Explanation: This song was inspired by a stuffed frog/penguin (Froguin) thing that we were given for good luck before UIL competition. It's basically chronicling my Marching Season experience. Oh, for all those who care, I made colorguard captain!

Froguin (one time, at Band Camp...)
Lyrics by Lauren Salinas, aka "The Furby"

"One time at band camp"
We've all heard that phrase
But I really was stuck there
For a week and three days
It's not what you're thinking
We did Jazzercize
With Mr. Duran
But no American Pies

The guard gets no respect
But two new directors
There's "Superman" Mr. Lopez
And of course, Mrs. Gallagher
Our show is a cool one
Called "Latintensity"
With "Suerte de los Tontos"
"Malaga" and "Dindi"

Oh Froguin, little Froguin
You are my lucky star
You are neither Frog nor Penguin
You're the coolest thing by far

In our colorguard uniforms
We look like bumblebees
Vanessa got a lump
When she fell off Stephanie
She never did forget it
Neither did Ariana
When we tell them to shut up
They say "Waddlyacha" (?)
Then there's Carlos and Hector
Showed up on our bus one day
Even though we gave them makeup
Don't worry, they're not gay

Oh Froguin, little Froguin
You are my little pal
Saw Carlos make obscene balloons
Inside Golden Corral

There's twenty people in the guard
A hundred more in band
We all go marching one by one
In heat and rain and sand
One day it became worth it
One day we got our prize
We got straight ones at UIL
And cried and cried and cried

Oh Froguin, little Froguin
That was when I got you
It may not be so special
Everyone in guard did, too
So Froguin, little Froguin
I'll need your luck again
At Area, where we will play
And maybe we will win.

(By the way, we got 32/35 so it didn't work.)
