B'Elanna looked at each PADD, and the number of
votes there were.
"And the winner is... #3."
Most of the room cheered. Captain Janeway sat
stiffly in the corner.
"I still don't see why I have to do this." she
said softly.
"Hey, it's not my fault you picked double dare!"
said B'Elanna quickly.
"But it's your fault I have to tell Chakotay I
love him... over the intercomm!"
"I thought it was a good one. And besides,
you have to do it anyway."
"So, um, which one was #3?" asked Sue Nicoletti.
"The French one." said Sam Wildman.
"Oh." said Sue.
"Proceed, Captain." said Seven.
"Janeway to the Crew. I have an annoncement to
make. Chakotay, Je t'aime tres beaucorp."
Except it didn't come out that way. Kathryn
had forgotten the element of the Universal
Translator. The five girls who voted for #3
hadn't. The whole crew heard Kathryn's
message in English. And she hadn't even said
anything about a dare. Whoops.
