Chapter 3: The Stalker
The next day has passed since we saw Spider-Man: No way Home in theaters. I decided to go see the movie again today in the Imax theater. I waited in line for food when I got to the movie and bought my tickets. As I was waiting in line, (The line was long btw because of the premiere weekend) I thought I saw a familiar hedgehog. The hedgehog was green and had a leather jacket on. He looked a lot like Scourge, the hedgehog from the Rammstein concert. What was he doing here? I decided to brush it off and play on my phone while I waited. 15 minutes later, it was finally my turn to order the food.
After I finished getting my food and went to the bathroom, I sat down in the Imax theater. Seeing the hedgehog that looked like Scourge still bothered me, so I decided to text my family in the family group chat about it. I sent them a text saying that I saw the hedgehog that looked like Scourge. Johanna responded back with, okay, just ignore him if you see him again. And Shadow told me he was gonna pick me up from the movies after the movie finished. I responded with okay.
A while later, the movie theater began filling up and the trailers started. The movie started after the trailers finished. People cheered again when the two Spider-Mans appeared on the screen, and I cheered along with the crowd since I knew who they were now. Of course, I stayed for the end-credit scenes after the movie finished. I texted Shadow, asking him to pick me up and he told me he would come to pick me up soon. I sat down in the lobby and played on my phone while I was waiting for my dad to pick me up. As I was doing my own thing and minding my own business, the same hedgehog from earlier walked up to me.
"Hey sweetheart, remember me?" He said. I looked at him nervously. "S-Scourge?" I stuttered. "That's right. Have you thought of my offer for the date yet?" Scourge said. "Huh?! Are you crazy?! I already told you no!" I shouted. "Aw come on." Scourge said. "Scourge I swear if you don't leave me alone right now I'm calling the police!" I yelled. "Oh, I'm so scared." Scourge said sarcastically. Scourge then grabs me and pulls me into a kiss. I pushed him away.
"The hell man?!" I yelled. "I'm married, how dare you?!" I shouted. "Does it look like I care? I just wanna go out with you." Scourge said. "I already told you no!" I shouted. "What's going on here?" A voice said. I turned around and saw my parents, Sonic and Shadow walking up to me.
"Dad, Scourge keeps bothering me. He even kissed me without my permission!" I shouted. "What the heck? Scourge, what are you doing here?" Shadow said coldly. "I came back because I wanna go out with your daughter." Scourge said. "No. Leave, now." Shadow said firmly. Scourge then walks up to Sonic.
"What about you, Sonic? Still up for my offer on the date?" Scourge said with a smirk. "No! Leave me alone!" Sonic yelled. Scourge grabs Sonic and pulls him in for a kiss, but Shadow runs up to Scourge and punches him hard in the face, causing him to fall back. People who were passing by were looking in our direction.
"I'm warning you, Scourge. Leave my family alone. Or else I'll kill you." Shadow said in a dangerous tone. Scourge smirked.
"Making death threats now, are we? Fine, I'll leave them alone. But this won't be the last you see of me." Scourge said. With that, Scourge left.
"Are you two okay?" Shadow said. "Yeah Dad, I'm okay," I said. "I'm fine too. But what do we do if he comes after us again?" Sonic said worriedly. "Don't worry, I won't let him touch either of you again. Let's go home before he shows up again and we need to inform the rest of the family about this." Shadow said. "Okay," Sonic said. Shadow, Sonic, and I left the theaters and made our way home. We got home a few minutes later.
"Hey Lana, how was the movie?" Katniss asked when we got back. "It was good Mom. Except..." I started. "Except for what?" Katniss said, a bit worriedly. "We need to say something to everyone," Shadow said. "Okay," Katniss said. We gathered everyone into the living room.
"What's this all about?" Tails asked. Shadow started speaking. "Today at the movies, we saw Scourge again. He was trying to assault Lana and Sonic." Shadow said. "What?!" Johanna shouted. "Scourge? You mean the guy we saw at the Rammstein concert?" Knuckles said. "Yes," Shadow said. "What did he do to you guys?" Johanna demanded. "He didn't do much... He just kept asking me to go out with him and he tried to kiss me." Sonic said. "Yeah, he kissed me without my permission as well. Trust me guys, I didn't want it." I said.
