The sun was beginning to set down into the horizon, creating a magical purplish effect upon the docks of Balamb. The wind was gently blowing across Balamb, caressing the silver hair of Fujin. She didn't move, didn't mind. She let the wind play with her, after all, she was the wind. Footsteps trudged behind her. She didn't have to turn to know who it was.
Seifer Almasy sat down beside Fujin and looked out to the shimmering waves of the sea crashing against the shore. Fujin knew why Seifer had came to look for her. He always went to her when this always happened.
"I dumped her." Seifer finally said. Fujin nodded, "EMILY, WHY?" Seifer sighed, "She's just like the female version of Raijin, talks non-stop, talks like gorilla roaring. I left her with Raijin and I can picture them still talking, bringing the whole house down." Fujin nodded. "So why did you leave when we were having our dinner?" Seifer asked.
Fujin shrugged, "FUJIN, NOT NEEDED." Seifer sighed, "And you came here, right?" Fujin nodded. Seifer looked at Fujin, "I guess you must be sick of hearing all of my woman problems." Fujin shook her head. Seifer sighed, "Woman are such idiotic creatures." Fujin stared down to the sea. Seifer smiled faintly, "Not you." Seifer stared out to the sky, "So I wonder when I'll find my girl." Seifer looked at Fujin, "Do you ever thought of finding yours?" Fujin raised an eyebrow and looked at Seifer, amused, "WHY?"
"Someday, that thought have to cross your mind." Seifer said. Fujin shrugged and looked out to the sea.
Seifer stared at Fujin as the wind caressed the silver strands of her hair. An unknown feeling stirred in his heart.
[Damn. She's so beautiful…] Seifer thought, [She's not like any ordinary female. Not like Rinoa, not like Quistis. So far away from any female's characteristics. She's independent, headstrong. … She's like the wind…so quiet and silent…yet beautiful and strange…] Seifer sighed, [Darn. This is Fujin! Not Rinoa or Quistis or Selphie or Emily or whatever girls I dated!] Seifer looked at Fujin, [That's what made her so special, makes her stand out from the rest…]
Seifer smiled, [Yeah. She's beautiful…perfectly extraordinary. Stands out from the rest. Helped me from time to time. Protected me. Fought for me. Everything. So why not Fujin? ]
Seifer looked at Fujin who turned to him. "THINKING, WHAT?" Seifer smiled and shook his head and stared out to the sky, now filled with stars.
As he looked into the sky, he thought he saw the stars smiling at him.
Seifer smiled.
