Platform 9 ¾? There was no platform 9 ¾! There was only a solid barrier! How was I
supposed to get through? Was I supposed to walk through the barrier? Crazy
thought,but this was the wizarding world…I had to try.
Sure enough,that was the way to get through. The platform was hectic. There were
people running EVERYWHERE, and right in the middle of it all was a large red train
bearing the words "Hogwarts Express" in large, curvy gold writing. I borded the train and
sat alone in a compartment. Some hours later, three boys burst in. One of them looked
at me and said:
" Oh,we're sorry. We didn't think there was anyone was sitting in here. May we sit
down?" I simply nodded and the threesome sat down. Another boy glanced at me and
grinned. "Well, I guess we better introduce ourselves. I'm Sirius Black, that's James
Potter, and that's Peter Pettigrew. What's your name?" "I'm Remus Lupin. Yeah,that's
right." "Well,hello, Remus. Is this your first year at Hogwarts?" "Yeah, I'm a first year."
Sirius laughed when I said this. "We are too. I hear they've got some awsome classes!"
James smirked. "Yeah,and probably some awesome work, too!" Sirius punched James
lightly in the arm and looked at me, "Just ignore James, he's a little on the slow side." I
grinned at him.. "Acutally? I agree with him!" Peter, who had been looking out the
window all this time, finally perked up and looked at us. "Hey,look guys,there's
Hogwarts!" We all changed into our robes and got off the train.
