Quatre paced around the city streets, not wanting
to go home just yet. He knew that if he did, it would be
to an empty house.

A four year mission at the very least. Quatre
couldn't believe his bad luck. It was a year ago today
that Duo had left and there hasn't been word from him
since. Quatre was so very lonely.

Zawameki ni tokekon de
Ai o Sagashiteta*

I'll wander amid the noise of the city,

He kept walking, destination set in his mind.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he hoped that if he
searched around enough, he may find his love out there.
As he reached the city park, he laid out a
blanket at their favorite spot and stared into the night
sky, periodically closing his eyes in deep thought.

Several yards away, a figure clad in black
watched the blonde Angel lovingly.
"I'll be home soon Quatre," he whispered and slipped
away as stealthy as he came.
Quatre broke off from his trance and quickly
got up.
"Duo..." he called out, but no one was there to answer.
