Sequel to 'A Fox's Game' and a birthday present to my best friend, foxknightyouko009. After a visit to Sally's castle in order to try and get Fiona a royal pardon, Tails, Whisper and Tangle find out that Fiona, who had tried to leave the Destructix, was captured by them. Now they must try to save her from the brutes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know I posted this fic a day late when Youko's birthday was yesterday. I'm sorry I just needed the extra time okay? Anyways, I do have one disclaimer for this fic.

This is not a sex-based fic. As a matter of fact, there are very few references to sex in this fic and there will be no scene dedicated to sex at all in this story. I'm sorry to those who wanted a lewd story, but don't click away just yet. I really wanted to make something special for my best friend's birthday, so instead of sex, this fic will focus on a massive fight between Tails, Tangle and Whisper, against the Destructix.

I really worked hard to make this fic entertaining from a fighting perspective. I really do hope I did a good job. Will I do more fics like this? Hmm, hard to tell. But for the people who wanted a lewd story, please give this story a chance, as it still progresses a story that has been going on for a few years now. So I'll see you at the bottom.

Tails awoke in his bed, feeling sticky and unpleasant. He stretched out his arms and reached down to lift himself into a sitting position, only for both of his hands to touch two large objects, furry, breathing, being disturbed from their slumber. Tails's eyes widened and he yelped upon feeling two sleeping bodies against him. His reaction caused them to stir and wake up. They revealed themselves to be a grey female lemur and a beige female wolf, both of them completely naked. Suddenly the memories from the night before came to Tails's mind.

"Tails, what's the matter?" asked the wolf looking at him with a concerned look on her face.

"Nothing's wrong Whisper" said Tails, taking a deep breather from being startled "I just forgot you two were in my bed."

"Heheh, for such a smart fella you're quite the scatterbrain" giggled the lemur.

"Hey! You two wore me ragged Tangle!" said Tails, getting offensive.

"Two!? You really are a scatterbrain" giggled Tangle "Don't you remember? There weren't two of us, there were three of us."

"Huh?" said Tails, scratching his head as he tried to properly remember the night before. He remembered having fun with Tangle and Whisper, those memories were now fresh in his mind thanks to the fact he had woken up beside them. But Tangle was right, weren't there three girls. Tails's blue pupils shrunk as he remembered who that third girl was.

"Fiona" he said, making Tangle grin as he remembered. It was so hard for him to believe. Fiona, the girl he had fallen in love with, the girl who had broken his heart, the girl who betrayed him and his old team of Freedom Fighters. She had come back. Of course, at first her intentions were to get some information out of him, but thanks to Tangle and Whisper, her motives changed from wanting information, to wanting a piece of him. And after he gave it to her. The moment they had after they woke up. She had to leave, but she didn't want to. She wanted to stay with him, but there were two problems getting in the way, or rather, two people getting in the way: Fiona's boyfriend, Scourge, and the new Queen, Sally Acorn.

Scourge was an alternate version of Tails's friend Sonic. Scourge was practically a dark mirror version of the quick blue blur. Scourge was a selfish and greedy crook who would do anything to get what he wanted. Last Tails had heard of him, he had become the leader of the Destructix. And Fiona was part of the team too.

Sally on the other hand, was an old friend of Tails, and the closest thing he had to a mother figure when his own mother wasn't around. They eventually found her, but even then, Tails loved Sally as someone to look up to. Back in the day, she was the leader of the Freedom Fighters. But they had long since abandoned the team. Most members now went to live a normal life, with Sally taking her mother's old position as the Queen, as she, along with her father, had sadly passed away.

Tails could see those two being a problem for Fiona being with Tails like Tangle and Whisper were. Especially Scourge, he was a very easy person to anger, though at the same time. And due to Fiona's betrayal, even though he was set to forgive Fiona, Tails had a feeling that Sally would not be so forgiving. But if he remembered the conversation he had with Fiona the night before correctly, she was working on convincing Scourge to leave. Which left him to deal with Sally.

Tails leapt over Tangle's body, much to the lemur and the wolf's surprise. They quickly followed him out of the room and across the hallway to where the showers were.

"Tails, what's the matter?" asked Whisper.

"We need to go see the Queen" said Tails "We need to convince her to let Fiona go so she can be with us, just like you two."

"Heheh, you really want that vixen to be with ya, don't you cutie?" said Tangle, ruffling the fox's hair as they stepped into the bathroom.

"Tails… as much as we would love to help you" said Whisper, a frown donning her face "We need to face the facts. She may have changed last night. But she is still a criminal to society. And the Queen is very strict."

"I know she is!" said Tails "But I still need to try, don't I? Fiona was the girl of my dreams back in the day."

"Awww, don't say it like that" said Tangle, putting on a playful frowny face "You'll hurt our feelings."

"Sorry" said Tails, feeling like he should have worded it differently since the two girls he was with right now seemed to love him too, and while he also loved them, there was still something so surreal about the girl of your dreams actually wanting you "You two are amazing! You really are. And I want to keep enjoying the pleasures with you two. But Fiona wants to be with me. And she's already trying to convince that jerk Scourge to let her leave. If she's trying, then I'm going to do what I can to convince Sall-er… I mean 'the Queen' to let her go."

Tails had tried to cover up the fact that he had called Sally by her name instead of addressing her as the Queen. The two of them raised their eyes, and Tails couldn't help but crack under the pressure.

"Tails… did you just call the Queen by her name?" said Tangle "Do you know her personally?"

"I… well… yeah… Sally's an old friend" said Tails "She was the leader of the Freedom Fighters. A team that me and Sonic and Amy were a part of. The teams disbanded now, but some of us still fight for what's right. I… actually used to call her 'Aunt Sally'."

This time, Whisper could not help but 'Awww' along with Tangle, which made the fox blush beet red and turn away in embarrassment. He felt the two of them cuddle his body.

"My goodness you are just so adorable" said Tangle "And you know the Queen personally!? That's so cool!"

"I admit… it is rather amazing that you personally know the person who watches over the place" said Whisper.

"And what are ya worrying about!?" said Tangle, clapping Tails on the back with her long tail "If she loves you like a nephew, I bet she'd do anything for you."

"I wouldn't be so sure of that" said Tails "She has a very, very hard distaste for Fiona."

"Well it's like you said Tails" said Whisper "You have to try. If Fiona is going out of her way to leave her evil group, then you have to try and convince the Queen to free her of all her charges."

Those words filled Tails with confidence and determination. That same determination burned in him earlier when he remembered his conversation with Fiona the night before. No matter what it was going to take, he was going to get her back, and he was going to help her get to him.

"We'll go visit her soon," said Tails "Let's shower first. That cum from last night is starting to dry into my fur. Bleugh!"

The three naked Mobians walked towards the shower stall, and Tails turned on the warm water. The three of them stepped inside and began to help each other in washing each other up. It was a little cramped in there with the three of them in a small cubicle, and due to the three of them engaging in sexual acts before, the temptation to do it again was great. But they kept themselves under control and used the soap to help each other clean up.

Once everyone was all clean and fresh, the three of them left Tails's house, he locked up and they all made their way over to the castle of Acorns where Queen Sally ruled over the land. Tails didn't know how hard it would be to convince his old adoptive aunt to give Fiona a pardon, but he certainly wasn't going to go down without a fight. He just hoped that Fiona was having good luck in getting herself out of the Destructix.

The answer was… no.

Fiona was tied up, gagged and locked under the dungeon. After the night before where she had a passionate moment with Tails and his girlfriends, the red fox wanted out of the Destructix so that she could live a life with Tails, Tangle and Whisper. Of course, she knew she was number one on Queen Sally's hit list because of all the things she had done back in the day, but that's why she told Tails to try and convince her to give her a pardon. But unfortunately, her plan to leave the Destructix did not go as planned. When she asked Scourge if she could leave, he didn't take it to well and shoved her down in the dungeon, making sure she couldn't escape.