"We know hon, you tried your best to resist," Rouge said. "So, what do we do about this guy?" Knuckles said. "I say we keep a close eye on them for a while. Make sure he doesn't touch them if he does show up again." Shadow said. "Alright. Lana, don't go out without letting us know." Cato said. "Okay," I said. "That goes for you too Sonic," Shadow said. "Okay," Sonic said. "Now that we got that covered, I'm gonna make dinner," Katniss said.
Our dog, Ozzy jumped up on me with a ball in his mouth. I smiled and petted Ozzy.
"I'm gonna play with Ozzy Grandma," I said. "Alright. Just don't go wandering off in the neighborhood." Maddie said. "Okay. Come on Ozzy, let's go outside." I said. I took Ozzy outside to play with him. Ozzy gave me the ball and I threw it at him. As I was playing with Ozzy, I felt like something, or someone was watching me. I shook my head and decided to brush it off. Why did I feel like someone was watching me? I was probably just paranoid. Ozzy barked at me to throw the ball again, so I did. I heard a twig snap in the back yard. I gasped with fright.
"Who's there?!" I demanded. Ozzy began barking madly. I began walking around the backyard to try to find who was watching me.
"Come out! I'm not afraid of you!" I shouted. I got in my battle stance and prepared to fight whoever was stalking me. "Lana?" A voice suddenly said. I gasped with fright but turned around and saw it was just Cato, my husband.
"It's okay kitty, it's just me," Cato said. "Oh, hi Cato," I said. Ozzy barked happily and ran up to Cato. Cato petted Ozzy, then looked at me.
"Are you okay? You've been on edge lately." Cato said. "I'm fine. It's just that, I'm feeling like something's watching me." I said. "Watching you?" Cato said. "Yeah," I said. Cato looked around the yard but he didn't see anything.
"I don't see anything. I think you're just paranoid because of what's happening with Scourge." Cato said. "Yeah," I said. Just then, my dad, Peeta walked outside. "There you guys are. We've been looking for you because dinner is ready." Peeta said. "Okay, Dad," I said. "Come on, let's go inside," Cato said. Cato took my hand and led me inside. When we got inside, I smelled the fresh smell of pasta on the table. We sat down at the table and ate dinner. After we finished eating dinner, I went to my room and watched Tv for a while. I was still paranoid because I felt like I was still being watched but I kept watching Sailor Moon Crystal on the Tv.
After a few hours passed and I got ready for bed, my husband and wives joined me in watching Tv. Next, we decided to watch Avengers: Infinity War. As I was enjoying movie night and cuddling with them, I saw eyes through my window, watching me. I screamed. Johanna paused the movie.
"Lana, what's wrong?" Johanna said worriedly. "Something's watching me," I said. "Watching you? Where?" Cato said. Rouge looked out the window. "There's nothing there sweetie," Rouge said. My parents, Sonic, Shadow, Katniss, and Peeta walked in my room.
"What happened? We heard screaming." Peeta said. "We heard you screaming Lana, are you okay?" Katniss said. "No Mom, not really," I said. "She's saying something is watching her. She saw eyes through her window." Johanna said. "The same thing happened to me too," Sonic said. "It did?" I asked. "Yeah. Some eyes were also watching me through my window as well. It happened earlier." Sonic said. "That's strange. Who could be watching you guys?" Rouge said.
"I'm thinking it might be Scourge. He's too obsessed with Lana and Sonic." Peeta said. "He doesn't know when to back off," Johanna said. "Either way, we need to be on high alert now," Shadow said. "Yeah, I agree. Let us know if it happens again, Lana." Katniss said. "Okay, Mom. I will." I said. I said goodnight to my parents, then they left my room.
"Come on, let's finish the movie then go to bed. You'll feel better in the morning." Rouge said. "Okay," I said. After we finished watching Avengers: Infinity War, we turned off the Tv and fell asleep.
Little did we know, the eyes in the window continued to watch us.
