An: I got this idea from someone else's story. I had this idea so I decided to write it. Here it is.

They walked up the steps to the middle class house, the second house on the street. Why couldn't it be the last house, with the happy family, two dogs, and white picket fence. The steps felt like an eternity, maybe that's because he was carrying the entire luggage.
"Whoa!" Scott screamed as he fell down the at least 50 steps, once to return to the spot he fell from. "What did you pack in here?" Scott said, " all of your clothes, shoes, makeup and jewelry!"
"Shoot! I forgot jewelry, I knew there was something I forgot!" Shelby said smacking her head, "oh well, I brought enough hair supplies to keep my acquaintances' minds on my hair!" she turned around hitting Scott and knocking him back down the stairs.
They entered the house, Shelby's mother's house. Scott and Shelby put together their visits so that they could meet each other's parents. It was Shelby's mother and sister Scott was meeting first.
Shelby set the stuff in the bedrooms and sat down on the couch. Scott stood with his hands in his pockets and a shy look on his face.
"So Scott, Shelby says that you are a great football player, do you play anymore?" Shelby's mom said trying to spark conversation, and trying to find out if Scott and Shelby were serious.
"Actually, I stopped playing." Scott said, hoping the 20 questions would end.
"Why would a handsome man like you do a silly thing like that?" Shelby's mom said.
"Well, uh, well" but before he had time to answer in came the little sis. She walked in and looked at Scott.
"If I walk in again and you are still there, would that mean I actually made it into heaven!" jess said while reluctlently walking away singing "heaven must be missing an angel."
"Lets have dinner, I will take you guys to the best place in town!" Shelby's mom said getting up to get her coat, Scott and Shelby did the same.
Everyone piled into the car and hit the road, dirt road that is. They made it to the restaurant and got seated. Jess put up a fit because she couldn't sit next to Scott. Shelby gave her "the look" and jess went to sit next to her mom. It was a very nice French restaurant. They got their menu's and started to order.
"Scott, the menus are all in French, do you need me to order for you?" Shelby's mother (lets call her Sharon.) said.
"That's ok, I will have the cordon bleu with extra que Sioux, not to heavy on the dressing, and have le quieta' with lite oyster dressing, oh and a side order of shanque to du la with nonfat butter." Scott said to the waitress. He looked up from the menu to find everyone staring at him in looks of shock and disparagement. (I made all of that up, pretend it is a very expensive French meal! K)
"or maybe, just a burger." Scott said feeling very embarrassed, he should have known not to order the most expensive thing on the menu.
"We will all have burgers too." Sharon said, looking at Scott with an icy glare.
Just as the menu's were taken away and the drinks arrived, Shelby felt something fall into her lap. She looked down and saw a balled up napkin, she opened it up and engraved with knife marks it read out to be HelP- Scott. She looked up, knowing she needed a miracle to get Scott through this visit alive. And one fact slipped her mind, Scott got to meet Walt, dear step-daddy tomorrow.