"MMPH!" she screamed through the ball gag in her mouth. She knew it was no use, but she couldn't help but struggle in the ropes she was tied up in. Scourge was beyond pissed with her. He had somehow figured out that Fiona had not at all quit because she believed all this fighting to be pointless, but he figured out that it was because she deep down cared for the little freak. And in keeping Fiona here as his prisoner, he knew that said freak would come to save her. But that's what Scourge was counting on.

Scourge more than ever wanted to defeat Sonic once and for all, and his plan involved him getting both the Chaos Emeralds and the Anarchy Beryl to become more powerful than anyone in the universe. But of course, he needed to find them first. And his original plan was to send Fiona to capture Tails and torture the info of their locations out of him. But now that plan was in ruins, it was time for Plan B. Once Tails got word of Fiona being held captive by him, he would rush him down with the other Destructix, and once he was worn down, capture him too and get the information out of the fox himself.

"Now that the bitch is playing the damsel in distress" said Scourge "It's time that little freak knows his princess is in danger."

Double checking that Fiona was locked in the deepest depths of the dungeon, Scourge walked up to send a message to Tails so that he could put the rest of his plan into motion.

Meanwhile, back with Tails, Tangle and Whisper. They had just arrived at the Castle of Acorns. The guards recognised Tails as the old Freedom Fighter he once was, and knew that he was close friends with Sally, and gladly let him and the girls through to go and see her. Tangle couldn't help but excitedly talk about Tails and his relationship with the Queen of Mobius

"Wow! It's just so nice here Tails" she said "I still can't believe you're close friends with the actual Queen of Mobius. Do you think she'll let me and Whisper come by to visit sometimes if you put in a good word for us? I'd love to learn about all the adventures you went on back in the day."

"Tangle" Whisper interrupted "Business now, fangirl later."

"Oh boo, you're no fun" pouted Tangle.

"She is right Tangle" said Tails "Remember our priorities."

Tangle sighed, but nodded as the three of them walked up to the castle's throne room. The guards in front of the massive doors nodded to them and opened up the doors. Upon opening, the doors revealed a long red carpet that led up to a small flight of stairs. And atop the stairs was a massive throne. And sitting in that throne was a chipmunk girl with a blue dress, a red cape, fiery red hair and a golden crown atop her head. She looked over her three visitors and recognised the twin tailed fox. She smiled warmly at the fox upon recognising him, and he smiled back at her.

"Why Tails, it's nice to see you" she said, standing up from her throne.

"Queen Sally" said Tails, bowing down to her, opting Tangle and Whisper to do the same. This action caused Sally to giggle.

"Oh I know I'm the Queen and all, but you can still just call me Sally, Tails" said the Queen "We've known each other since we were just children."

"Oh, okay, sure Sally" said Tails, blushing a little as Sally looked at the other two girls.

"And who are your friends?" she asked curiously.

"Oh of course, you probably don't know these two, well, this is Tangle" said Tails, motioning to Tangle, who seemed to be trying her hardest to hold back a squeal and asking Sally a million questions about her old days as a Freedom Fighter.

"Very nice to meet you" said Sally, holding out her hand, to which Tangle vigorously shook.

"It's so cool to actually meet the Queen of Mobius" said Tangle, stars of joy alighting in her eyes "This is just so awesome!"

"Heheh, she's a little excitable" said Tails, now turning to Whisper "And this is Whisper."

Sally managed to yank her arm out of Tangle's grasp and turn to shake hands with Whisper, who shyly shook her hand in return.

"Very nice to meet you as well" said Sally, smiling kindly at the wolf.

"Charmed" murmured Whisper.

"So, what can I do for you Tails?" asked Sally "Surely you didn't just come to introduce me to some new friends did you?"

"Well, no, we actually wanted to ask you a favour" said Tails.

"Oh?" said Sally "Well fire it away, I'm sure whatever you have to ask I can do for you."

"Well… there's no easy way of saying this" said Tails, who despite wanting to help Fiona, didn't know where to go from here "But… well… I…"

"Could you give Fiona Fox a royal pardon so that she can roam the streets as a free citizen?" Tangle butted in.

"What!?" said Sally, staring at the lemur in shock, her look of shock turning to Tails.

"Tangle!" cried Tails.

"What? All you were doing was stuttering, we were going to be here all day if you kept that up" said Tangle.

"T… Tails" said Sally "Did I hear her right? Did you come to ask me to give the biggest traitor in all of Mobius a royal pardon for her crimes?"

"Well… I…" Tails knew there wasn't any way to sugar coat this one "Yes."

"Absolutely not" said Sally, a glare upon her face "May I remind you that she had hurt several people in this land, betrayed our team of Freedom Fighters, cheated on Sonic, and most importantly… she played with your feelings."

"Yes, I know that Sally" said Tails "But…"

Sally held up her hand and shook her head. Clearly she was not in the mood for any 'but's'.

"I do not need to say more" said Sally "Unless you can prove to me that Fiona has truly changed for the better, I cannot grant you that favour."

"But Sally, she has changed!" said Tails.

"Tails, if you tell me that you've encountered Fiona and she's asked you to make me give her a royal pardon, I must say I'm very disappointed in you" said Sally "Me and Sonic taught you better than that. You know very well that Fiona could be very well manipulating you into something much bigger than you could know."

"But this isn't that Sally!" said Tails "I know Fiona has truly changed!"

"Very well" said Sally "You have one chance to convince me that Fiona has changed. But if that answer isn't good enough for me, I shall ask you to see yourselves out. As happy as I am to see you again Tails, and as much as I took pleasure in meeting your friends, I am still a very busy lady and have a kingdom to run."

"Okay! Well… I… uh… she…" Tails tried to say something, but the words couldn't quite make it out.

"It seems to me that you are struggling to give a reason as to why I should grant Fiona that pardon" said Sally "This does not help your case."

"Oh he's got a reason, he just can't make it out" giggled Tangle, making Sally raise an eye.

"Oh? And what do you think he's trying to say?" asked Sally.

"Wait… Tangle" Whisper hissed "If you say what I think you will say I swear…!"

"Tails and Fiona had a bit of fun together last night" said Tangle "Me and Whisper saw it all, they were pretty smitten with each other. It was cute, but pretty damn hot when they went at it like rabbits."

Sally's eyes widened, Tails's face blushed a fiery red, and Whisper facepalmed. Tangle on the other hand, seemed pretty proud of herself.

"Whhhhyyyyyy?" Tails groaned under his breath.

"Are… Are you trying to tell me that…" Sally said, now struggling to find the right words to say.

"Well what else would I mean?" said Tangle, a big smile on her face.

"Tails" said Sally, turning back to the fox "Is all of this true?"

Tails had his face in his hands, and couldn't look at Sally's eyes anymore. Why did Tangle have to say that? There was no way Sally was going to let Fiona run free now. But with the beans spilled he might as well tell the truth.

"Yes" he managed to choke out "It's all true."

"Well… I guess I just have a few questions for you now Tails" said Sally "Then I will make my decision."

Tails's ears perked up at that. What did Sally mean by that? Was she actually thinking about pardoning Fiona?

"Was she good?" asked Sally "Like… did she act like a good partner to you and treat you with respect and care?"

What!? Now she wanted to know what it was like to have sex with Fiona? Whisper's jaw just about hit the floor when Sally asked that question. Even Tangle was a little surprised by that.

"Wow, the Queen seems to be a little dirty minded wanting to know everything about this" said Tangle.

"I well… yeah… she did feel really good" admitted Tails, blushing harder than a tomato as he told the truth in a last ditch effort to get Sally to give Fiona that pardon "And she really enjoyed herself, and treated me like an equal. She even kinda let me be the dom. And before she left last night, she wanted to quit the Destructix so she could be with me. So… yes, I do believe she's changed Sally. And you can take Tangle and Whisper's word for it too, they saw it all."

