While a party for Ritsuka's 20 years is held at Chaldea, a mysterious figure arrives at the organization, with not so good intentions.

Everyone was happy and celebrating. After the hardships that Chaldea went through during the Lostbelts, humanity had returned to normal and the world as well. With that, they finally took time to do something that they hadn't done in a long time, have a birthday party for Ritsuka, the Master of Chaldea.

Now, with him finally being of age to drink, Gilgamesh did everyone the favor of providing them with some of the finest wine in Uruk. Everyone was enjoying the night, partying and dancing, until.

"Director Goredolf, a helicopter has landed outside of the installations!" - Meneurie's voice passed through all of Chaldea.

"Did we have a visit from the Mage Association or the Wandering Sea?" - Ritsuka asked if Sion had come to wish him a happy birthday.

"None that I recall. Meneurie, do you see it?" - the director asked.

"Y-Yeah! Someone is getting outside... It's a woman!" -

The Servants started to question the identity of the mysterious woman and her reasons to come to Chaldea.

At Goredolf's orders, a screen with the image of the woman was flashed in front of everyone. She seemed a fairly normal person, she was wearing a silver business suit with an amethyst necklace, in her right hand a ring with a strange black jewel. No one thought much, but...

"Senpai? Why are you trembling?" - Mash asked. Ritsuka was looking at the image, unable to move, yet not only couldn't he stop trembling, he was sweating cold. All of the sudden, the image changed to static and when they recovered it, the woman and the helicopter were gone.

Next thing they knew, they heard footsteps heading towards the dining hall. They weren't rushed, but rather calm. The door opened, and that same woman entered, seemingly ignoring the Servants around her. Now, they could finally see her better, she had long blonde hair all the way to her lower back, crimson eyes and a rather big height, at 2.20 meters.

"Lady, you have no right to be here! Chaldea belongs to..!" -

"Old man, I could buy this entire organization 5 times over and it wouldn't even dent my wallet. Here, I speak, and you listen" - she said, in an intimidating tone of voice.

"Who are you? How did you got here?" - Da Vinci asked as she covered Ritsuka.

"That is none of your business... Ah, why are you hiding behind them? Come and see me, it's been a while" - she spoke in a rather maternal tone of voice towards one person... Ritsuka.

The boy, nervous but determined, went out of hiding behind his Servants and saw the woman face to face.

"You shouldn't be here" -

"My, that's a rather cold way to talk, why aren't you...?" -

"Don't say one more word, and answer this... Why do you have my mother's face?" -

The silence that followed was deafening, but the woman, seemingly unbothered, answered.

"I thought my son could recognize his own mother, but I guess that's too much to ask" -

"You're not my real mother" -

"How can you be so sure?" -

"Because my mom died in a car accident with my dad 13 years ago!" -

She said nothing, just stared down at Ritsuka.

"So... It happened here too" -

"It... What?" -

"Allow me to explain. I come from another world, another earth, there... There was a car accident in 2008, my husband and son both died in that accident, the child that died, my child... Was you" -

Ritsuka's mind couldn't comprehend what was going on, it was absolutely crazy, even for him.

"Just... Who are you?" -

"You know that answer already, don't you? My name is Shirona Fujimaru, even though I'm from another world... I am your mother, dear Ritsu" -

Chaldea's Servants could do nothing but stare directly at the woman, dumbfounded about what they learned, not even the Clairvoyance of the Gils could see what would happen next.

"If you're from another world... Why come here? Why did you..?" -

"Because I need you. All these years after your death, I was consumed by sadness and guilt. I delved into subjects that would drive most mad in search of a way to bring you to life and that's where I found it... No, not 'it', I found THEM, the Beyond" -

Despite none of the Servants knowing what she meant, Abby and the other Foreigners immediately flinched after hearing that.

"Normal people would go crazy by simply looking at them, but I? I gazed into that abyss, I took the abyss, and made it my own. Such a foolish entity, just like humans they could be swayed by greed and envy. Years I spent preparing a trap and finally, it worked, the power of those beyond the boundary was mine! I tried to bring you back to life, but your soul was already lost to time, but there was a simpler way... With their power, the barriers between worlds meant nothing to me!" -

"You... Risked your mind, your sanity... For me?" -

"Indeed I did, a mother needs her son after all, which brings me to my next point. You, the old man!" - she said, pointing at Goredolf - "I want to buy Chaldea, I'll give you 3 times the amount of money it costs normally" -

"What the hell!?" -

"Mother!" -

"W-Wait! Chaldea is not for sale! This place is where the people I trust the most are! I'm not going to give them away to a woman who we barely just met!" -

"You say that, but surely there must be..." -

"There won't be any sales, Chaldea won't go with you" -

"Really? What a shame, I was hoping we could avoid doing it the hard way, but I have no choice then" -

The Servants took this as a threat and prepared to attack, yet... They couldn't move, they were frozen, same with Goredolf, Ritsuka was the only one unaffected.

He reacted as fast as he could and tried to punch his 'mother' but she dodged at such a speed that to him, she looked like she was teleporting.

"What a bad child, trying to punch his mother, allow me to teach you some respect" -

With that word and a quick move, Ritsuka fell to the ground in pain, she broke his arm. Next thing he knew, a portal opened in front of him, his Servants still frozen and unable to help him.

"I promise my child, Arcana will be the place of your dreams..." - with those words, Shirona took Ritsuka and crossed the portal, disappearing from Chaldea.

"It is time for the queen to awaken from her slumber."

After the fall of the foreign god, the barriers weaken and worlds collide.

An old face arrives, bringing with her a nexus between two worlds.

This will be the fiercest battle yet!

A clash of mystical forces in a world where horrors have taken over.

What awaits at the end of all this is, without a doubt ...
