"Luke answered "That's got to be an imperial star destroyer. He is on that ship. "Leia warned "We must go. Beru and Owen you must leave now! They will send stromtroopers here that will kill you just for meeting us. "Leia warned
They started towards the Tantive IV, and the Lars got in their speeder and left for anchorhead. On the Devastator Darth Vader starred at the planet below him. He hated the sight of it. The captain approached him. "We have located the princess's ship on the surface of the planet. It has taken off and is moving towards space. "The captain said "What are you going to do about it? "Vader asked "We are launching a squad of Tie fighters to intercept the ship. "The captain explained "Good. Once the ship is brought down send a detachment down to retrieve the plans. The Tantive IV lifted off but did not climb into space. Leia flew it along the ground. "Why don't you go up and jump into hyperspace? "Luke asked "That imperial star destroyer would have a tractor beam on us before we could jump. Tie fighters started attacking the ship. "We need to lose those Tie's "Leia warned She looked at her screen showing terrain ahead and pointed at something. "What is this area ahead of us? "Leia asked Luke "It's Beggar's Canyon. I raced through there in my T-16, and they use to have pod races there until they were outlawed. This ship is too big to fit in there. "Luke answered "Just watch me, Luke. "Luke smiled as she headed into Beggar's Canyon with the Tie fighters following. Leia swerved around one right turn and then a left turn. A tie fighter struck the wall and exploded. The Tantive IV's guns shot down several more. Leia squeezed under an arch and around another turn causing more tie fighters to crash. She headed for a narrow opening and turned the ship on its side causing the radar dish on top to be knocked off. "The odds of successfully navigating Beggar's Canyon are 1,000,000 to 1 "C3P0 groaned "Never tell me the odds. In fact, never tell anyone the odds. "Leia shouted "Your father will have your head for that damage. "Captain Antilles groaned. They cleared the canyon with no tie fighters behind them. She swung around and over the canyon. Leia used a tractor beam to pick up the radar dish and pull it into the ship. She flew away from the canyon. "We need to land and repair the ship. Baal has a docking bay in Mos Eisley we can use. "Leia explained and Mos Eisley was exactly where she wanted to go. The Tantive IV landed in the docking bay in Mos Eisley. Workers were unloading the radar dish when the group came down the ramp.
"How long will it take to repair that? "Princess Leia asked "3 hours at the least. More star destroyers arrived overhead your highness "A worker replied "Great we are stuck here. Won't take long before the place is crawling with stormtroopers. "Leia groaned "Mos Eisley spaceport. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. "Obi Wan warned Leia put her hood up. "I have an idea. We can hire a ship to take the droids to Alderaan. The empire won't notice it. Obi Wan I can handle myself "Leia replied. As they leave the docking bay, they passed docking bay 94. Leia already knew what ship they was there however went on. Leia knew exactly who she looking for to take the droids and she knew where to find him. Leia let Obi Wan lead the group towards the cantina.