Tangle and Whisper nodded up at Sally, confirming that it was all indeed true. Sally was still awestruck. She listened to everything Tails had to say. She tried to find any sort of hole in the story that might indicate that Fiona had tricked the three of them. The only thing that she could make out of it was Fiona saying she would leave the Destructix team and be with Tails. That could be a possible lie where she never actually left and is just softening Tails up and getting useful info out of him. But wouldn't it have been more useful to just kidnap him and the girls right then and there to torture the info out of them? Sally decided that there was only one way to find out the truth for good.

"Tails" she said "If Fiona has really truly changed, then please, bring her to me. I will question her myself. If she passes my test, I will pardon her."

"Really!? You will!?" said Tails, looking hopeful.

Sally couldn't help but smile at Tails's happiness. Tangle also looked ecstatic, and even Whisper couldn't help but smile. Sally just nodded at the three.

"Of course, but again, only if she passes my test" said Sally "But I'm certainly not saying no just yet."

Tails couldn't help himself. He rushed forward and hugged Sally nice and tight. Sally, despite being fixated on this entire kingdom seeing her as their strong and regal ruler, couldn't help but hug her adopted nephew for old times sake.

"Well, I'll let you go get her" said Sally, stroking Tails's head softly "Be back by sundown and we'll talk."

And that was the end of the conversation, Tangle, Whisper and Tails all left the castle, all excited for later. All they needed was for Fiona to return and then they would return to the castle. Tails, Whisper and Tangle were all super confident that Fiona would pass Sally's test and become a free girl once again, and they were all excited as they walked back to Tails's house and talked about it.

"Heheh, you sure you can handle three girlfriends Tails?" asked Tangle, waggling her eyebrows at the fox.

"Girlfriends?" said Tails, raising an eye at the two of them "I thought you said we were friends with benefits."

"Well, maybe I did a little bit" said Tangle "Though I've gotta admit, you're too cute to resist. But Whisper for sure sees herself as your girlfriend."

"Tangle!" Whisper hissed, another strong blush forming on her face.

"Aww Whisper don't be so secretive about it" said Tangle "Just tell him the truth. He likes you, I doubt he'll think differently of you."

"Is that true Whisper?" asked Tails, turning his gaze to the blushing wolf.

"Well… y…yes" murmured the wolf "But because of Fiona… I thought you wouldn't…"

Whisper was silenced by Tails suddenly walking to her side and pressing his lips to her own. The wolf's eyes widened as Tails kissed her, Tangle watched, squealing like an excited schoolgirl as Tails pulled away from the wolf, smiling at her.

"Aww Whisper, I never imagined our relationship as just pure sex" said Tails "Just because I had feelings for Fiona doesn't mean I don't like you. I will admit something here Whisper, I'm sure it'll make you feel more comfortable… I always viewed our intimate relationship as something more. And I think I should be thankful that it's growing into something more."

"So… you do see us as your girlfriends?" asked Whisper, sounding like all her dreams have come true "I thought you just viewed all those romps we had as fun."

"Heheh, of course I see you two as my girlfriends" said Tails "But… only if you two want to."

"HECK YEAH!" shouted Tangle, grabbing Tails by the shoulders and kissing him roughly. Tails's eyes widened from the kiss as Tangle pulled away, grinning at him.

"Y… Yes, if that's okay with you Tails, I would like our relationship to be just that" said Whisper "And… I also would like it if Fiona joined too… I actually enjoyed spending time with her last night."

"Heheh… well hopefully after Sally's test tonight, she will be" said Tails, reaching over to stroke Whisper's cheek softly "Darling."

Whisper's ears were pinned to her skull as she blushed so hard, her face was now as hot as the surface of the sun. Tails chuckled at her reaction.

"A threeway relationship?" said Tangle "That sounds like fun."

"Possibly a fourway" Tails reminded Tangle as they kept walking "But let's get the whole ordeal with Sally out of the way first. All we need to do is meet up with Fiona. I'm sure after she's left the Destructix, she'll be waiting back at… MY HOUSE!"

Tails's eyes suddenly bugged out in shock and horror as he and his new girlfriends stood in front of where his house sat. Or at least, what was left of it. Tangle's jaw dropped and Whisper's hands covered her mouth as Tails rushed forward to see the damage that had been done to it.

"What happened!?" he shouted, first walking into his garage. All of his favourite tools were laying on the ground instead of being organised in his favourite way. Drawers had been pulled out and nuts and bolts were laying everywhere. And worst of all, his Tornado was all scratched up, and even a wing was horribly smashed.

"I thought you locked up?" Whisper murmured in shock as she looked around the entire workshop.

"I did!" said Tails, pointing over to one of the walls, which Tangle and Whisper saw that a huge hole had been smashed into it. Tails then walked through the door of his workshop that led to the rest of his house, and it was completely trashed. Chairs and couches had either been turned over, broken or had the stuffing ripped out of them, there was broken china everywhere, windows were smashed, there were even holes in the ceiling that showed more destruction upstairs.

Tails ran through the entire house to see if anything had been stolen. But to his shock, despite his house being destroyed, there was nothing of his that was missing. This wasn't a robbery, this was just a straight up attack on his house. But for what?

"Hey Tails!" came Tangle's voice from back in the workshop "You might wanna see this."

Tails walked back into the workshop to see Tangle and Whisper on his scratched up and broken plane, looking inside the cockpit. Tails climbed up and looked inside too, finding a note attached to the control panel. He quickly picked it up and read it.

"Hey freak" he read "Heard ya stole the heart of my girl. Congrats, your deformed ass finally scored a girlfriend. Unfortunately, I don't take kindly to people taking what's mine. So she's my prisoner now, so if you want to see her again, come get some freak."

Tails stared at the note in horror. The whole plan to get Fiona that pardon had suddenly become a bit more problematic. Scourge had caught on to why Fiona wanted to leave the Destructix, and now he was holding her prisoner."

"Scourge has Fiona, and now he and the Destructix are looking to pick a fight with me" said Tails, dropping the note back into the cockpit.

"What!?" said Whisper, staring at Tails in horror.

"You're kidding me!" said Tangle, to which Tails sadly shook his head.

"Well, I'm not just gonna sit here and clean up after their mess" said Tails, taking the note and sliding off of his plane "If Scourge and the Destructix want me, then that's what they'll get."

"Wait!" said Tangle "From the info you told us about Scourge, he's just like Sonic but evil right? How are you going to beat him, plus a bunch of other bad guys all by yourself!?"

"She's right Tails" whispered Whisper "You can't go about this alone. We must come with you."

"What!?" said Tails "Wait, I don't want to drag you two into this. If you get hurt too, I'll never forgive myself."

"Oh like hell we're sitting back here playing pattycake while you go off and have the fun!" said Tangle "We're coming with you and that's final."

"But…" Tails started, only for Whisper to give him one of her piercing looks to shush him. Clearly these two were serious about coming with him and were not going to take no for an answer. Just like when they wanted to bed him.

"Okay" said Tails, nodding at the two, who smiled.

"Don't worry about us, we can hold our own" said Tangle.

"We will rescue Fiona if it's the last thing we do" murmured Whisper.

Tails looked at the two of them, and couldn't help but smile at their dedication to help him on this rescue mission. Tails looked back at the note to see if Scourge left a place where he could find them. Sure enough, he indeed left a location, an old abandoned Egg Base.

Back at said Egg Base, Scourge was back in the dungeon he had locked Fiona in, grinning down evilly at the tied up vixen who glared up at him. Scourge just kneeled down and gently stroked Fiona's chin.

"You know, you wouldn't be in this situation now if you hadn't gone soft and fallen for that low-life, double tailed loser" said Scourge "And instead, had gotten the information that I needed."

Fiona raised a leg up and launched it forward, giving Scourge a hard kick in the knee. The green hedgehog yelped as he jumped back and held onto his knee, hopping on one foot as he grunted in pain. Fiona snickered through her gaf as Scourge glared down at her.

