"Man is it going to be one of those boring days again?" Mheetu complained
"Well at least there is no chaos" Malka said
"But it's boring" Mheetu replied
"Well I actually like this you know just relaxing with no signs of bad guys" Haraka said
"Everyone! I saw something that could be a threat!" Juu exclaimed
"What is it? Is it the hyenas again?" Malka asked
"Not exactly, Follow me" Juu replied while the guard followed her
"I wonder where she is? Not gonna lie I'm impressed that she managed to hide herself this long" A lioness said
"There they are! Rogue lions in the pride lands!" Juu said
"Hey you! What brings you all to the pride lands?" Malka asked
"Oh look who it is Malka the leader of the lion guard" The lioness smirked
"How did you know who I am?" Malka asked
"The name's Zira and i did not come here looking for trouble... I'm looking for a certain someone that I feel like is hiding here" Zira added
"And who are you looking for?" Malka asked
"None of your business now let us be" Zira growled
"Don't come near the pridelands again or else! You don't belong here!" Malka threatened
"Well fine perhaps I can tell you.. I'm looking for a cub named Tama I will leave your precious pridelands if you bring me to her!" Zira replied
"What do you want from her?? You don't look like that you're going to be so kind" Malka asked
"Well this is your last chance Malka someone like you wouldn't want to die this early" Zira threatened
"I won't back down Zira! I'm not afraid of you and you certainly wouldn't want to deal with us!" Malka growled
"Well perhaps we could talk about this later.. See you soon Malka" Zira said before running away
"She's weird" Mheetu said
"And kinda creepy" Haraka added
"Why did we leave? Are we doing what a mere cub says?" A lioness complained
"No of course not!" Zira hissed
"Then why did we leave?" The lioness asked
"You'll see just wait and watch.." Zira replied
"Nah that crazy lioness wouldn't be that bad what is she going to do?" Mheetu said with a grin
"I heard she eats cubs" Haraka said
"R-really?!?" Mheetu gasped
"Of course not!" Haraka laughed
"Hey Tama!" Malka called
"Oh hey there Malka" Tama replied
"Can we uhh.. Hang out?" Malka asked
"No thanks I'm good" Tama replied
"Are you sure?" Malka asked
"Yeah, and what's going on lately? You look funny" Tama asked
"I'm fine, are you sure about that? we can hunt together!" Malka suggested
"Malka everyone here knows that you are bad at hunti-" Mheetu tried to say while Malka covered his mouth
"You in?" Malka asked
"Nah I like to hunt alone" Tama replied
"Really? That's kinda sad.." Gumu said
"I'm fine I actually prefer being alone" Tama replied
"No Tama just think about it, it will be fun" Malka insisted
"Fine, just this time" Tama replied
"You won't regret this Tama!" Malka said
"And you guys should take a rest, Consider the patrol done" Malka added
"This day was boring anyway" Mheetu replied
"Okay Simba you lead the hunt" Sarabi said
"Hey you guys ready?!" Simba asked
"I'm ready if you are Simba you're our leader" Tojo replied
"Can we just get this over with and focus on more fun stuff now?" Chumvi complained
"Come on Chumvi focus" Simba replied
"Simba is going to be so impressed on how I hunt those gazelles!" Tojo said
"Just wait until he sees what a tracking tracker and a pouncy pouncer I can be" Tojo added
"Yeah sure" Chumvi said
"Oh look Queen Sarabi's looking! You better show yourself how tough you are now" Chumvi added
"Oh really?!?... Uhh... growl!" Tojo replied
"Do I seriously have to hunt with those two?" Tama asked
"Don't worry you'll get used to it" Malka replied
"Alright guys follow me!" Simba commanded
The two cubs followed Simba however Tama also joined in overshadowing the two
"Who does she think she is? Hunting besides the future king!" Tojo complained
"Who cares? Hunting is so boring let the girl hunt for us" Chumvi replied
"Isn't she the outsider? Why is she even here?" Tojo said
"Ask Malka" Chumvi replied
"You ready?" Simba asked before roaring
"And stop!" Sarabi announced
"Wait what?" Tama whispered
"Good tracking kills Simba you're improving" Sarabi said
"But the gazelle got away!" Tama said
"Of course it did we are still training for Simba's first hunt" Sarabi replied before leaving "Come on boys"
"Hold up, I don't get to eat?! What's the point of hunting if I don't get to eat?!" Tama asked blocking Malka's way
"Uhh.. You got to hang out with us" Malka replied "Isn't that better than hunting alone?"
