DISCLAIMER I DO NOT OWN ONE PIECE

Summary: Their one meeting as kids didn't mean much to Trafalgar Law. For Frost Aurelia, her entire life changed. She wants her revenge. Infiltrating the Heart pirates was only step one. Step two, is proving to be a lot harder than planned. (Cover image is done by commission by Roji on Skeb)

A masked figure covered their entire body in black, loose clothing approached a cowering person. The smooth, white, plastic clown mask with the purple marking under its right eye and a permeant red grin made it so that no one would be able to figure out who she was. Including her current client trying to run away from payment.

She removed her trident from the back of her belt. The weapon, free from it's constraints, pushed outwards and extended the handle as long as her fore arm. The person pressed their body against the dead end wall. It was, in their head, their only way to get away from her. If she wasn't wearing her mask, then they would have seen that their fear was only making her more excited.

"I was going to pay for your services! I just needed more time!"

"Likely story. It's been months and still no beri in my pockets from you. You should have expected this when you saw what I did to your target. You requested for my services. Now you have to pay. Either with beri or your own life." They swallowed hard despite their dry throat. The pictures she sent after her mission was completed were... Unsettling. She definitely lived up to expectation of her being a highly respected assassin for hire. Only people with high status would know her contact's info.

She swiftly knocked them off their feet. As if they weren't already weak in knees. She stomped on their chest, not caring that the wind was knocked out of them. Leaning forward with her trident resting just below their chin they had no room to escape.

"Should I take your silence as your response?"

"Wait wait! The only reason I was going around was because I was looking for information. Your contact said that you provide a discount in exchange for information on Trafalgar Law, right? The Surgeon of Death?" She eased up a bit. Not enough to let them escape though.

"For reliable and useful information, yes. Though I doubt you have any; let's hear it."

They cleared their throat in order to make themselves appear a bit more convincing. "Three weeks ago he was spotted in Sabaody."

"Did you also hear he appeared at the War of Marineford? This is old news. With his ship he's probably passed Fisherman island by now. Now that you mention it, it's because of you that I missed him in Sabaody. Do you realize how much effort went down the drain because of you?" She didn't appreciate the person's attempt at stalling their death. Not when they were the reason why she couldn't meet the Surgeon of Death earlier. Without a second chance to prove themselves, she moved to stab them in the neck.

"He's on route to Durking island!" Her weapon stopped, just grazing their Adam's apple.

"Durking island?" She had a vague idea of the place. It didn't add up that he would be there. "Do you realize you are implying that he's still in Paradise?"

"A-aye, two days ago. A bright yellow submarine with a smiling jolly roger. Route wise Durking makes the most sense. I don't know why but there's no mistaking that. I swear. Please." There was still some suspicion that they were lying. Then again she didn't see any reports of the pirate entering the New World nor returning to Sabaody. As a part of the Worst Generation he was under a lot of people's eyes. Someone surely would have seen his arrival by now.

If the pirate truly was still in Paradise it meant, he had a reason to stay. It did sound a lot like him to not rush into the New World. He probably needed a chance to regroup after Marineford as well. Remembering all that she could about that routing she quickly thought of something fun.

"Alright. Assuming that this isn't a lie, I'll accept what you have already given me as payment." Before she let them go she lightly dragged her weapon downwards. Landing right over their pounding heart. It wasn't hard to puncture someone with her sharp weapon. "But if I find out that your information is false, I'll personally make sure your death is long drawn out in the most painful possible. You should know how impossible it is to hide from my resources."

She backed off completely. They didn't waste a second to get out of her range while squealing out in fear. She found amusement in how some of them thought that they could get away without paying. What did they expect from a killer? At least this type of community made it easier to get information around.

Trafalgar Law was a tricky fellow. The Heart pirates being in Paradise at the same time was a curveball she welcomed. Almost like fate was bringing them together once more. She couldn't pass up this opportunity to see him again.

Walking a bit, she made sure that she was alone. Not that she knew that the person would never once look back from running. She dialed a familiar number onto a pale pink den-den mushi. Her so-called contact and most trusted person in the world who was her key to getting all that she wanted.

She didn't have to wait long for someone to pick up. "I'm in the middle of something, Aurelia. Did you end up catching that runaway?"

"Afternoon to you too, Father. I have and they provided me with some information on my favourite target. Will you grant me a favour since you made me go after this stupid job?" She couldn't stop smiling under her mask.

'You better watch yourself Trafalgar Law. You have no idea what I have planned.'
