Wilson let out a humming noise as he sat by himself for once a book in his lap only lifting his head when a spider went zooming past him with Wendy and webber hot on its tail making him chuckle lowly as they chased the creature around their campsite. Wilson turned his focus to the empty book before him opening it up he grabbed a writing utensil beginning to write as some of the others joined the fray of chasing the spider.

" Where to start... Well, I guess at the beginning... We had just set up camp at a spot we thought was best.. we built the walls up and fire when Maxwell asked about what season it was...The man had been very antsy lately almost like he knew something we didn't so when Wolfgang spoke up saying it was spring I swore he let out curses under his breath. He warned us not to wander too far off from camp and to stay away from the marshes when we asked why he mentioned it was mating season for many of the creatures around here.

He said they were more aggressive during this season even the normally gentle beefalo would attack if we got too close... I had rolled my eyes at the time but if I had listened I wouldn't have gotten into the predicament I had gotten into. It was a couple of days later when it happened.. the wind had begun picking up which was unusual for this time of year but what happened next was terrifying. I wasn't sure if it was just a natural phenomenon or maybe Charlie had something to do with it but out of nowhere, a huge tornado formed it sucking up everything in its path including everyone in camp. It was so sudden we had no chance.

we were sucked into the swirling winds. I desperately tried to get to my companions but it was no use I couldn't reach any of them.. one by one we were thrown out of the swirling winds. I had almost gotten a hold of Willow's hand when I was tossed out violently the force flung me through the air so hard that I could not see where I was then with a huge thud I landed finally knocking me out for what seemed to be forever but when I did come to I realized I was in an area we hadn't explored yet I was on a small patch of grassy land but before my eyes laid what looked like to be a huge marsh area. I knew if I was to make it back to camp I had to go through it but oh god I should have listened to Maxwell's warnings about staying away from the marshlands and staying put. The first part of the trek wasn't so bad except for the strange silence which I found weird since usually during mating season marshes at least back home were always filled with noise but except for the sound of bubbles popping now and again, there was no noise. It was about halfway through the Marsh when I heard the sound of Merms coming turning around the creatures ran past me into their houses in a panic but when I turned around once more I realized it was too late to run...

In my haze of trying to get back to camp, I had forgotten one little thing about marshes... The tentacles that resided in it and I swear I thought I was going to die since the tornado had torn any tool or weapons from me but instead of attacking the tentacle coiled itself around my body immobilizing me and excreating some kind of liquid it soaked through my clothing into my skin I began to feel light-headed my whole body going from tense to completely relaxed before out of nowhere I was pulled down into the darkness of the marsh. I wasn't sure if I had got knocked out or I had fallen asleep due to being so relaxed but when I awoke once more my surroundings were completely different. I was in some kind of cave with barely any light stuck to a wall with some kind of sticky substance my arms stuck behind my back but in the low light I could make barely make out that I wasn't alone down there. I spotted what looked like a couple of merms and even a pigman or two in the distance but other than that it was just too dark to see anything else suddenly I felt myself being wrapped again the tentacle from before had returned secreting something and I don't know if was the overwhelming loneliness, the stress, my scientific curiosity or the fact that I haven't had much physical contact since I came to this world but I just closed my eyes relaxing into the embrace. It was only when I began feeling the tip of the tentacle going down below the beltline that I had begun to panic once more...

"Wilson!" The scientist looked up from his writing to see Webber running over a huge smile on his face. " We've called you for 5 minutes now! Come on it's time to eat! Wigfrid and Maxwell have gathered wood for tonight! Wolfgang and Warly are on cooking duty! Come on Willow saved you a spot!" Wilson blinked a bit shutting the book and giving the other a smile he set his journal down on the stump before he followed the young spider boy to join the others around the fireplace. He finish writing in his journal later right now it was time to enjoy good food and good company well not counting Maxwell that is.
