Gotham City, 1979

After defeating Carmine's guards and Deathstroke, Bruce went on Selina's appartment and put some band aids over his body in the parts he got hurt. Selina helped him to stagnate the bleeding and he helped her with that.

Some time later, she started to touching on his face and asked him:

"Are you ok?"

And he said to her:

"Yeah, now I'm better..."

Selina starred at him and then, they started to kiss.

After some time later kissing, Selina turned off the lights and Bruce spent the last of the night with her in her bed.

Earlier in the morning, Selina woken up with Bruce on his side and started to pack her bags when Bruce saw it and asked her while still waking up:

"Good morning, babe, what's going on?"

Selina, so, approached to him and gave him a kiss and said:

"Good morning, Bat boy. Nothing to worry about, just take some sleep..."

So, she tried to put him some injection to make him fall asleep, but he immediately blocked it and then asked:

"What are you doing, Selina?!"

Then she attacked him, but he blocked her again and asked a little bit louder than before:

"I said what are you doing, Selina?!"

So, she screamed angrily to him:

"Just let me go, Bat boy!"

But he haven't obeyed her and she screamed louder:

"I said: Just let me go!"

Afterwards, she blocked him and said:

"I'm sorry, darling, but I can let you on my way, this revenge is mine!"

Then, he said:

"Selina, let me help you! Please! I know how deeply mad you're with all of it, because he killed your family, but I can't let you do anything stupid. Please, darling, I don't wanna lose you again. I love you."

So, he tried to grab her and cried around her shoulders, but she wasn't very receiptive with him and whispered to him in a cold way:

"It's too late, Bat boy..."

Then she applied the injection on him and he started to feel dizzy and fell on the floor and called her:

"Selina...Please..."

"This is only a sedative, darling, it's not gonna to kill you..."

So, he started to feel dizzier and dizzier and she said:

"I love you too."

Then, she kissed him and left the scene. After that, he fainted on the floor with the effect of the injection.

Hours later, he waken up on her appartment, but she wasn't there anymore. She vanished with all of her clothes.

So, he decided to come back to the Wayne Mansion.

Arriving there, he saw Alfred with an upset face starring him, waiting him to arrive.

After that, he compliment him:

"Good morning, Alfred."

Angrily, Alfred stayed up and said:

"What are you doing so late that you haven't gone to work, little boy?! Do you wanna lose your job?!"

In the same instant, Bruce looked surprised to Alfred and he started:

"When would you wanna told me that The Wayne Enterprises suffered a dicrease last month?! Or that while people were working for you, you with your irresposability decided to become a vigilant of crime in Gotham City?"

Then, Bruce started to cry and said:

"Alfred, please, I was gonna to tell you..."

"Tell me?! You're just so irresponsible, little boy. I haven't liked when you left here 3 years ago and now you came back and decided to risk all your life just like your father?!"

With that, Bruce started to get sad and he teared down:

"Please, don't involve my father on this...I'm not him!"

Then, Alfred said to him:

"No, but you are acting just like him! You know, it's weirdly, but you two are the same! Two irresponsible! Haven't you seen what happened to him?! What happened to all of us?!"

Bruce started to cry harder and Alfred said to him:

"Look, Mr. Bruce, I just can't lose you. Not in the same ways as I lost your parents. Not because some of attempt of justice in this city. I know how dirty this city is! There's a lot of things here I'm very upset for a long time ago also! But I can't do anything to change it. Unfortunetely, this is what life is. It's time to grow up!"

Then he looked at Alfred and said:

"It's not like this, Alfred...You won't understand..."

So, he took a deep breath and confessed:

"There's this girl... I like her so much...Like I haven't liked anyone before...I can't let her commit any madness, because of her revenge..."

Afterwards, Alfred got surprised and realized who Bruce was talking:

"That Cat lady?! That vigilant?! You two are together?! But who's she?!"

