Total Drama Grand Prix Update 1
Margaret appears on the screen, and she begins to speak. "And we are officially done with the first week of applications. Though I'll admit that there's been fewer applications then I would've like, it looks like the season is getting people's interest. So, to keep it up, I'll give you a rundown on who's currently in, plus a special interview with one of those picked. So, let's get to it."
The screen transitions to a Caucasian girl who's being spin around. She looks to be 18, is around six feet and two inches, and looks to have a good amount of muscles and C-cups bust size. She also has chestnut brown hair tied together in a fishtail braid that goes pass her shoulders and has green eyes that are round shaped. She's wearing a black t-shirt underneath an unbuttoned red and white flannel jacket, stonewashed blue jeans, chestnut brown cowgirl boots and brown cowgirl hat. Margaret then begins to speak again, "First off, we have the Patriot, more commonly known as the hillbilly. Born in Fort Worth of Texas, Vivian May Jackson is a strong believer in her country who is not afraid to show it every time she speaks, much to my dismay. But despite her love for her largely racist and sexist country, she is actually one of the more open and understanding girls accepted so far, or so she believes." Margaret says with a sneer
The screen does another transition to a picture of a red tractor. It has an emblem of a bald eagle on the front and back and it's big enough to fit someone like Vivian. There's also a large exhaust pipe on the left side of the tractor that can be raised and lowered at will by pressing a button on the steering wheel. Margaret then continues, "Vivian is driving a rundown tractor that can take quite a few hits and is supposed to have good acceleration and control. Will see how that holds up when she starts racing for real. As she will be starting in the Exploration Cup, where the roads are long, and conditions are brutal."
The screen does yet another transition, this time, to a Warm ivory female who is slightly muscular, has long, wavy dark purple hair that falls freely down to her shoulder blades. She has amber, oval, doe eyes, and is about average in height. She's wearing a Lilac vest with brown outlines, soft blue long sleeved blouse, black leather pants, brown high boots with soft fake fur. She's also wearing a silver flower bracelet on her wrist and heart shaped, rose-colored glasses, "The next vic…competitor selected is Jean Jacket Hudson. Yea. Like that's a real name. Though she likes to be called Jay-Jay for short, which I'll allow. Says here she's a daredevil of some kind from New Jersey and is confident in herself and her abilities. Something that I can deeply respect."
The screen does a transition to Jay-Jay's vehicle, which is a purple DeLorean with painted flames and moded wheels. "She'll be driving a purple DeLorean that is not only fast but has been moded for any type of terrain. The catch though is that it takes a while to start, and it can break apart easily. Probably why she decided to compete in the Famous Cup. Well, hate to break it to you Jay-Jay, but don't think that the tricks you're performing are the only tricks you'll find on those tracks. Trust me." Margaret finishes with a smirk.
The screen transitions to an African American male who's five foot eight and a muscular build. He has long hair dyed red and styled in a mohawk, blue, almond shape eyes, and a purple lightning bolt tattoo on his upper left arm. He also looks like he been in a lot of fights, with small scarring on his lips and faint bruises on his arms and legs. He's also wearing a green shirt with yellow wording "Rock and Roll!", a purple vest, spiked bracelets, purple fingerless gloves, yellow rimmed glasses with purple shades that are star-shaped, a pair of blue jeans, a black belt, and purple boots. "The next sap competing is Montgomery Miller, a bassist from Louisiana, he's apparently a very violent and rage-filled person. Liking what I'm seeing here so far. He also seems to be very clever when not throwing the first thing he's sees at someone else's head. Sounds like a man after my own heart. But it'll take more than that to win it, though. You got it!?" Margaret shouts the last part in anger and points a finger at the audience.
The screen transitions to Montgomery's vehicle, a green AMC Javelin muscle car with red stripes, "He'll be driving an AMC Javelin, which is not only tough, but is also fast and can handle most terrain. Though it looks like has a low acceleration, and terrible breaks, which may suck for him because I'm putting him in the Survival Cup, partly since not a lot of people put in an application for it yet, but it also looks like that it will actually be the best cup for him. And if not, hey, he'll still have a chance so long as he stays in the middle of the pack."
