "So what happen to you guys?"

"We made a lot of new friends." Josh answered, looking back at the Pokémon.

"Groar." Charizard said.

"Same here." Emma said. "I have to go. I want to make sure those poachers are out of this forest." She smiled before leaping onto a branch and disappeared.

"Hm?" Josh wondered, turning around. He felt like someone or something is watching them.

"Josh, what is it?" Kiara asks him.

"I have the feeling we're being watch." Josh answered.

Emma was standing on a branch, watching the two poachers fleeing the forest.

"There you are." a voice said.

Emma turns around to see a young woman standing behind her. The young woman has long black hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and pink sneakers.

"Lucia." Emma said. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to make sure that you took care of the poachers." Lucia answered.

"Don't worry about it." Emma smiled. "Those poachers were running scared from me. On the bright side, I met up with a couple of friends."

"Old friends"?" Lucia repeated.

"Yes." Emma nodded. "They're still here after I scared those two poachers."

"Perhaps I should pay them a visit." Lucia said with a small growl. She turns around and hops across each branch.

As Emma began to follow, four mysterious figures were watching from the fog. The four of them began to disappear within the fog itself. There was no trace of them when they disappeared. Whatever they are, the four of them will be ready when the time is right.