After that, Bruce took a deep breath:

"Yeah, kinda... You know I met her while I was with Ra's Al Ghul, we used to... We were there to join to a league of assassins..."

So, Alfred looked surprised and said:

"Oh, but that's horrible, little boy!"

"I know, I know. And we both are death sworned."

So, Alfred looked shocked to him and Bruce teared appart:

"I don't wanna die, Alfred! Not like my father! But she...She's so impulsive...She's Selina Kylie, from the Kylie's Family...Her parents were murdered by Carmine Falcone in front of her when she was a kid..."

Then Alfred looked surprised to Bruce and he started to cry a lot of in his arm:

"I don't wanna die, Alfred! I don't wanna die!"

So, Alfred gave him an hug and said:

"No, you're not gonna die, Mr. Bruce. I promise to you, that. I won't let anything bad happen to this family... Not this time! Now took a bath, you're sweating!"

After that, Bruce went upstairs and took a bath.

He couldn't stop thinking of Selina about his last moments with her, when she confessed about who she discovered who was the main responsible of her parent's death.

Right in the same instant, he put some clothes on and tried to open the door of his bedroom to went downstairs.

When he tried to open it, he realized: it was locked. Alfred locked him there.

So, he started to scream so hard:

"Alfred, please, open the door! Alfred!"

Then, Alfred swallowed hard and said:

"I'm sorry, Mr Bruce... But it's for your own good..."

Meanwhile, Selina was in the cemitery giving a last goodbye to her parents in their graves. So, she said:

"Goodbye, mom. Goodbye, dad. I swear to you. I'm gonna miss you so much."

Then, she started to cry when she saw a man walking down near there.

He left also a rose on there and she thought that this man sounded so familiar.

She saw him, crying on the grave of someone.

And decided to approach to see him a little bit closer, when she approached to him, she recognized from Bruce's photo: it was Carmine Falcone.

After he left the scene, she decided to chase him.

So, she walked down and saw who was the people he gave a flower on the graves.

There it was written the name of a girl: Sofia, who lived from 1930 to 1934. Also, there was another person: Louisa Falcone who lived from 1910 to 1963.

Then, she saw him getting in the car and followed him until his mansion.

Arriving there, she decided to keep looking at it.

In the mansion, there was just a few guards, so she decided to wait until it gets dark to attack him right there.

Meanwhile, Bruce was lying down on the floor unhopeful. Maybe Alfred was right, he just needed to let her go, for his own safety, but there was a part of him he couldn't for her, for the people, for his identity as the Batman.

He never asked to be a hero in the city or a vigilant, but there was something on him that it woken up this feeling, since the first time he went there on that Batcave.

So, he started to get hallucinated and saw his father talking to him.

He had a small flashbacks of him when he was just a little kid and fell on the cave of the mansion, his dad helped him and said to him:

"Hey Bruce, don't need to be scared, it was just bats you've seen on there it already passed..."

So, Bruce when was a kid answered to him:

"I don't know that, dad, I'm so scared..."

And then hugged his father so hard, so he tell him an advice:

"Listen, kid, you don't need to worry about it, I'm here. I'm always here. If you've seen something different, know there's nothing you can be scared about it. Always remember that you have a really good heart and you can always count everything to me and your mom. We are always here to protect you."

Then his father, put a finger down on his chest, pointing in direction to his heart.

"I know this world is really messy, you're going to find out someday Bruce, but I want you to remember that even when things got hard me and your mom, we are always here to protect you. No matter what."

So, Bruce asked:

"Even against the bats?"

Then his father looked at him and answered:

"Yeah, for sure. Even against anyone. We are always here in your heart to protect you. We are your dark knights."

At that moment, Bruce realized that it was not only Selina who made him to become a vigilant of crime, but also his parents and everyone who he loved once. His sense of justice was only constructed because of it and he decided to combat the crime, because he had hope that someday Gotham would've a chance to become a better city. He believed in Gotham and he believed because the people he had met there. He believed, because he had something that unfortunely Selina would never had again, because of her tragic past there. He had love.

