Yusuke

It started with Yusuke asking Akira for a boost to see the garden over the fence instead of through the fence. There were probably more practical solutions than Akira picking him up piggyback style, but Yusuke insisted. Personally, Akira is pretty sure it's just because it means Yusuke can just see over the fence while leaning his sketchpad on Akira's head. It's not actually a surprising revelation.

Akira fidgets in place, shifting from one foot to the other. The edge of Yusuke's sketchpad prods the top of his head.

"Stillness, please, Akira."

"Either you deal with me moving or you deal with my legs going numb and both of us landing on the ground," Akira replies.

Yusuke gives the matter a few seconds of thought before deciding, "Very well, then. As you were."

Yusuke leans the sketchpad against Akira's head again and carries on drawing. After fifteen minutes of fidgeting and pencil scratching and odd looks from passersby, the sketchpad is abruptly thrust in front of Akira's face from above.

"What do you think?"

The drawing is still recognizable as the garden that Akira could glimpse through the fence, though with Yusuke's usual flair. On top of that, he apparently decided that the setting was a bit too mundane and had transplanted the flowers into an oasis of swirling graphite.

"Pretty good. Could use a bit of color, though."

"You're probably right," Yusuke agrees, pulling the sketchpad out of Akira's face.

The next goal is most likely going to be to head to Yusuke's dorm room for his water colors. Akira starts walking without any prompting. Yusuke makes no attempt to get down.

"And some glitter."

"Absolutely not."
