Hi... I'm new here on fanfiction.net and these, though not my first attempts at writing, are the first I have placed on the Internet. So be nice! I don't own any of the characters in this plot. However, the plot is mine! All mine! And none of you can take that away! Umm, sorry for that outburst. This is a Mimi and Jyou story and ummm... yeah, that's pretty much it. Now, may I present...
Heart's Song
Prologue
"Come on, Yamato! Please!"
Yamato thought to himself for a moment. 'One rarely sees Kido Jyou begging on his knees,' he thought amusedly.
"Okay, I'll do it."
"Arigatou!"
Chapter 1
"I think you're ready, Jyou! After three months of pure torture to my ears, I think you're ready!" Yamato looked very, very relieved as he complimented Jyou. Jyou blushed at the applause he received from Taichi, Koushirou, Takeru, Daisuke, Iori, and Ken, plus their respective digimon.
"That was pretty good, Jyou! Even better than my singing! Those lessons from Yamato-san really paid off!" Daisuke exclaimed.
"Daisuke, anyone's singing is better than yours," Takeru mumbled.
"Are you saying I have bad singing?! Why, I ought to take your hat!" Daisuke began to chase Takeru around the warehouse in which Yamato's band, the Teenage Wolves, usually practiced. "Take that back, Takeru! Take it back!"
"Never!"
"Argh!!! Come back here so I can pulverize you!" The other chosen Children sweatdropped as they watched the two run back and forth in front of them, Daisuke running as fast as he could, fire spouting out of his ears and Takeru laughing, holding on to his hat and still outstripping his friend/rival quite easily.
"This will never end. And if it does, it will culminate in Daisuke fainting from exhaustion. He's not in as good shape as he is in soccer season." Ken said to the bystanders.
"You know, Ken, sometimes I think you're psychic. You took the words straight out of my mouth." Koushirou said.
Taichi and Yamato stopped the two who were still dashing around and got them to calm down. Eventually. daisuke was sulking and Takeru was having a hard time suppressing his laughter. After Yamato finished threatening Takeru, He turned back to Jyou and said, "I think it's time you met the members of my band."
Okay, so it's short. Don't worry, I'll get the conclusion out soon. Just need to type it... I still need to get Mimi back in the story, too! I haven't even mentioned any of the girls yet. Well, until next time, Misty S.