So, after that flashback he woke up and realized what he had to do.

Then, he picked Sal Maroni's journal to see if he could find anything that could give a clue where Carmine Falcone is. Then he's seen on the journal that this old party was on Carmine Falcone's mansion and even got the address over it.

After that, he's seen the extract of Sal Maroni and realized that a lot of costumers went over in Falcone's mansion over the 67th Boulevard.

So, after realizing Carmine Falcone address, he was already knowing what he would do.

Meanwhile, in Carmine Falcone's mansion. There it was him listening to "Aria de Capo" drinking some whisky while he was playing some chess by himself on the living room with a check mate of the black pieces against the white pieces.

Then in the same instant, someone cut off the lights of the mansion and he heard some screams of his guards, but decided to do nothing about it. He heard some noise of claws over there too and some of his guards screaming:

"Now I'm gonna kill you, Cat lady!"

But then this person got attacked by the Catwoman and was hitted so hard by her:

"Aaaarghhhhhhhh!" screamed one of his guards.

Then he heard some laughing of a woman moving to there and finished his whisky and picked his gun off his pocket.

So, he heard the Catwoman saying:

"Well, well, where are you, your coward?!"

Then Carmine gave her a smile with a gun and said:

"Really impressive for a cat lady like you doing this against my guards, now let's see who gets another one first!"

Catwoman then asked:

"So, this is a challenge?!"

Carmine Falcone then aswered:

"As what it seems, indeed, it is."

So, Catwoman gave a smirk and said:

"Great, 'cause I love challenges... Meow! But I'd loved the most to see you becoming cat food after I getting you, your bastard! For everything you have done to my parents!"

Then Carmine started to laugh.

While they were chasing each other, Bruce was in his room locked, so, opened up his window to the garden, the garden was 16 feet under the floor.

He was a lot of scared to climb, without any equipament the window, but he knew he had to do it.

Then he started to climb and almost fell on the floor.

So, he reminded his parents and everyone he has ever loved before.

After that, he whispered to himself:

"Let's go, Bruce! You can do this!"

Afterwards, he started to improve his climbing, and then fell safety on the garden.

After getting on the floor, he went to the Batcave, picked his equipaments and his Batmobile and went where Carmine and Selina were.

Meanwhile, in the chasing, Carmine was with his revolver and said to Selina:

"Oh come on, Cat lady, por favore, there's so many people I've disgraced their families how could I even remember you?!"

"No, but this one, you wouldn't forget, that's what I guarantee for you..."

So, Carmine swallowing hard and said:

"You know, I already have seen you on the news. I don't why, but there's something into you that reminds so much of my daughter. Or my ex daughter if you wanna said that..." then he started getting emotional.

After that, he started to tell her his story:

"She was just so young and so pretty, like I suposed that you are. With many ideas to change the world, to change me. I was changing because of her. Look, I never wanted to become a mobster. It's just life that made it go like this."

Then he started to cry and said:

"On the year of her 4th birthday, I wasn't there present, because I have something to deal that my boss ordered me to do it, she wished for me to be there on her next birthday and I promised to her that I would be. It was the time, I promised myself I would abandoned this life for sure. But, it was complicated. She started to suffer a lot of cough, fever and aggitation. In a way I couldn't even explained it. So, we remarked an appointment with the doctor and I still remember like today, the doctor diagnosticated her with tuberculosis in a very terminal stage, I swear I'd do anything to pay the threatment, so I continued on the gang, for years and years. My daughter passed away, because I had no conditions to save her that time, but, because of her, I have decided to still keep on this life."