"We'll see how hard you laugh when I'm through with your new boyfriend" growled Scourge, his evil grin returning "Hope ya like juice Fiona, because I'm gonna crush him like a grape."

Fiona didn't want to admit it, but she didn't have much hope. Sure, Tails wasn't exactly a pushover… she had learnt that the hard way. But at the same time, Scourge was hardcore and would definately rip him limb from limb with no remorse or control. Scourge could also see that doubt in her eyes and smirked.

"Yeah, that's what I thought" said Scourge "And if he's gotten my 'little message' he should be here any minute now. The others aren't like you though, their loyal to me as long as they get what they want. Which is usually a face to rearrange. The boys will soften the little freak up for me before I finish him off."

Scourge would have rambled on if a knock on the upstairs door didn't interrupt him. He raised an eye and left Fiona, resting against a nearby fireplace that kept the room alit. He walked up the stairs and opened the door. Standing at the door, was a fuzzy lynx wearing bright blue gloves and shoes with lightning symbols on them.

"Lightning, what's the news?" Scourge asked him.

"He's arrived!" panted Lightning, looking like he had run all the way here.

"Excellent" said Scourge, cracking his knuckles "The four of you can go ahead and soften him up for me. I'll do the actual…"

"He's not alone!" Lightning interrupted.

"Wait, what!?" Scourge shouted, now looking livid "I thought for sure he'd try to be a big hero and try and save Fiona himself. Argh! Alright, new plan! You four get the Freedom Fighters while I take care of the twerp."

"One little problem" growled Lightning as Scourge shut the door behind him "The girls he has brought with him… well, they don't appear to be Freedom Fighters. I've never seen em before neither!"

"Great" growled Scourge "Not only is my plan screwed up, but now I gotta deal with some new faces!? Gimmie a fucking break!"

The hedgehog stomped towards the roof of the base, where his other Destructix members were, Lightning was quick in his wake. He saw a hawk, frog and gorilla looking down towards the front of the base. Scourge quickly joined them to see what the hell they were looking at.

What he saw was a familiar twin tailed fox looking right back at him with a serious glare written all over his face. And as Lightning described, he was not alone. Standing to his right was a lemur with the longest tail he had ever seen. She looked rather excited to be part of this. To the fox's left was a wolf. He couldn't see the wolf's face behind the mask she was wearing, but she was holding some form of gun-based weapon in her hand.

"Who the hell are those two!?" growled Scourge.

"I don't think it matters that much boss" grunted the gorilla, who seemed to be carefully examining the three of them "What matters is that we do what we need to send them ten feet under. That's not to say we should underestimate them. But at the same time, we hold a numbers advantage here."

"Alright soldier, if you're so tough, why don't you take em?" growled Scourge.

"In no mood for games today?" said the Sergeant "I can respect that. Very well, tell us exactly what you want us to do, and we'll leave you to do your thing."

"That's more my talk" said Scourge, looking down at the three intruders "Alright, Predator, Lightning, you tie that lemur up with her own tail. Simian, Frog, I wanna see you two make that wolf whimper. The freak is mine!"

Lightning and Predator nodded at Scourge before Predator took to the skies and Lightning zoomed away towards the entrance of the base to go meet their foes. Sergeant Simian cracked his knuckles together while Flying Frog began to jump around in crazed excitement.

"Heehee, oh we must be careful" he giggled madly "The big bad wolf might just blow us and our base away."

Scourge facepalmed himself and gave Frog a massive boot, sending him flying off the castle roof and down to meet his foes. Simian followed not soon after, but on his own terms instead of Scourge booting him off the roof. Scourge walked down the steps to join the battle that was about to take place.

"Guess I gotta do a little work here after all" growled Scourge "No matter. This still won't take long."

Tails looked up and saw that Predator Hawk was circling the air above the three of them, looking ready to strike on his next meal. Tangle and Whisper were both in a fighting stance, ready to throw down as soon as any of the Destructix got within swinging range. But Tails's focus was on the door that led inside the base. That door opened up and revealed Scourge and Lightning, who had already zoomed their way to the bottom of the castle. Simian dropped from the sky, making a massive crater in the ground, and Frog landed right next to him, landing smack on his face, but still giggling like a mad man.

"Well, well, well" said Scourge "I expected you to come alone. But not gonna lie. I'm glad you brought some friends to the party. It'll make this even more fun."

Scourge looked at Tangle and Whisper through his shades, smirking at the two of them as they glared back at him.

"And who are these two fine beauties you've brought along with you?" he said.

"A low life, sad, carbon copy of the blue blur does not deserve to know our names" hissed Whisper, aiming her Wispon directly at Scourge. Scourge barley batted an eyelid though as he just smirked at the three of them.

"I'm going to ask you this once" said Tails "Where is Fiona?"

"Heehee, where is Fiona? Where is Fiona?" Frog giggled as he hopped like mad "I want my Fiona."

"That guy looks a few sandwiches short of a picnic" said Tangle, raising an eye of concern at the hopping mad reptile.

"Can't tell you where she is" said Scourge "But I can tell you where she will be. Weeping for your sorry ass at your funeral."

"Ha! Not before we leave you weeping over the bruises we'll leave you with" Tangle taunted.

"As if!" Scourge growled. And before anyone could say anything else, Scourge suddenly zipped away, right behind Tails and delivered a flying kick into his back, sending the fox flying into the base and zooming in after him, leaving Tangle and Whisper to fend off the rest of the Destructix.

"Tails!" cried Tangle, shooting her tail forward to try and catch Scourge before he got too far away. But just as she was about to trip him up, Predator finally swooped down from the sky and grabbed Tangle's tail. He then gave it a vicious yank, making Tangle's body fly towards him. And right before they collided, Lightning rushed forward and delivered a hard side kick straight into Tangle's chest, knocking her to the ground.

Whisper flinched as she watched her closest friend get attacked by the two brutes. She wanted to help her, but knew that if she tried, Simian and Frog would step in and pin her down too. So she decided she would just have to put her faith in both Tails and Tangle and focus on taking down her opponents.

Unlike the others, Simian and Frog didn't attack Whisper straight away. Though Frog was still acting like a freakin' lunatic. But instead, Simian walked straight up to Whisper, who held her ground and kept her Wispon aimed at him as he glared down at her. He was clearly trying to intimidate her, what with being three times her size.

"Run along now little puppy" he grunted "The pound should be looking for you. I'd hate to crush the skull of someone too frightened to show their face."

"Run now! Run! Run like the win!" cried Frog, laughing maniacally as he began to dance around her.

But Whisper still kept still, staring right back up at Simian and making it a point to ignore Frog. The Sergeant raised an eye at her as she stayed completely still, aiming her Wispon directly at his face.

"No? Impressive. I like a girl who can stand her ground" said Simian, reaching a massive hand down to her Wispon to crush it in his hand "But only the strong can survive."

Finally, Whisper moved. She yanked her Wispon away from Simian and quickly her blue Cube Wisp activated and turned her Wispon into a massive hammer. She swung it forward and slammed it straight into Simian's chin, knocking him to the ground with a massive crash, much to his surprise. Frog actually stopped dancing and stared at the wolf in shock.

"Okay" grunted Simian, adjusting his helmet "That's interesting."

"You have no place taunting me" murmured Whisper "Call off the attack, release Fiona, and we may be more merciful."

"Speak up! I can't hear you with all your whispering!" Frog shouted in her ear.

Starting to get frustrated, Whisper aimed her Wispon at Frog and activated her cyan Laser Wisp, a cyan laser shot from the barrel and sent Frog flying away. Simian got back to his feet and cracked his knuckles, now deciding to take the fight more seriously.

"Sorry, I don't command the fights" he said "I just fight them. And win."