"If I hunt alone I get to eat, and if I hunt with someone I don't get to eat so I'd rather be alone!" Tama snapped "Also what's with you lately? You've been acting weird"
"I just thought you'd be happier if you hang out with us" Malka replied
"Do I look happier!?" Tama asked with anger
"Not really..." Malka replied
"I like being alone Malka, and I enjoy it! And you know what I'd never wanted to be more alone than I do right now!" Tama snapped before leaving
"Tama wait!" Malka called
"What is going on with him lately? Normally he isn't like this" Tama asked herself
"Oh hello there Tama"
"Z-zira?!" Tama gasped
"I messed up Mheetu what am I going to do now that Tama is mad at me?" Malka asked
"Don't worry Malka, you can just get a new girlfriend" Mheetu replied
"What?!? Oh come on Mheetu it's not like that!" Malka protested
"Yeah sure, but come on it'll be fine just give it time" Mheetu replied
"Malka leader of the Lion Guard" A vulture showed up
"Who are you? And you're not supposed to be here!" Malka demanded
"The name's Mzingo, And calm down little prince I'm just here to send a message" Mzingo replied
"What message?! Coming from who?!?" Malka asked
"Zira and she wants to meet you at the outlands... Alone" Mzingo replied
"For what?!? Give me a reason to why I should go to the outlands!" Malka asked
"Well.. She got Tama so if you don't go she will most likely kill her" Mzingo replied
"What?!? Where is she?!?" Malka demanded
"Like again in the outlands you need to meet Zira to discuss some negotiations" Mzingo replied and left
"Grrr" Malka stomped his paw in frustration "I hate that crazy lioness already"
In the outlands
"Zira! I'm here alone like you asked" Malka announced
"Very well, we really do need to discuss something together.." Zira replied
"That's why I'm here! Where is Tama?! And who are you even supposed to be?!" Malka demanded
"So many questions" Zira replied with a grin "I suppose Mufasa hasn't told you about the story about the legendary war between the outlanders and the pridelanders"
"I never heard of that war.." Malka replied
"Well you know this war happened years ago even before your father was born" Zira recalled
"We were once a united pride however the pridelanders were way too soft and weak that they would willingly support the circle of life that is limiting our power as Lions!" Zira added
"The circle of life is important!" Malka hissed
"No.. No it isn't, its a system that is holding us back we lions should have all the freedom to dominate every animal!" Zira continued
"And then the pridelanders were way too weak so we tried to take over the pridelands to abolish the circle of life to finally free priderock from such an outdated system but we failed.. However we will never give up one day our goals will be implemented" Zira concluded
"That will never happen!" Malka growled
"Oh Malka.. You know there is no need for hostility one day you will understand that we as lions could be more... And that's why I'm asking you to join us" Zira replied
"Never!" Malka hissed
"Well looks like you won't get Tama back" Zira replied
"Bring her back or else!" Malka threatened
"Don't even dare to use the roar on us.. If you do you will lose it, using the roar on lions is prohibited and you would lose the roar by doing so" Zira said
"Wait what?! I don't believe you!" Malka replied
"Have the pridelanders told you how Scar lost his roar? As the leader of the lion guard he roared at his fellow lions like us and then he lost the roar" Zira chuckled
"That's.. Impossible I don't believe you" Malka replied
"Well then do it.. Roar on us and you will lose it" Zira suggested
Malka was conflicted what if it was actually true? What if he lost the roar? Losing the roar would mean that he would lose his status as the leader of the lion guard.
"...alright fine tell me about your pride.." Malka said
"That's what I thought" Zira chuckled
"You know Malka we could be a good team as lions and we will finally unite the two prides to end this war" Zira added

"Zira I just want to know where Tama is" Malka asked
"And that's why we're here to talk" Zira replied
"Malka! I am sorry!" Tama apologised
"It's fine Tama I just need you to get out of here" Malka replied
"No there is something I haven't told you" Tama added
"Lets talk about that later.." Malka said
"So Malka have you decided?" Zira asked "You join us and Tama will be saved, and if you don't then she is good as dead"
"You have no power Malka without the roar you are nothing but just a little brat" Zira added
"Without the roar you will lose"
"You are nothing but just a random little cub"
"Well Zira I have made my decision.." Malka said
"What is it?" Zira asked with a grin
"Till the pridelands end"
"Lion Guard Defend"
The Lion Guard showed up much to Zira's surprise the lion guard fought against Zira's lionesses and won.
