In The Next Room
Beep...Beep...Beep...Beep...
The beet on the heart-monitor kept up a steady beet. The room was filled doctors. Outside in the waiting room, tears fell from many people's eyes. Those who did not cry, has red eyes, from trying to hold back the tears. A tall man paced back and forth infront of the closed doors of the room where a young girl , of sixteen years perhaps, lies. The doctors had been working for hours now, trying to regain the heart beet to a healthy tempo. Finally, with much work and exasperation, the doctors filed out of the room. A nurse waves the visitors into the room. Quickly, they hussal into the room, only to be in shock and horror, when catching sight of the young girl. Tears freely floe from the eyes of all the faces. A woman is holding the girl's hand.
It is apparent, by looking at the scene, there are many who care about this girl. She is lucky to have supportive friends and family. But.....not all of the patients rushed into the emergancy room are this fortunate.
In the next room....... A boy, also of age 16 or so, lies on a bed. The doctors have done their job....but haven't fullfilled it. The boy breathes hard, his chest hurts. He's been in the hospital for days now. But, no one has visited him. Why? He doesn't have any friends, he doesnt have any family, near by for that matter, he doesn't have a loved one, who will stay by his side no matter what. The room is dark, until the door creeks open. The beeping from the monitor signal his heart beet, slowing down. A girl's figure steps into the room, she walks over to the boy. Sits, and takes his hand. She smiles at him. He can only smile back, how could he not for her? She speaks something to him, but only God knows what she said.
In the next room a boy died tonight.

OK, how was it? Kinda confusing? Well, to clear things up a bit, I wrote a Poem version of this. It's a bit more explisit. Thanks for reading! Review!