The massive gorilla threw a massive punch to Whisper, who quickly dodged out of the way and began running circles around Simian. She fired more lasers directly at him. But unlike Frog, they seemed to only bruise him a little bit as he held his arm in front of him, blocking them. Unfortunately, Whisper was so focused on trying to bring him down, she had forgotten about Frog, who flew back into the field and used both of his feet to knock her away. She quickly caught herself before she tumbled onto her back and resumed fighting two on one.

Back with Tangle, she was facing a similar struggle with her opponents. Predator and Lightning were proving to be a challenge for her. Lightning, while obviously not as fast as Sonic, was still proving to dodge almost every attack she threw out at him, and even if she did find an opening, Predator also seemed to find that opening, and swooped down and blocked it when she had her chance.

"Careful Lightning" laughed Predator "You might make her dizzy."

Lightning also laughed at Predator's little taunt. Finally getting annoyed with the two, Tangle whipped her tail forward and wrapped it around the flying hawk's leg. She then swung her tail around, causing the hawk to cry out as she released him and sent him flying into Lightning, who was too busy laughing in a taunting manner to realise what was going on. The two villains picked themselves up and glared at Tangle.

"You should quit while you're ahead" said Tangle.

"Oh wow, she throws out one successful attack and thinks she's hot shit" said Lightning.

"Let's see how many more she can dish out before we break her" said Predator, taking flight once again and zooming towards Tangle. She was about to try and stop him, but Lightning was quick to speed behind her and wrap her arms around her body, holding her still as Hawk swung one of his fists forward and punched her straight in the face, following it up with an upwards kick into the jaw.

Not letting herself stay trapped for long, Tangle brought her tail to life and used it to wrench Lightning's arms off of her. With her arms free, she held onto Predator's fists to stop him from throwing another punch. Tangle then used the end of her tail to push Lightning off of her. She pinned him to the ground with his tail to keep him still as she focused on trying to overpower Predator. The hawk and the lemur used all of their strength, pushing against each other to try and overpower each other, while Lightning tried to break free from Tangle's grasp.

While things were going semi-okay for Whisper and Tangle, unfortunately, Tails was having the worst luck in his fight, and he was only fighting one person. Of course, it made more sense given who he was fighting. Throughout Tails's whole fight with Scourge, he had not landed a single punch on him. The green hedgehog was really letting him have it. He used his incredible speed to completely blitz Tails, landing several hits on him that he didn't see coming.

The poor fox was being thrown around like a ragdoll, as Scourge didn't give him a chance to fight back. He landed a barrage of punches on Tails, smashed Tails into the ground and spin-dashed on top of him, slammed him against a wall and dragged his face across it and even kicked him into the air, only to kick him right back down again.

Finally, Scourge stopped his barrage, leaving Tails lying on the ground. But by that point, Tails was so beaten and battered that he couldn't even muster the strength to get up. Scourge grinned evilly as he bent down on one knee and grabbed Tails by the scruff of his hair, lifting him up and looking at him dead in the eye.

"You should get a job as my personal punching bag" he cackled "It's way more fun beating the shit out of you than a bag full of beans and pebbles."

Tails coughed from the beating he just took. And Scourge threw him back onto his back and stood up straight. He laughed as Tails grunted in pain.

"Alright, because I'm feeling a tiny bit generous today, and because you've already got your shit rocked, I'll give you one chance" said Scourge "Go on, up ya get you nerdy freak."

Tails slowly stood up, grunting in pain as he wobbled a little on his feet before clutching his arm in pain as he stared at the green hedgehog that he hadn't landed a tiny scratch on yet.

"I'll give ya one shot" said Scourge, raising his arms in a shrugging manner and stayed completely still.

Tails rubbed his arm a little more to try and soothe the pain he felt before taking a deep breath and looking at him dead in the eyes.

"I know I can't beat you in a fight Scourge" said Tails, sounding calm and collected.

"Ha! You really are a smart guy" laughed the green hedgehog.

"But luckily for me…" said Tails, a smirk growing on his face "I don't need this fight to resolve to fisticuffs."

"Huh? What the hell are you… GAH!" Scourge was suddenly sucker punched in the face by a boxing glove that had shot from the ground before springing back down.

"Been a while since I used my Magic Hand" said Tails, raising his arm up in the air. And suddenly his iconic Arm Cannon materialised onto his hand. He aimed it directly at Scourge, who was still recovering from the punch to the nose and fired. A massive ball of energy shot out of the cannon and slammed straight into Scourge, sending him flying into a pile of scrapped Badniks.

"Agh! You little jerk!" growled Scourge.

"Yeah, I'm the jerk" said Tails, rolling his eyes "Kidnapped anyone lately?"

Scourge exploded out of the pile of Badniks and began to charge up another spin-dash. Tails stood his ground and began to charge up his arm cannon again, aiming for the green ball that was ready to launch itself towards him. There was a brief moment of silence as Scourge suddenly spin-dashed towards Tails, while at the same time, Tails fired his cannon at Scourge.

Back with Whisper, she was continuing to try her best at dodging both Sergeant Simian and Flying Frog at the same time. It wasn't too hard to dodge Simian as he was a big guy with strong, but slow attacks. But Frog, being as crazy as he was, as well as being much smaller and quicker than Simian was a whole different back of worms. His attacks came out much faster and put more pressure on Whisper as she continued to duck, roll, jump and dodge out of the way. More often than not she would almost accidentally roll into one of their attacks because she was too busy trying to avoid the other.

"You can't dodge forever" said Simian, launching another punch towards Whisper, who barely rolled out of the way as he slammed his fist into the ground, creating a large crater. Whisper tried to aim her Wispon and fire it at the gorilla, but like all the other times, she was forced to dodge Frog before she got the chance.

"You will either make a mistake, or get tired" Simian continued to taunt as Frog continued to laugh like a maniac as he threw out several quick punches and kicks that Whisper barely rolled away from.

"That's it, I need a time out" whispered the wolf, aiming her Wispon into the air, activating her green Hover Wisp, which carried her away from the two of them, and out of harms way.

"Aww that's no fun!" Frog complained.

But Simian was quick to continue providing pressure for the sweating wolf as he grabbed Frog with one arm, aimed directly at the floating wolf and chucked the frog straight at her. Whisper gasped as Frog activated the wings of his flight suit to fly straight towards the wolf girl. Frog continued to laugh as he tackled Whisper out of the air, causing her to drop her Wispon as the two of them fell to the ground.

Thinking quickly, Whisper reared her head back and launched it back towards Frog hard, making sure her mask slammed directly into his face. Frog finally stopped laughing and cried out in pain. While he was stunned, Whisper grabbed hold of Frog and held him in front of her right before the hit the ground. This caused him to break her fall while she slammed him into the ground. But as the wolf stood up, she stared in horror as Simian was walking towards her dropped Wispon.

"You won't be needing this anymore" said Simian, reaching down and picking up her Wispon. Whisper watched in horror as the gorilla held the Wispon in the palm of his hand and prepared to crush it with his mighty strength.

But just before he crushed it, Whisper's Wisps suddenly emerged from the Wispon and began to fly around the gorilla's head, slamming their bodies into his face and being a nuisance to him.

"Ouch! What the heck are these things" he cried out as he dropped the Wispon as he tried to punch them. But they were too quick for him. Whisper quickly leapt off of Frog's body and grabbed her Wispon. Seeing that she had it back, the Wisps quickly returned to the wolf's Wispon. Simian glared down at the wolf.

"So, you've got a few friends I see," said Simian "Congratulations. You get to die alongside them."

Simian threw another punch, which Whisper dodged by jumping out of the way. She managed to land on Simian's arm, much to the gorilla's surprise. She aimed her Wispon directly at his face and spoke in a furious tone.

"These aliens have sentimental value to me" she growled lowly "And if you lay a finger on them. I'll make you wish you were never born."

