First of all I want to let everyone know that this IS NOT a notice of cancellation or adoption or anything. I'm still 100% committed to this fic. Second of all I wanted to thank everyone for their support and interest in this story, it surprised me to be honest.

Finally the actual reason for this Author's note: I have a poll for this story up now.

I really want to know how you all feel about David Martinez. I originally planned on just not including him in this story. But the more I think about it the more I consider…Do I give us all the Rebecca/David we all craved? Personally, as much as I love Lucy as a character, the romance she had with David felt a bit forced. Like she immediately showed him her Moon Braindance even though she barely knew him, something that was deeply personal and even Maine and the crew knew nothing about.
