Tenth returning Jump Girl for Month of Pink; Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer.

Mitsuri couldn't help but giggle as she listened to Tanjirou's stories about his youth as he cooked. He and Nezuko-chan just sounded so cute! Unbeknownst to the pink-haired Love Pillar, a certain Snake Pillar was hiding behind the door and glared hatefully at Tanjirou.

"I think it's wonderful what you're doing, Tanjirou-kun! I hope you succeed in turning Nezuko-chan back into a human!" chirped Mitsuri, meaning every word.

"Ah, thank you, Kanroji-san. It's been a difficult road so far, but I do not plan on giving up!"

Another giggle came from Mitsuri, while Obanai kept glaring at the boy for being so close to Mitsuri. Once her giggles subsided, Mitsuri noticed a difference in the air. Tilting her head she saw that it was coming from Tanjirou, who now looked more subdued, almost sad.

"Tanjirou-kun? What's wrong?"

"…Nezuko is all I have left. The day Muzan turned her into a demon, he also killed the rest of my family. If I don't kill Muzan…"

Mitsuri stood and made her way over to Tanjirou. Then, much to Obanai's shock, she brought Tanjirou into a hug.

"I'm sure that your family are looking down on you right now and see how hard you're working to avenge them," said Mitsuri, holding the younger boy close. "From the stories you've told me, it's clear that they love you very much and could never hate you, no matter what happens in the end. And as for killing Muzan, I know you can do it, not only because you have the determination, but also because you'll have the Demon Slayer Corps with you every step of the way. We WILL end that monster before he can hurt anyone else. I promise."

She could see tears appear in his eyes, to which he quickly wiped them away. "Th-Thank you, Kanroji-san."

"You're welcome, Tanjirou-kun."

As Mitsuri continued to hug Tanjirou, it became too much for Obanai as he slammed the door open, causing the two to jump in fright.

"H-Huh?! Oh, hello, Iguro-san."

"Kamado," hissed out Obanai, although Mitsuri and Tanjirou took that as being the Snake Pillar.

"Hello, Obanai-kun! You're just in time as lunch is almost ready!" chirped Mitsuri as she quickly set the table for everyone.

After Mitsuri finished setting the table, Tanjirou served the food. Just as he was about to sit down, Obanai quickly took his spot next to Mitsuri, still glaring at Tanjirou all the while. The younger boy was confused by this, but just shrugged it off and sat across from Mitsuri.

"Shouldn't you be with your friends instead?" demanded Obanai, wanting this boy as far away from Mitsuri as possible.

"Inosuke is off on his own for today and Zenitsu…I'd rather not get involved with what he's doing right now."

"That reminds me. You should keep Zenitsu away from Nezuko-chan, Tanjirou-kun," said Mitsuri in a tone similar to what you'd hear from a big sister. "I don't trust him with her."

She watched as he nodded, happy that he would forever and ever protect his little sister. It reminded her of her own siblings and how she wanted what was best for them.

As Mitsuri and Tanjirou continued talking about their siblings as they ate, Obanai could only stew in his own jealousy as Mitsuri's attention was on this boy instead of him.

I've said this before, but I don't like Obanai because of his Mitsuri obsession.