"Ooo" Frog chirped from the background "The big bad wolf is getting scar-"

"SHUT UP!" shouted Whisper, redirecting her Wispon at Frog, switching back to the cyan Laser and shooting a lightspeed laser directly at him, sending the lunatic straight into the reinforced wall of the base.

"Seems that the little puppy is getting feisty" said Simian, pulling his arm away and causing Whisper to drop back onto the ground, falling onto her back "Let's fix that."

Simian raised his foot high into the air and brought it down to stomp on her. This time, Whisper was too slow to dodge. She managed to avoid having his whole foot slam down into her, but he completely crushed her leg. She cried out in pain as the gorilla's powerful foot smashed into her leg. He didn't break her leg bone, yet, but he had damaged it enough to make it hard for her to get back up.

Simian smirked evilly, reaching down and picking Whisper up by her cloak and staring straight at her mask. Using his other hand, he used his pinky to flick the mask off of her to see her face for the first time. Whisper was panting, trying to hold back tears from the pain she felt in her leg as she and Simian stared each other down.

Meanwhile, Tangle was still fighting Predator and Lightning. She still struggled against the two, but was doing a little better. She had managed to catch Lightning off guard by attaching her tail to a rock, making it act as an elastic as Lightning ran straight into it and was immediately shot off into the sky by bouncing off of it. And she managed to keep Predator grounded by whipping her tail around his leg and smashing him down into the ground each time he tried to fly away to gain a mobility advantage.

But the other two still held the advantage against her thanks to it being a two on one battle. While Tangle may have kept Predator from flying away into the sky, in doing so, her main focus was on him, which gave Predator the job of keeping her busy while Lightning punched and kicked her in places she didn't see coming.

"She just can't seem to learn" taunted Lightning as he jumped forward as if he just jumped off a spring and slammed both of his feet into Tangle's back, kicking her to the ground, giving her a face full of dirt.

"Gotta admit, this is the most fun I've ever had on the ground" laughed Predator.

Tangle knew she had to change her strategy immediately or suffer the consequences. She looked up and saw Predator attempting to take to the skies again. She was tempted to shoot her tail towards him and stop him again. But she remembered that each time she did that, she was forced to focus on him while Lightning blitzed her. So instead, she let him fly away.

"Ha! Finally" said Predator, zooming high in the sky to get out of Tangle's reach that not even her long tail could reach. But Tangle ignored him and kept her eyes on Lightning, who smirked at her and began to run laps around her. But Tangle didn't let his speed discourage her. She stood completely still.

"Light's out lemur!" came Lightning's voice directly from behind her. That's when she acted. Just as Lightning was about to ram himself directly into her, she jumped out of the way and stuck out her leg. This caused Lightning to cry out in shock as he tripped over Tangle's leg and went flying.

Quick to act, Tangle shot her tail forward and whipped it around Lightning's leg, then with all of her might, she swung her tail upwards and chucked Lightning towards Predator. It was a direct hit as Lightning collided with Predator, knocking him out of the sky. The two villains plummeted into the ground, landing on the not so soft, rocky surface.

"Suckers" she snickered.

But she had not claimed victory yet as an enraged Predator zoomed right towards her and grabbed her by her tail. He then flew high into the air, taking her with him.

"WAH! Hey! Let me go!" she shouted, hanging off her tail as Predator held her.

She flailed her arms and legs, trying to get out of his grasp, but to no avail. She was about to try shouting again when she found herself staring at Lightning, who had just appeared in front of him, looking bruised and pissed. He pulled back one of his fists and launched it in a powerful punch into Tangle. The lemur cried out in pain as her body was sent hurtling backwards from that punch. But with Predator holding her tail, she didn't go very far and was starting to fly back towards Lightning, who looked ready for another punch, to which he delivered, this one harder than the last.

Back with Tails and Scourge, now that the fox had broke out his gadgets, the fight was becoming much more even. Scourge was currently speeding through the entire base, chucking wrecked Badniks at the fox, who blasted them to pieces with his arm cannon. Scourge tried to throw the Badniks where the fox wouldn't see them coming. But Tails dodged or destroyed every single one of them.

After Tails blasted another Badnik to pieces, he looked right at Scourge, who looked livid, and snapped his fingers. His Magic Hand sprung from the ground and punched Scourge straight in the nose again.

"FUCKING DAMMIT!" He shouted, clutching his face in pain "Will you cut that out!?"

Scourge removed his hands from his face and looked around. Tails wasn't where he was a few seconds ago. Looking around sporadically, his eyes spotted an orange blur zooming behind another pile of wrecked mechs.

"Hiding won't protect you squirt" Scourge taunted. The green hedgehog, revved up and sped straight towards the mech pile. Running behind it, he raised his fist for a punch and halted. It wasn't Tails behind the pile, but what was behind the pile did have a striking resemblance to the fox. It was a small robot that had a similar colour scheme to Tails's fur, with orange and white all over it. It didn't have two tails, rather one little coil that acted like it's tail, but it did have a hatch on it's back. The robot looked like Tails if he was a little dog, but also a robot. The robot looked up at Scourge.

"What the hell?" said Scourge, caught off guard as he stared at the little robot dog thing in confusion.

Suddenly the little robot dog let out a series of yaps and leapt up at Scourge, biting at his arms and legs. Scourge cried out and tried to swat the robot away.

"AGH! Get the hell off me you little-! What the heck even are you!?" he shouted. He managed to kick the robot off of him, but before he could crush it with his foot, a little mini helicopter sprouted from the hatch on his back and zoomed away. Scourge watched as it flew behind him and landed down in front of a familiar figure. It was Tails, who pet the robot on the head.

"Good boy T-Pup" he said, earning a playful yap from the robot.

"You think that was funny!?" growled Scourge, glaring at Tails and his pet robot dog.

"Well it made me laugh anyway" shrugged Tails, snapping his fingers again "Kinda like this."

Once again, Tails's spring loaded Magic Hand burst from the pile of Badniks and punched Scourge in the side of his head, knocking his sunglasses of his head, causing them to fall to the ground and break. Scourge clutched the side of his head in pain and stared at Tails with fire in his eyes.

"Fine! You wanna laugh!? Here's a gutbuster for ya!" shouted Scourge, running straight up to the fox and delivering a wicked punch to the gut. Tails nearly lost all the air in his lungs, and kneeled to the ground in pain, unable to counterattack. Luckily, T-Pup was quick to retaliate and bit Scourge hard on the arm.

Scourge howled in pain as he tried to shake T-Pup off of him. Tails quickly dragged himself out of harms way and aimed his arm cannon at Scourge, firing another blast from it. T-Pup was shaken off, but Scourge missed his chance to dodge the giant energy blast that blasted him straight in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Tails managed to stand up, but Scourge got up faster and spin-dashed straight towards the fox. But instead of slamming straight into him, Scourge instead zoomed past him, but at the last second, uncurled from a ball and grabbed the fox by the throat, slamming him against the wall. Tails gasped and clutched at Scourge's hand, trying to pry it off of him as the green hedgehog choked him.

T-Pup yapped and sprang up to bite Scourge again. But Scourge had had enough of that little robot, and just when it got close, he kicked it straight in the face. T-Pup whimpered as it was sent flying into a box full of scraps. With the robotic pet out of the way, Scourge turned back to Tails and continued to choke the life out of him.

Meanwhile, Whisper was hanging upside down. Sergeant Simian was holding her by her injured leg, staring directly into her eyes. He roughly squeezed her injured leg, making the pain burn even more, causing her to gasp out.

"Your gonna be real quiet after we're done with ya" Simian grunted.

Whisper's Wisps once again emerged from her Wispon to try and help her. But this time, the Sergeant wasn't letting them bug him. He raised his other arm in the air, and with one big backhand, he swatted them all away. Whisper stared at her little friends in horror as they were all knocked to the ground, leaving just her and Simian. Now Whisper couldn't even use her Wispon to defend herself.

