Obi Wan was training Luke using a training remote that Leia had used to practice her marksmanship. Princess Leia walked into their quarters. "Remember a jedi can feel the force flowing through them. Luke started training again. At first, he got hit by the remote. Then he started following it and blocked its shots. Luke deactivated his Lightsaber. "I thought I could see the remote. The Tantive IV exited hyperspace and began to descend towards Alderaan. For Leia it was a home coming she thought she would never see again. Han was talking to Baal Organa. "Princess Leia hired me to bring her droids here. She said the R2 unit was carrying information vital to the rebellion and her ship was damaged. "Han said Baal saw the droids standing near Han. "Father that the smuggler I hired to bring the droids here in case we couldn't make it off Tatooine. We owe him 25,000 credits. "Princess Leia explained
"Leia where did you get that lightsaber? Did Obi Wan train you? "Baal asked
"No, he didn't. This will be hard to understand. I came from the future back to this point in time somehow. I was about to become one with the force and then I was on the Tantive IV over Scarif. That is how I managed to avoid being captured this time. I was trained in the original timeline by my brother Luke. That is why I have a lightsaber and know how to use the force. "Leia explained "I still can't figure who or what sent me back here. "Leia said "I will download the plans from R2D2 and look at them later. "Baal said "You have to look at them now. In the original history the death star destroyed Alderaan. I was forced to watch it from the death star by Darth Vader. It could be coming soon. "Leai warned "Alright we will look at them now. "Baal replied They headed into the palace and R2D2 was plugged into a computer to download the plans. The outline of the Death Star appeared on the screen.
The group looked through the plans for a weakness. Soon they found the thermal exhaust port. "That is, it. Just like last time. "Leia explained "How do we deal with it? "Baal asked "Get some snub fighters from Yavin 4 and fast. Get one for Luke and let him hit the port just like last time. "Leia explained 'Hurry that thing could already be on its way. "Leia warned "Princess you should get in the Tantive and leave for Yavin 4. "Baal said "No I am staying. Why should I live while everyone else dies? Han was putting his reward on the Falcon when Luke and Leia came. "So, you got your reward and are leaving. "Luke said "Yeah, I have some old debts to pay off with this stuff. Besides attacking that battle station isn't my idea of fun. It's more like suicide "Han groaned "They could use a good pilot like you and you're turning your back on them. A rebel mon Calamari cruiser jumped out of hyperspace and moved into position above Alderaan. A shuttle landed on the planet and took Luke to the cruiser. Leia waited in a command center with Baal. The Death Star exited hyperspace near Alderaan and the rebel fighters were launched. Klaxons sounded on the Darth Star.
"They were waiting for us. How did they know we would be here? "Grand Moff Tarkin groaned
"There must be some force sensitive people in the rebellion who foresaw this. "Darth Vader answered
The three Y-wings headed for the trench leading to the exhaust port while the X-wings flew cover. Inisde the Death Star Darth Vader was approached by an officer. "We count no more then thirty ships my lord, but they are so small they are evading our turbo lasers. "The officer said "We will have to destroy them ship by ship. Get the crews to their fighters. "Vader ordered
"Switch to targeting computer. "Gold leader said as the targeting computer was lowered in front of him. He was the two red lines move closer and closer to each other.
"Several fighters have broken off from the main group. Cover me. "Vader ordered two tie pilots as they walked to their ships. Vader's Tie Advanced and Two other Tie's took off from a hanger and headed into the action. Vader and his wingmen entered the trench and approached the Y-wings from behind.
"I will take them myself cover me. "Vader ordered "Yes sir "a wingman replied
Vader watched his targeting computer until a Y-wing was locked on and then he fired destroying it. The two remaining Y-wings continued towards the exhaust port.
"Stay on target Stary on target. "The Y-wing wingman said gold leader was nearing the exhaust port. The red lines met in the middle of the screen, and he fired his proton torpedoes. Vader shot and destroyed his ship. The torpedoes missing the port and hit the surface to the left of it. Leia was angry.
"Let Luke make the next run now! The computer can't hit the exhaust port! "Leia shouted over the comm. "Alderaan in range. "An officer called. "You may fire when ready. "Tarkin ordered
"I am starting my run now. "Luke called over the comm. "Stop let Red Leader go ahead of you Red 5. He has more experience. "The rebel officer said "No I must do this or Alderaan is gone. "Luke replied
"Just like beggar's canyon back home. "Luke said as he Biggs, and Wedge entered the trench and started towards the exhaust port. The three X-wings race down the trench. Luke starts using his targeting computer. Ben reaches through the force to him "Use the force, Luke. Let go Luke. "Obi Wan says. Luke turns off his targeting computer.
"His computer is off. Luke, you switched off your targeting computer what is wrong? "A rebel controller asks "Nothing I am alright. "Luke answers Luke smiles as she knows he is about to hit the port. Vader and his wingmen come up behind Luke. Vader fires and damages Wedge's X-Wing.
"I am hit. "Wedge says "You can't do any good back there. "Luke replies Wedge flies away "Sorry "Wedge replies. Vader focuses on Luke "The force is strong with this one.
"Alderaan is now in range. "An officer on the death star calls out. "You may fire when ready. "Grand Moff Tarkin orders. "Commence primary ignition" is heard on the intercom. Gunners in remote stations start pushing buttons and pulling levers. Suddenly one of Vader's wingmen is hit from behind and explodes. "Look out" the other wingman warns as he loses control of his tie fighter and crashes into Vader's sending him spinning out of control. "Your all-clear kid now let's blow this thing and go home. "Han shouts into his headset. Luke fires his proton torpedoes, and they enter the exhaust port. The group flies away from the Death Star. A gunner puts the final lever. The beams start to come together on the main focusing dish and then boom. The Death Star explodes. Darth Vader regains control of his tie advanced and flies away. Luke and Han return to Alderaan. Palpatine is enraged by the lose of the death star.
Leia celebrates in the control room. She pumps her fist "Not this time Tarkin! "Leia shouts and smiles