After that, Selina started to get mad about it and he still confesed:

"I even don't know why I have said you this, but if I killed your family, I'm sorry... But there's a lot of people I have to kill too...Loved people for me. Some time later, my wife went in a several depression for years and years. I know it's crazy, but so much time she attempted to kill herself. I put her on Arkham Asylium for some time. I know, maybe that's where she freaked out with me, but I made it for her own good. Some time later, after she was released from there, I found out she cheating on me, with my 'best friend' during this time...Maybe you knew him also, Salvatore Maroni. That was the time I have decided to declarated a war with that bastard. Can you imagine? Your best friend, stabs you in the back, on that way, with your wife. But I couldn't tolerate it, so I killed her, with my only hands..."

Confessed Carmine getting emotional, and he said:

"Well, maybe it's time for me to get paid for my sins today...Nothing lasts forever. Not even the Roman Empire..."

So, Selina saw him and tried to attack him.

Then, he saw her moving and beated on her, but she defended herself, then he tried to shot, but she picked his gun and throw off with her whip. Immediately, he got her whip right on his hands and started to pushing it.

She started to resistent it, but he was so much stronger than her, than he pushed her around him and give her a punch, then he started to strangulate her and said:

"Now you're dead, Cat lady!"

Immediately, she started to scream and then pick one of her claws and attacked him on the face forming him a scarf.

So, he started to scream hard and then, she immediately attacked him over and over again.

Then, after a mass of attack he said to her:

"Kill me!"

Selina, then, paralized and looked surprised to him, then he repeated again:

"What are you waiting for, Cat lady?! Go ahead, kill me! Fullfil your revenge!"

So, she stopped attacking him and giving him a smile.

Then, he asked nervously:

"What are you laughing?!"

So, she said:

"I'm not gonna kill you, you're going to jail..."

Then, Carmine looked surprised to her and gave a laugh and said:

"What you mean with that?! You know I have always controlled the police office here in Gotham City. I'd never go to jail!"

So, she laughted and said:

"Well, well, I don't think so..."

Then he started to get nervously and asked:

"What you mean with that?!"

Afterwards, she started to laugh and said:

"Your fool. Do you think I'd be stupid enough to attack you in your house, without any proof of your crimes between this years?!"

Then, he got surprised for her and she continued:

"I've been finding out all the proofs all over the places, picked everything about you, that'd accuse over any crime, anything that had your name dropped since Sal Maroni's office to Rupert Thorne's one and stolen it, before the cops went out. On that day, your henchmen attacked you, I was recording his confession on my cassette tape recorder and look, he confessed you were the main responsible of the crimes!" then she started to laugh.

So, she said:

"Now, the cops maybe already have received my cassette tape, inclunding the FBI police and the press. Enjoy the rest of your days in jail, your bastard!"

Then he cried and said:

"Noooo! Please, don't do this! Kill me, I beg you!"

So, he bent his knees for Selina and then, she said:

"Hmmm, no. Killing you'd mean nothing, comparing to everything you did!"

Then he started to cry and said:

"Please, I beg, I'd do anything for you!"

So, she started to thinking and gave a smile:

"Anything?!"

Then he said:

"Yes, anything..."

So, she looked at him in a sadistic way and said:

"Ok, get up!"

Then she lifted him from the floor and pushed him:

"Now you're going to show me, where have you kept all the money you've been stolen from people here in Gotham."

Then he started to move until his safe box.

After that, she ordered him:

"Open... Now!"

And he obeyed her and opened it.

At the same instant, she saw all the money he have been stolen from all these years and got amazed to all of it.

"Well, well, look what we have here..." said her.

Then he picked a knife and tried to attack her, but she quickly deviates from his attack and gave a knockout, making him faint on the floor.

So, she started to pick all the money, when the Batman appeared:

"Selina...Wait!"

Then she turned around and said:

"Bruce...What are you doing here, sweetheart?"

So, the Batman approached to her and said:

"Please, don't do this...He's already gonna pay for all of his crimes...You don't have to do this..."

So, she asked:

"Do what, silly boy?"

And he answered:

"This...You don't have to stolen all the money, just give it to the police. Let the justice do its job..."