The screen transitions to a white, muscular man who's six foot six, has short and messy black hair with some hair dyed orange on the top, and has round, red eyes. It can also be seen that the guy has a scar around his neck that looks like he was sliced by something. He's wearing a black shirt, blue jeans with a brown belt and brown shoes. "Our final confirmed contestant of the night, as well as our interviewee is Franchesco Wheeler, a Bodyguard also from the States, but is currently living in Sweden. Right now, he's the bodyguard of one Sunny Noir, also known as Sunshine. As for his vehicle, will get to that during our interview. Speaking of which, it's time for our reporter to get the latest intel from our last picked driver of the week. Take it away, Topher."
The screen transitions to Topher, wearing a brown vest with a black tie and a earpiece on his right ear, black pants, and holding a black microphone in his left hand. "Thanks Margaret." Topher says as he's fiddling with the earpiece, "This is Topher of the cast of Pahkitew Island here to bring you up to speed with Franchesco Wheeler." Topher goes further away from the screen to see Franchesco working on his vehicle, a white sport motorcycle with golden details, and has a couple of spare wheels attached to its back. Topher then greets Franchesco. "Glad to have you here, Franchesco. And how's Sunny doing these days?
Franchesco stops working on his vehicle to look at Topher. Franchesco smiles and he answers, "Glad to be here Topher. And Sunny is doing great. Though she wish that she could see you more often."
Topher blushes and replies, "Yeah, but I've just been busy trying to follow my dreams. With mixed success admittingly."
"Well, I can see you're close. So, I hope you can make that final push." Franchesco says to comfort Topher.
"Thanks man." Topher replies, "But while I'm here, can you tell us about the vehicle you'll be using to race for the competition?"
Franchesco nods and says, "Sure thing. This vehicle is one of a kind that was made by yours truly. It has wheels that are modified for any kind of terrain with a special attachment that allows me to dodge any kind of obstacle to come across my path."
"This is no doubt impressive." Topher admits, "But it also looks like it can break apart easily. Not something you want in a competition like this."
"Fair enough." Franchesco replies, "But I've also prepared a special toolbox so I would be able to repair my vehicle every time it gets a scratch, and with my driving skill, it should be easy to make sure me and my vehicle don't get hit by the other competitors."
"I hope you're right." Topher says and he moves on to another subject as he looks through some notes, "So, it says here you want to participate in the Speed Cup, the last qualifying cup. Any reason why?
Franchesco shrugs and replies, "It was the best cup for me and my motorcycle to shine, especially since it's literally about speed."
"But you do realize that you won't have another chance after, right?" Topher asks, partly worried for him, "If you don't finish fourth or higher in that cup, that's it. You will be out of the running."
Franchesco again shrugs and replies, "The way I see it, I feel like I have the best chance to be in those positions in that cup. Plus, if I succeed, it'll mean that my motorcycle will be fresh and ready to go for the main cup."
Topher simply sighs and says, "Well, then I wish you luck in the competition, Franchesco. But before we go, Margaret is also looking over your application for cohost. Nothing set in stone yet and we're trying to make sure there are no legal issues. But are you still willing to host until it's your turn to race?"
Franchesco rubs his chin in thought and replies, "Tell Margaret that I'll be willing until it's my turn to compete. And even after if I don't make it to the final cup."
"Good to hear." Topher replies, "And thank you for time Franchesco."
"You're welcome." Franchesco replies.
"Back to you Margaret." Topher says and the screen transitions back to Margaret.
Margaret then begins to speak again. Well, you heard it here folks. Our first competitors for the four qualifying cups, and a possible cohost in the process. Will be back next week with even more competitors chosen for the cups, more interviews, and maybe even some previews of the tracks that will appear during the race. I'm Margaret Diablo, and this is Total Drama Grand Prix!"

Hey everyone. As you can see, this is the first update for the fanfic. Thanks to all to have submitted and if you don't see you're OC up there yet, don't worry. I'm still looking over them and there's still plenty of space for yours to get it. Speaking of which, while I said it to several people already, I'll make it official and say that I'm willing to accept multiple OCs. Mostly because this is a big cast that not including the cohost, will feature 36 OCs total and I won't get my hopes up that I can get that many authors to put an OC in for the fanfic. Though I'll also say that I will give any OC creators and authors enough time to submit before I finalize the cast list. Going back to the cohost though. On that front, I'm still going over them and Franchesco does have a cohost application which I'm also considering. But I'm too sure yet. What I think will help is seeing examples of banter between the cohost and Margaret. So, I'll add examples to the cohost app and I ask any who send in a cohost app to please give me some to help make my choice. Other than that. I'll post the next update hopefully same time next week, with more interviews and previews of some of the tracks. I hope you all look forward to it.