"You said you were alone!" Zira hissed
"Well.."
"Hey Lion Guard I have to go to the outlands!" Malka announced
"Really? Why?" Haraka asked
"I have to save Tama the lions we met earlier took her" Malka replied "And I have a plan"
"Juu follow me in the outlands and when you hear the signal the lion guard will attack!" Malka commanded
"Will do Malka" Juu replied
"You brat!" Zira hissed
"You have nothing left Zira!" Malka growled
"A Lion Guard with only 2 lions?!? Pathetic!" Zira spat "Stand tall my lions we have this cubs and different animals outnumbered"
Alot of lionesses joined in and outnumbered the guard there was no other choice.
"Uhh Malka.. Maybe we could use that roar now" Mheetu said
"No I can't use the roar against other lions, that's how uncle Scar lost the roar" Malka replied
"Says who?" Mheetu asked
"Says her" Malka replied
"And you believe her? Do you really believe what the bad guy says?" Mheetu said
"Believe me Malka, you certainly wouldn't want to lose your title early" Zira grinned
"I don't believe you" Malka replied
"Oh no you wouldn't!" Zira hissed
"Well here goes nothing" Malka whispered
Malka roared sending the outlanders flying however he wasn't so sure about it he was willing to sacrifice his title to save his friends, but to his surprise he actually still got it after using the roar at lions Zira was a liar.
"See told you, Everything will be fine" Mheetu said
"I guess so.." Malka replied
"Tama!" Malka called "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine.. There is something I really need to tell you" Tama replied
"Let's talk about it when we get home" Malka suggested
In the Lion Guard Lair
"Ever since I was born I was trained to be a killer by Zira and her lionesses I never met my real parents Zira was the closest thing I had to a parent, but even then she wasn't the parent you would want to have she always forced me to be in her harsh trainings and talking about why the circle of life is a bad thing that is holding us back as Lions" Tama remembered
"I never wanted to be in there and wanted to leave so I did, when I left I was worried that they might hurt me more if they found me again" Tama sobbed
"I never wanted to be with Zira however I believed that the pridelanders are nothing but an evil entity that has to be destroyed I just didn't want to join them, I wanted to be myself.. That was until I met you" Tama concluded
"Well that explains why she is always angry" Mheetu joked
"Tama.. I didn't know... I'm sorry about that" Malka comforted
"I-i should have told you earlier" Tama confessed
"It's fine, it's good that you told us about it when you're comfortable about it" Malka replied
"I guess so" Tama sighed
In the outlands
"So you faced my nephew and almost got him I'm impressed" Scar showed up "And if it wasn't for that roar he'll be dead by now"
"Scar what are you doing here!?" Zira growled
"Just checking" Scar replied "You know you and I are alike Sisi ni sawa"
"What tricks are you trying to do here pridelander? If you are trying to mess with us then it would be your biggest mistake!" Zira threatened
"I was asking that maybe we should team up" Scar grinned
"And why would I team up with a pride lander?" Zira replied
"Oh Zira.. We have the same enemies you hate the guard I hate the guard, You hate the pridelands and I hate the pridelands" Scar insisted "If I become the king your goals will finally be reality what do you think?"
"And why should I trust you? You were the leader of the lion guard once!" Zira growled
"Well Zira I killed the lion guard that's why I lost my roar" Scar replied "And I met someone who was in this pride, I was once recruited into this pride that claims to be the king of the outlanders he had a snake friend that gave me this scar"
"Are you talking about my father?!?" Zira asked
"Oh.. So you are daddy's little girl" Scar chuckled
"I'm giving you a choice your pride will finally have some power in the pridelands once I become king, the circle of life would be abolished under my reign" Scar added "So what do you say?"
"Sounds good... But if you betrayed us like a snake it would be the biggest mistake of your life" Zira replied
"Well let's consider that a deal" Scar said