Then she said:

"Well, but it seems the justice will already do its job..."

And then he approached to her and whispered:

"Selina...Please...Just give all the money that's been stolen for the people, for the cops to turn back to the families he's been stolen from all these years..."

Then she started to thinking and whispered:

"Well, dear Bruce, maybe you're right about it...But I don't care about it!"

So, Bruce said disappointed to her:

"But that's dirty money! It belongs to the people he's been stolen from all these years! Their families! Like yours!"

After that, she starred at him and after some time, she started to laugh.

Then she said:

"Well, silly boy you're funny. Have you ever heard the phrase there's no honour among thieves? This is what it is. I'm sorry..."

So, he looked upset to her and she started to touch on his face and said:

"Oh, darling, don't be like this...You know that's true...Think we can be free again, just like the old times. We can finally go as far as from here and start a new life. Together. Far away from all of this. What do you think about it?"

Then he looked at her and she continued:

"You know I love you so much, don't you?"

Then he answered:

"Yes, I do. And so do I."

After that, she kissed him and he then he continued his phrase:

"But I can't let it happen..."

So, she stepped back and then she asked:

"So it's gonna end up like this?"

And Bruce answered:

"I'm sorry, Selina, but I think so."

Then, both started to fight. Selina then gave him an attack, but he quickly defended to her attack and striked her back, but she defended from him too.

So, she gave a smile and commented to him:

"Just like the old times, huh?!"

After that, she gave another hit on him, but he defended from her, then she used her whip, but he also defended from it, so he picked his batrang throw off, right in her direction, but she blocked it, giving another hit. Then she attacked him with her claws, but she only made a scratch on him then said:

"Looks like it's not only down your back that's full of scratches now..."

Then he gave her a smirk and answered her:

"Yes, it seems so..."

So, he attacked her with his narrow, but she blocked it and cut it.

After that, he throw off his batrang again, but she defended, and he attacked her in the legs, making her fell on the floor.

Afterwards, she said to him:

"How could you do this?! I'm a woman!"

Then Bruce looked at her and she seemed to be redeemed, so he said:

"Selina... I'm sorry..."

In this time, she applied one of her sedetative injections down on his legs, making him fell on the floor.

So, he said:

"Selina, please, don't do this..."

Afterwards, she looked to him and said:

"I'm so sorry, darling. But it's too late..."

Then, he started to get unconsiously and called her:

"Selina, please...Don't do this... It's never too late..."

So, she looked at him, approached to him and said:

"Goodbye, Bruce. I love you. I'll never forget you, I promise."

When she said that, she gave him a farewell kiss and walked away.

After that he started to call her, but it was too late, she was already getting all the money.

So, he got unconscious on the floor.

Some time later, the cops appeared on the scene and saw him there alongside with Carmine Falcone who was also unconscious.

Bruce then waken up on the Police Station hours later, he was still with his outfit as Batman.

"He's breathing..." said Jim Gordon looking at him.

Then he woken up and said:

"Where am I?"

So, Jim Gordon said to him:

"You're on the Police Station. Carmine is already arrested. We did it."

Immediately, Bruce looked at him surprised and he asked:

"And how about the money? The Catwoman? Where's she?"

So, Jim looked at him and said:

"I'm sorry, kid. But there wasn't anyone or any money there when we arrived. Only Carmine and you. The safe box was empty."

Then, Bruce looked surprised to him, but it was happy also for Carmine Falcone's arrested.

After that, Jim Gordon got a lot of interviews over the case.

Bruce then came back to The Wayne Mansion and took a deep breath before facing Alfred.

When he arrived, Alfred was passing there and was surprised happy when he saw him.

Then he said:

"Mr. Bruce! You're alive!"

So, Bruce started to justify and said:

"Look, Alfred, I'm so sorry..."

In this moment, Alfred gave him a hug and said:

"Your father would be very proud of you, kid! You are a hero here in Gotham! I'm sorry, for everything I did! Please, forgive me!"

