Authors note : Stay tuned. Thank you my readers for you're honest feedback.

"Who knows what true happiness is, not the conventional word.. but the naked terror. To the lonely themselves, that wears a mask, the most miserable outcast hugs some memory.. or some illusion."

Nathan sighed deeply. Seething. His anger and rage were blinding him. He had said hurtful things and regretting them especially regarding her parents. Especially when he saw the hurt expression on her face.

He had been cruel and Haley had done nothing to deserve his outburst.

Everything Haley had told him was the truth. In attempt to be everything to all his kids. Be present for his wife and juggle his career he was failing.

Austin was young enough to not fully grasp what was happening.

But Nadia had her mother's heart and fierceness. He had no idea what she knew and heard already.

Yet he could tell she was pulling away from him and clinging tighter to her mother.

And Haley's outburst was raw and bleeding with emotion

Nathan had done his best to escape.

Nathan stared at himself in the mirror. And saw his father.

A mirror reflection. And for the first time. Nathan didn't turn away or try to drown his faults and mistakes.

He was determined to face them and do what he could to repair the damage.

He was humilated and ashamed.

Haley and their kids deserved more better.

...

"Momma won't get out of bed. She isn't feeling well."

"We have to help her and make her feel better."

"It's dad's fault momma got upset. I used to like him being around."

"Now it just turns out bad."

"Momma needs us." Nadia stated matter of fact.

...

As Nathan prepared to leave after composing himself enough to drive. He got a call from the Haley's doctor.

"I'm sorry to interupt. Mr. Scott. But i'm extremely concerned about Haley."

"She hasn't reached back out to me regarding her therapy appointments for some time now."

"I called in to the pharmacy she uses for her medication and she hasn't refilled in 3 months. I don't know what's going on with her."

"But she needs her medication. At this point. I don't know what her mental state may be like. Please call me when you can." She explained before hanging up.

...

"We can make her poptarts and toast with butter and jelly."

"We can give her orange juice and milk."

"She'll feel better with breakfast. Then we can go for a walk." Nadia explained to Austin.

As the siblings put together a breakfast buffet for their mom. Displaying it all on a large tray.

Austin raced down the hallway and went towards their mom's room.

He attempted to open the door and instantly noticed it won't move.

He knocked on the door. Hitting his bawled up fists against the door.

Still no answer.

"Why isn't momma answering the door.?" Austin asked.

Nadia went into the drawer by the door and took out one of the bedroom spare keys.

She ran over and opened the door easily.

"Momma's probably sleeping. I told you she's sick." Nadia explained.

Placing down the key before grabbing the tray of food again.

"Momma wake up. Austin and I made breakfast for you." Nadia said happily.

Austin following close behind her.

Nadia's screams and Austin's sobs filled the bedroom.
