Sayuri let out a sigh as she sat down in her virtual gaming chair in her living room. Today was the final day of her favourite DMMO-RPG YGGDRASIL, a game she had spent 12 long years playing and sunk an untold amount of hours and money.

She didn't care about the money. Her family had more money than they knew what to do with. It was the loss of her friends that bothered her the most. As one of the wealthiest families in the country, she had never had real friends that didn't care about her money, but the people of Ainz Ooal Gown didn't care and welcomed her with open arms.

Sayuri grunted as she shook her head and put the bad memories away. There would be time for that once the game servers closed.

She went to her computer and put on her Virtual Headset. Playing the Game Yggdrasil was the only thing she still enjoyed as it brought back her most cherished memories. Even with most of Ainz Ooal Gowns members having long left the game, Sayuri still continued on with it.

Starting the Game, Sayuri's surroundings turned black for a moment.

Olga Discordia, the Avatar of Sayuri, opened her eyes. Lounging back on her throne in her palace on the sixth level of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Olga smirked as she looked over her body.

She absolutely loved the character from the moment she first saw her, and there was no way she wouldn't model herself after her, not to mention she loved Elves.

Although Sayuri wouldn't ever say it in public as that wasn't expected or acceptable for a girl of her station, she was a massive perv, only beaten by Peroronchino, and she was over the moon when she learned that Bukubukuchagama was the voice actor for Olga.

Deciding to go and see if any other member of Ainz Ooal Gown was present in the Throne-room she walked through her palace. She got a smile on her face as she walked past her Elf NPCs.

Her entire palace had a staff of a hundred Dark Elves and a hundred Wood-Elves. Granted, most only had a level of 5 as they only served as Maids to her Palace. She had also bought many male elf NPCs to act as guards.

Still, aside from her female elf maids and male elf guards, she also had created a core group of more powerful NPCs for different purposes.

Coming to the entrance of her palace, Olga smiled as she saw one of the core NPCs.

"Hello, Tanya. Any Intruders insight?" She knew there wasn't, but it made them feel more alive when she talked to them, and in the last year, she had talked to them a lot.

The blond-haired Loli NPC in Military Uniform saluted at Olga like programmed and responded in a serious tone.

"No Intruders today, My Queen."

Olga smirked at her NPC, Tanya von Degurechaff, before patting her head a bit.

"Good work Tanya. I will be going to the Throne-room and leave you to your work for now."

The NPC responded to the trigger words "Good work Tanya" and moved out of her salute to take up her Guard position again. Olga looked at Tanya wistfully and sighed, and she would miss her NPCs once the game shut down today.

Tanya came from one of her favourite old animes, and it was a big shame that the NPC couldn't act like the anime version of herself. Tanya had a total of 80 levels, but most were in job classes like Commander and Sergeant, so her real combat strength was only around lvl 52.

Most of her core NPC were the same. They had high levels, but most were in production-oriented job classes or a few magic ones like Cleric, Alchemist or enchanter. It was costly to add such classes to NPCs, but when your character could only have a total of 100 levels, you either sacrifice racial levels or job classes.

If you took more racial levels, then you would gain access to more spells and racial traits at the cost of having fewer job classes so you may not be able to craft the top-tier potions or weapons.

In concept, it wasn't a bad system as it would allow some people to be blacksmiths and create divine weapons while others could be traders meaning guilds would have to pull many different types of players unless they wanted to buy things like potions and buff items.

By allowing you to buy production jobs for NPC's, the entire system became nothing more than a way to get more money out of players. Still, Sayuri didn't care, so besides three NPCs with an actual combat strength of level 100 and level 85, all her other NPCs were no stronger than a lvl 40 to 55 player.

In fact, they were not even as strong as that as players could think and plan out attacks and react, whereas NPCs couldn't, but they were a good line of defence nonetheless. Almost all of her NPCs came from either anime or movies.

Olga didn't bother looking at the list of guild members that were logged in. She knew that it would be just her and Momonga. Maybe someone logged in at some point today, but the guild was dead at this point, and Momonga and Olga only kept it running for the memories.

She walked out and headed to the guild throne room, which is where she was sure Momonga would be, and she decided to walk slowly to take in the view of the guild base one last time before it would be lost forever.

As she guessed, Momonga was indeed in the throne room and sat on the throne that was reserved for the head of the guild. Olga could agree that Momonga did make a good guild head. He was likeable and was good at getting people to talk and solve problems, but as for leading raids or PVP events, that was something that he wasn't very good at.

Not that Olga blamed him. He was just an average person who liked to play games. He hadn't been raised since birth on how to order people about or run a business empire.

"Momonga, so this is where you've been hiding," Olga said, walking up to him.

Olga saw that the Pleiades battle maids were all kneeling with Sebas off to the left, and Olga noticed that Momonga was wielding the guild staff, something that was usually forbidden because if it was taken, then the guild base would be taken. Still, seeing as the game is ending in 10 minutes, Olga guessed it made no difference.

"You missed HeroHero. He logged off a few minutes ago in the meeting room," Momonga said as he looked around the room, no doubt lost in memory.