Then Bruce started to cry with Alfred and he said:

"No, that's nothing. Now I know, Alfred. Thanks to you, my father and all the people I've ever loved who put me there. Thanks so much for everything!"

Then he gave a hug on Alfred also.

So, the time passed.

Days later, after Falcone's case, Jim Gordon lately was promoted as Gotham City's Comissioneer. The Batman became an icon there and people started to live a life more peaceful knowing there was someone there to protect them.

Meanwhile, on the Himalaia there was Deathstroke who bent his knee to Ra's Al Ghul:

"I'm so sorry, master, I don't know what happened to me, but I failed on the mission of killing them both."

So, Ra's Al Ghul got up of his throne and said:

"Don't need to be sorry for that, Slade Wilson. You already did your job."

After that, Slade started to get suspious about the peacefulness of his boss and asked:

"What do you mean with that, master?!"

Then, Ra's Al Ghul giving him a laugh:

"Well, it's obviously, it seems the Bat has really became an icon there. And the Cat we haven't heard any news for so long. You know, I have a lot of spies there in Gotham. So I know what happens there. Now that Carmine is arrested. And the Crime Families in there fell. The Batman is already on the chopping block now. It's just a matter of time for him to get a lot of enemies on there. We just need to wait the right moment to attack him!"

Then, Deathstorke got up and said:

"Maybe, you're right boss, maybe you're right..."

Meanwhile, on the prision, Carmine said to the guard:

"Please, let me see my lawyer, I need to call him."

Then, the guard said to him:

"One moment, sir."

So, the guard opened up the gate to him and the lawyer complimented him, a little bit disappointed.

"Good evening, sir." said the lawyer.

"Good evening. So how's the habeas corpus' request?" asked Carmine.

After that, the lawyer looked him disappointed.

Then, Carmine asked to him:

"What's it?!"

In that moment, the lawyer took a deep breath and answered:

"I'm sorry, sir, but it was denied..."

Afterwards, Carmine asked:

"What do you mean with that?"

"I'm sorry, sir, but it was denied. It seems you don't have any money on your account. Your daughter picked up all the money."

Then, Falcone looked surprised to him and asked outranged:

"What?! What do you mean with that?!"

"Your daughter, it seems that she picked up all the money. The account entered in the name of Sofia Falcone. You don't have anything more on your bank account now, I'm sorry."

So, Falcone looked surprised and then realized:

"But that's impossible. I don't have any dau...That bitch...She'll pay for this!"

"I'm sorry, sir, but there's nothing more I can do..."

Then the guard appeared and grabbed Carmine on his arm and he said:

"Wait, please! Don't let me go! Please don't let me go!"

After that, he was put on his cell.

Meanwhile, on The Batcave, there was Batman on his computer with his outfit almost getting ready to fight against crime with Alfred on his side.

Then Bruce asked:

"You know, Alfred, but I'm thinking that maybe I'm gonna find Selina one more time..."

"That woman really caused a lot of trouble here in Gotham, maybe you can find her again, but it's just a matter of time..."

"I know that, but I don't know. I just have a feeling. I don't know. I have a feeling that besides of everything, she's still gonna comeback here someday..."

After that, the Batman left the place and decided to combat the crime on that night.

The Dark Knight was alive more than ever in that place and almost every thug was affraid of him since that moment.

While he was combating crime, in another point of the world, there was a bob short haired blonde girl with a pink hat and white sunglasses taking some sun bath on a yatch passing throught Monaco.

So, a waiter served her a glass of champagne which she had asked for. Then, she complimented him:

"Merci, beacoup, monsieur."

And he said:

"De rien, madame moiselle."

So, she gave him a smile with her red lipstick.

The waiter really was enchanted by her. She was really a beautiful girl, around her 18s. Then, he asked her:

"Comment vous-appelez vous?"

So, she took off her sunglasses, gave him a smile and answered:

"Sofia Falcone."