"You're all out of tricks" said Simian, holding her out in front of her and turning her around. From her upside-down perspective, Whisper saw that Frog had recovered from the laser she shot at him earlier and was looking ready to charge her down like a bull.

"This is going to hurt me more than it hurts you, literally!" laughed Frog, jumping onto the wall behind him, and then jumping off said wall. He once again activated his flight suit and went flying straight towards the helpless Whisper.

As Frog soared her way, Whisper tried to think of anything she could do to try and save herself. But things were looking pretty dire at this moment in time. She still had her Wispon, but her Wisps were currently laying on the floor, utterly helpless.

With nothing else to do but take a blind shot in the dark, Whisper took her Wispon arm, just as Frog was moments away from headbutting her, and slammed it straight into his eye. Frog cried out in pain and clutched his eye in pain, unknowingly falling to the ground and skidding across it, eventually crashing into Simian's legs, causing him to topple over. The gorilla cried out in surprise as he fell over, dropping Whisper in the process. The wolf landed on the ground and quickly crawled towards where her mask laid away from the two of them before they could grab her again.

"I… do not want to do that again" whimpered Whisper, reminiscing on what she had just done.

"So the puppy still has some bite left in her bark" said Simian, standing up.

"Oh this'll bite" murmured the wolf as she managed to stand back up, steadying herself on her injured leg and picking up her mask, placing it back on her face "But not in any way you might think… NOW!"

Without realising it, Frog and Simian saw that the Wisps had recovered and zoomed back to Whisper, returning to her Wispon. Simian tried to act quick and leapt towards her to deliver one last rapid punch, but he was too slow for Whisper, as she activated the orange Rocket Wisp, and fired.

An orange rocket shot straight from her Wispon and exploded on contact, hitting Simian straight in the chest. The impact from the explosion sent him flying over Frog's head, who watched him fall flat on his face right behind him. Simian had been knocked unconscious and didn't get up.

Frog turned back to Whisper, who was now directly in front of him. For once, the reptile was actually frightened, usually he was the one who scared the crap out of people.

"Um… is it too late to talk about this?" he asked, sweating hard.

Whisper didn't respond and instead, raised her Wispon high in the air and brought it back down, clocking Frog square on the head. The impact made Frog cry out and teeter on his feet before falling over unconscious, just like Simian.

"You talk too much" murmured Whisper.

Meanwhile, with Tangle, she was currently in a jam. Predator Hawk had pinned her to the ground, kneeling on her back. He kept her arms pinned to the ground as she cried out in pain. Her tail was being pulled by Lightning Lynx, the two of them seemingly trying to yank it off of her body.

"You can't annoy us with your stupid tail if it's gone!" shouted Lightning, putting in all his might to try and literally rip Tangle's tail off her body. The lemur was still screaming in pain and tried to force Predator off of her. But he had her in a strong grip.

"Hope you can live the rest of your life without your tail" taunted Predator "If we decide to let you live that is."

Tangle tried to use her tail like a whip to try and shake Lightning off her. But before she even got a chance, Predator raised his foot up and stamped on it so she couldn't. She screamed in pain yet again.

"No you don't!" he growled "Your staying right here till we rip this stupid thing off."

"I think it's getting close!" Lightning yelled as he continued to yank at Tangle's tail.

"Gosh, wherever you came from must be a bunch of jerks" growled Tangle "Either that or whatever clan you were apart of just cast you aside and now your mad about it."

Those words set something off within Lightning. The words 'cast you aside' hit him in a whole new way as he remembered what he used to be apart of. The Raiju Clan, led by their ruthless leader, the Bride of the Conquering Storm. But she had banished him from the clan after failing her, twice. Which got him banished, twice. Lightning growled and stopped pulling and instead chucked her tail on the ground, making Tangle gasp in relief as it was released.

"DON'T TALK TO ME ABOUT THE RAIJU CLAN!" he shouted.

"The Raiju saywhatnow?" said Tangle, looking back at Lightning weirdly.

"Uhh, Lightning, this might not be the best…" Predator tried to say, but Lightning didn't listen.

"I TRIED TO PROVE MY LOYALTY! BUT THAT BLUE HEDGEHOG RUINED EVERYTHING FOR ME!" shouted Lightning, punching a nearby wall of rock in rage.

"Uhh… blue hedgehog? Well… you don't know, maybe he had a reason?" said Tangle, knowing exactly who Lightning was talking about.

"DO YOU THINK I CARE ABOUT WHATEVER WORLD THAT JERK HAD TO SAVE!?" shouted Lightning.

"Dude! Now's not a good-" Predator tried to speak again, but this time, Tangle was the one to interrupt by bringing her tail back to life and wrapping it around his head. She threw him away towards the reinforced wall of the Eggbase. Tangle made Predator hit the wall headfirst, knocking him out cold. She then cautiously walked to Lightning.

"Hey, hey, it's alright" said Tangle "It's in the past now… and do you really think it's fair to blame Sonic for everything he did?"

"YES!" shouted Lightning, glaring directly at Tangle, not even taking into account that she had just knocked out his teammate.

"Well, I don't think that's fair at all" said Tangle "I think the people you should really be mad with are your own clan. I mean, you tried your best to defeat him right?"

"Y… Yeah" growled Lighting, crossing his arms and turning away from her.

"Well you should be proud of yourself for doing the best you could" said Tangle, putting on an encouraging tone "And if your clan can't see that, then they are awful people for just casting you aside instead of training you to become better."

Lightning listened to Tangle's words and let them sink in. Did she have a point? Was it really the Raiju Clan and Conquering Storm he should be mad at instead of Sonic? As much as it made him want to barf, Sonic probably didn't want him to be banished from his clan.

"You know what? Your right!" said Lightning "The Raiju's, especially our Bride, are just a big buncha jerks! They shouldn't have banished me! They should have seen this as a sign to further train me to become a better soldier for them!"

Tangle didn't know whether to take advantage of Lightning's vulnerability or just continue to encourage him. Obviously she wanted to end this fight now so she could go help Tails save Fiona. But this poor guy was clearly in need of someone to talk to, and having spent a lot of her time with Whisper and hearing her harsh background with the Diamond Cutters and the backstabbing Mimic, she couldn't help but feel similar sympathy for Lightning, even if he was a bad guy.

"Maybe it's not too late to make them change their mind?" suggested Tangle "Maybe they'll take you back if you show them how flawed their logic is?"

"Well… I dunno…" shrugged Lightning, who had completely forgotten about the fight all together.

"I think you deserve a second chance" said Tangle.

"Uhh… third chance" Lightning admitted.

"Well, whatever chance it is, you deserve it" said Tangle "Get out there and show them what you're made of."

"Yeah. Yeah!" said Lightning, starting to get pumped up again "I'll show em what I'm made of, and then they'll take me back."

And just like that, Lightning ran away, seemingly off to head on back to the Raiju Clan so that he could show them what he was made of in hopes of them taking him back again.

"You know he's going to be super mad at you if that doesn't work right?" came a familiar quiet voice from behind her. Tangle turned around and saw Whisper limping towards her. She quickly ran up to her and wrapped one of Whisper's arms around her so she could support her.

"Yeah I know" sighed Tangle "But with the way he was so unfairly treated, it kind of reminded me of you with your backstory, remember Whisper?"

Whisper remembered the day all too clearly when she told Tangle about how she lost the Diamond Cutters to a traitor. She closed her eyes and sighed and nodded.

"Still, we must be wary in case his clan does not take him back" whispered the wolf "If that happens, he is sure to come for you."

"Well whatever wins the fight now is what's important" said Tangle.

"Yeah… winning the fight" murmured Whisper, feeling like she was forgetting something. Then suddenly, it hit the two of them like a truck. Tails was probably still fighting Scourge. With that in mind, they left the other Destructix outside to sleep off the beating they took and ran inside the base to go and find Tails and Scourge.

