I need help! My momma is hurt!
She's bleeding!
"She won't wake up! " Nadia exclaimed through her screams.
She followed the 911 operator's instructions and told her address.
It wasn't until Nadia and Austin got to the hospital with Haley.
Did Nathan surface. He had followed the ambulance.
"Daddy!" Austin exclaimed.
Nathan engulfed his visibly upset and terrified son.
Into a big hug.
"I'm so proud of you. You got you're mom help."
"You are so strong and brave." "You looked for Austin."
"Took care of you're mom." Nathan proclaimed. Looking to his daughter. The emotion in his voice thick.
This was too much for an 8 year old girl to handle.
He should of been there with there with them. Nathan thought to himself.
"Mr. Scott. May i talk to you privately.?" The doctor asked.
Nathan shook his head and followed the doctor's lead to the private room.
Nadia clung tightly to Austin. Wanting support and comfort from her dad but not sure how to ask for it. Especially since she blamed this on him. So she said nothing.
Haley awoke and looked around not recognizing where she was. But soon it came together that she was in the hospital.
Her arms covered in bandages.
Her body ached. Her throat dry.
Her body and mind exhausted. Pushed to its limits.

"My wife has depression. And hasn't taken her medication in months." Nathan admitted.
"We will make sure she gets the next available dose."
"Along with the suicide attempt. You're wife is suffering from a nervous breakdown."
"Which means we want to keep her here for a few weeks." The doctor explained.

News of Haley's situation was only told to the select members of the friend group. But eventually other people in town found out and word spread.
When Nathan came into the living room.
After dropping off the kids.
He was not surprised to see his parents and Rachel all together talking.
"I'm not bringing Haley with any of you." Nathan announced.