"Shame. Though slimes have always given me the creeps," Olga said and gave a pretend to shiver, which Momonga rolled his eyes about inwardly.

Olga had been great friends with Bukubukuchagama due to their shared liking of Elves, and she was Olga's favourite voice artist, and she had never been bothered by Bukubukuchagama's appearance.

Next to Momonga was one of Olga's favourite NPCs outside of her own. She was a breathtakingly beautiful woman who was wearing a pure white dress and had a faint calming smile. In the real world, she would be regarded as a world-class beauty. Given the social circle she had grown up in, who spent millions on looking beautiful, she felt she was a good judge for world-class beauty.

However, a pair of curved horns sprouted from the sides of her head, and a pair of black feathered wings sprouted from her waist. Olga guessed it was the wings and horns that gave away that the smile she wore was nothing more than a mask.

She wore a golden spiderweb necklace with gems that extended from her shoulder and down to the top of her breasts.

Her slender wrists were covered in a pair of lustrous silk gloves, and in her hand, she held a strange weapon that looked like a wand. It was roughly 45 cm long, and a black orb hovered at its end, floating lightly in the air but holding its position at the end of the wand.

She was the top-ranking NPC in the entirety of Nazarick. Albedo was in charge of all seven floors and the guardians who were placed on each of those floors. Due to that, she spent her entire time in the throne room.

Momonga saw where Olga was looking before noticing what equipment Albedo had on.

"Oh, she has a world item?" Momonga asked, looking at the rare treasure.

"Hmm ya, Tabula gave her Ginnungagap, I think he mentioned it," Olga said, not caring if she had one or not.

"Guess it doesn't matter. Do you know her backstory?" Momonga asked.

"Hmm, some of it, but Tabula spent days on it, so I doubt I know all of it. If you had asked me about Mare or Aura or Shalltear, then I could have told you everything about them," Olga said, looking at Momonga, who had just opened the console and used the guild staff to start looking at Albedo's backstory.

A massive wall of text filled the console they were looking at, seeming to last over twenty pages long.

"Wow, it's nearly as long as some of mine, but then again, the back story of mine was mainly all ready done for me, and I just tweeded it to fit into the game," Olga said, quick scanning the info.

"Yes, you made all the NPCs on your floor other than the Dark Elf Twins," Momonga said as he scrolled through a large amount of text.

As Momonga scrolled through the text, a part of Olga wanted to read it, but looking at the clock, she could see that the servers closed in five minutes, and that wouldn't be long enough to read it all, unfortunately.

"What the hell!" Momonga said, getting to the bottom of the wall of text.

Looking over at the text and seeing the last line of text, 'She is also a slut.' which brought a question to Olga's mind.

Can a succubus even be a slut? After all, it's not like there is such a thing as a virgin succubus. That would be really strange they were sex demons, after all.

"What is wrong, Momonga?" Olga asked.

"What do you mean what is wrong, look? It says she is a slut. A slut... meaning she has excessive sexual desire?" Momonga said.

"Momonga, she is a succubus, a demon of lust who feeds off the sexual energy. Of course, she has a lot of sex. It would be odd if she didn't." Olga said, not getting what Momonga's problem with Albedo´s backstory was.

"If you want a real nightmare, you should try looking at Shalltear's backstory and sexual fetish list," Olga said, rolling her eyes.

"No, I don't even want to imagine what is in the backstory or that list that you and Peroroncino wrote," Momonga said with a deadpan voice, closing Albedo's setting panel.

Both Momonga and Olga fell quiet as they looked around the throne room. All of the flags were displayed for the 43 members of the guild, with Olga's being one of the simplest. It was a white raven on a small pile of bones.

"Kneel," Momonga said, and all of the battle maids, along with Albedo, kneeled down while bowing their heads.

"Im going to miss this game," Olga said, and she honestly would.

Due to her family background, she had never had any real friends, and the ones that she did have, she needed to be on the watch with in case they were planning to stab her in the back. Not in Nazarick, though. She always felt safe here without worrying about what she said or how she acted.

"One minute till server shutdown," Momonga said with some sadness and pain coming through in his voice. Olga was sure that if Momonga had a flesh-based face, he would look heartbroken, but with just a bone face, you couldn't tell if something was wrong just based on his face.

"You never said what your name was?" Olga asked.

"It was frowned upon to use your real name. We all come to this world to escape the real one, after all…."

"It's Suzuki Satoru," Momonga said after a short pause.

Sayuri made a note of the name, and she would ensure that he could live a much better life. It wasn't hard for her to have him get a good job as a manager or something.

Olga brought up the clock to watch the last few seconds.

Olga took one last looked around the throne room before she closed her eyes, not wanting to look at the clock anymore.

"Well, I hope to see you in another game, and hopefully, they make a sequel of YGGDRASIL," Olga said, trying to be hopeful even if they both knew that the chances of that were very slim.

The countdown finished. She waited for the curtains to fall on her world and for the automatic logout.

Only for her eyes to snap open a minute later and look around, confused she was still in the game and taking a look at the clock, it should have ended 20 seconds ago.

"Eh?" Olga said, confused.