Meanwhile, Tails was laying on the ground, completely battered and bruised, with Scourge standing right in front of him. He weakly looked at his arm where his arm cannon was strapped. It had been badly damaged after Scourge had gotten a hold of him. In a last ditch effort, Tails weakly snapped his fingers again to try and hit Scourge with his Magic Hand. But this time, Scourge dodged the spring loaded boxing glove. He then grabbed it and used all of his strength to rip the glove right off of the spring, breaking the Magic hand entirely.

"All out of toys?" Scourge taunted "Gotta say, you actually impressed me you freakazoid fox. But your out of luck now."

Tails looked weakly behind Scourge and saw that T-Pup laid on the ground, whimpering as the helicopter within it's body had been badly damaged so now he couldn't help. He needed repairs. Repairs that were likely not going to come. Scourge was right, Tails was indeed out of gadgets and had nothing left to throw at the green hedgehog.

"You know, killing you right here won't be enough for me" said Scourge "As satisfying as it would be to crush your skull. I think it would be even more so if I did it in front of Fiona."

Tails gasped as Scourge picked him up by the scruff of his neck and dragged the beaten fox through the base. The fox tried his hardest to muster the strength to escape, but it was no use. Scourge had beaten him so hard that he had no strength left to break free. And with all his gadgets and T-Pup in serious need of repairs, he had nothing left.

Finally, Scourge had brought Tails to the door that led down to the dungeon where he locked up Fiona. He was just imagining the look on Fiona's face when she would look up and see him throw the fox down at her feet, before jumping up and landing on his back. The fear on her face would almost be as delicious as crushing the fox's spine.

But when he unlocked the door, he was met with one hell of a surprise, and so was Tails. Fiona was gone. All that was left was the rope he had tied her up with and the ball gag she had in her mouth. But there was no sign of the red fox anywhere. But Scourge and Tails did notice a few notable burn marks in the rope. Scourge growled, this was obviously because he had left her resting by the fireplace.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" shouted Scourge, throwing Tails like a ragdoll. The fox cried out in pain as he tumbled down the stairs and landed flat on his face.

"Fine! Whatever, I don't need her around here anyway" growled Scourge, stomping down the stairs "I'll get enough satisfaction out of killing you right here, right now."

Scourge stomped right past Tails, who was still trying to recover from the beating he took. Scourge walked over to the burnt ropes and picked some of them up. He then walked back to the fox and grabbed both of his arms by the wrists. Using the rope, he tied them behind his back. Tails wondered what he was up to.

"Anyone for some roasted fox for dinner?" said Scourge, picking Tails up and eyeing the fireplace where he had left Fiona. Tails's eyes widened in fear and he immediately began to struggle against the ropes to get free. But Scourge still picked him up with no effort and walked towards the fire, a burning, crazed look in his eyes.

"Stop! You're crazy!" shouted Tails.

"Sure I am, what's your point!?" Scourge growled as he prepared to throw the fox into the fire.

"The point is you're a fucking lunatic!" shouted a female voice from behind the two of them. Before Scourge could turn around to see who was talking, a hard boot slammed itself into the back of his head, knocking him out cold as he dropped the tied up fox and landed on the ground.

Tails grunted as he landed on the ground. He groaned in pain as he felt a pair of hands begin to untie him. Upon feeling the rope leave his hands, Tails slowly rolled onto his back to see who had saved him. His first thoughts were Tangle and Whisper. But he soon found that he was completely off.

"Fiona?" he said.

"Holy fuck Tails" said Fiona "You look messed up! Are you okay."

"Yeah… yeah, I'm fine" said Tails "Really, I've taken worse beatings than this."

"You sure?" said Fiona.

"I'm sure" insisted Tails "How did you escape?"

"After that asshole left to go take you down, he left me against that fireplace" said Fiona, indicating the fireplace where Tails had almost met his demise "So I used the fire to burn the ropes so that they would be weak enough to break out of. But when I finally got free, I heard footsteps, so I hid under the stairs. And… you know the rest."

"Yeah… I do" said Tails, looking up at her "Thanks by the way."

"You sure I shouldn't be thanking you for saving me?" asked Fiona, giving Tails a sly smirk.

"You pretty much saved yourself" said Tails "I just stalled Scourge for long enough for you to escape. I only hope Tangle and Whisper took care of the other Destructix."

"They're here too?" asked Fiona, looking surprised.

"Yeah, after we visited Sally this morning, we went home and found Scourge's note about wanting to fight me" said Tails "They wouldn't let me go alone. I hope they didn't get hurt. I didn't want to drag them into this."

"I'll admit, that fight did sting a little" came a voice from behind them "But nothing we couldn't handle."

The two fox's looked up and saw Tangle, who was still supporting the still injured Whisper. Both the wolf and the lemur smiled down at Tails and Fiona, who both smiled back at the two of them.

"Impressive" said Fiona "You two took down four of the toughest people I know, props to you for that."

"We couldn't let Tails have all the fun" said Tangle "And even though the fight was tough, it… was… still… AWESOME!"

"Better for some than others" murmured Whisper, growling a little whenever she stood on her injured leg.

"Well it was all to save Fiona to make sure she could come stay with us" said Tails "I promise to make it up to you two tonight."

"Wait. Stay with you?" said Fiona "You mean… Sally gave me that pardon?"

It was then Tails felt something connect in his brain. He had completely forgotten about the pardon he was supposed to get Fiona. He had been so busy saving her he had forgot that he had to bring Fiona to Sally tonight to answer some questions to see if she would let her go free.

"Well… not quite" said Tails "I did try my hardest, but she seems to want to ask you some questions first before she pardons you."

Fiona's heart sank a little bit at that, and she actually looked a little frightened. Tangle, Whisper and Tails could see the worry in her eyes. Tangle and Whisper quickly went to join Tails to comfort her.

"It'll be okay" said Tangle.

"It's not over just because you two have a bad history" murmured Whisper.

"You don't know how badly I pissed off Sally because of the things I did" said Fiona.

"Fiona, they're right" said Tails "It's been years now. Sally has got to have gotten over it by now. All you have to do is answer some honest questions, and you'll be fine."

"Well… you three seem to have confidence" said Fiona, relaxing a little bit as she stood up, and also helped Tails to his feet "Maybe you're all right."

"Then what are we waiting for!?" said Tangle, already striding up the stairs in triumph of their fight, the other three were soon to follow.

Later that night, Tangle, Whisper and Tails sat outside the throne room inside the Castle of Acorns. Fiona was currently inside, alone with Sally. Even though the three of them admitted to having confidence in Fiona, they now had to admit, some of it might have been all talk. They were actually worried that Sally would keep her grudge against Fiona and have her locked up again.

Those thoughts kept them at the edge of their seats as they waited for the conversation between the two to finish. Tails paced back and forth outside the throne room doors, Tangle was biting her nails through her own gloves, and Whisper just watched Tails pace back and forth anxiously, which didn't help her own anxiety about Sally possibly saying no to the pardon and arresting Fiona.

Finally, it seemed that they were about to see what was about to happen. The doors made a loud creaking sound as the opened, revealing a very familiar regal chipmunk, and a beautiful red vixen. Something that made Tangle, Whisper and Tails's hearts sink was the object that was around Fiona's wrists. A pair of handcuffs. Fiona had been handcuffed and Sally was holding onto the back of her crop top. Sally's eyes landed on Tails in an apologetic manner.

"I'm sorry, Tails" she said.

Yeeeaaahhhh, sorry, we're leaving on another cliffhanger. Bet I've gotcha at the edge of your seats now eh?

So how did I do for my first fic that focused solely on fighting? I tried my hardest to write this fic in a way that would make it feel like an actual fight you would see in an Archie or IDW comic, (Even though a fight between Tails, Tangle, Whisper and the Destructix will never happen). I really hope I did a good job here and even though there was no sex in this fic, I hope you still enjoyed this fic for what it was.
