An Adventure for
Martin Miggs, The Mad Muggle
(In my story Martin isn't Mad.)
Martin Miggs was a mad, evil & gross
muggle scientist. He lived in Madover Lane in a laboratory. Martin was the only
muggle in the whole world & that was the way he liked it. Even if he
couldn't use magic, he was still very powerful. One day, he was lazing around,
as usual, looking for a way to have magical powers without being a wizard
himself, when...
"I've found it!" exclaimed Martin,
"2 cups Beetle Juice & 3/4 cups Spider Legs!"
He was still writing the blueprints for
his "potion".
"Let's put it all together now!"
said Martin, excitedly.
He boiled the Beetle Juice in a cauldron for
half an hour. Afterwards, he was gradually popping the Spider Legs in, one by
one & then he let the cauldron simmer. He dropped a spoon into the boiling,
hot cauldron & fished some liquid out & drank it. It had a very, very
bitter taste.
"Aaaarrgg," growled Martin.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning came
flashing down. Martin turned into a.... wizard!
"I'M A WIZARD!" shouted Martin,
angrily, "I DON'T WANT TO BE A WIZARD! MY BLUEPRINTS ALL WENT HORRIBLY
WRONG!"
Martin then worked on a potion that
would bring him back to his original self. Suddenly, a huge bolt of
lightning hit the lab's floor. It was shaking Martin as though he was
being electrocuted. After all that riff-raff, a book that looked like
a diary, appeared next to Martin's blueprints:
Mister,
I'm Tom Riddle. Please write your name here
___________ IN INK!
Martin scuttled around to find a quill &
his ink bottle. When he had found it, he wrote his name on the line provided.
So, Martin Miggs, you want to turn
back into a muggle, do you?
Martin scratched a, "YES" on
the notebook. He wasn't very much used to ink & quills. He waited
curiously for the directions (well, that's what he thought would come next)
All you have to do is follow these:
A POTION FOR MARTIN!!!
4 shoots of a juicy Mandrake (This is the vital ingredient)
3 leaves of Moon Weed
2 Spider legs that have been roasted ON AN OVEN
5 Salvaged Pea Grains with Dragon Root wrapped around it
(salvaged means split)
8 cups Luke-warm Water
Method:
1# Mix everything in the PEWTER cauldron, except the Mandrake
and the water.
2# Churn the water into the mixture (your PEWTER cauldron should
NOT be on the fire yet)
3# Rip the Mandrake into tiny, microscopic pieces. Then, squeeze
out all of the juice.
4# Bring your PEWTER cauldron to boil.
5# Slid the wasted Mandrake pieces into the cauldron, one at a
time. Then, pour in the Khaki coloured juice & boil at maximum temperature.
6# Drink with your nose holes closed. You should turn into a
muggle now...
Tom then paused & then pushed on.

Martin then wrote a, "Thank you"
& closed the notebook. He had memorised the whole potion. Martin followed
the directions & he then turned back into the happy & mad muggle that
he was previously!
