[Chapter 2: The Rising Sun and the Smiling Monster]

Clarimond had been asleep for some time now. She dreamed of the day she became Wilhelman's fan, in the middle of Nuremberg one summer afternoon, when she bore witness to a battle between him and a villain. In this dream, a younger Clarimond was hiding behind a garbage can, peeking out from a distance at the fight before her as people ran away. Numerous bodies of police officers were scattered around, and nearby was the body of a pro hero who had an alligator quirk. He had broken his neck and died during the battle earlier, though fortunately Clarimond did not witness this part.

Wilhelman was jumping out of the way of various desperate punches from a giant rock monster, quicker than his size and weight would imply. For every punch he avoided, however, he shot back with various finger bullets, firing armor piercing shots between the cracks and causing great irritation to the beast.

"YIELD, VILLAIN!" he yelled, landing on a rooftop nearby. His palms opened up to reveal the barrels of sub-machine guns, firing on the beast in a volley of more armor piercing rounds.

The monster growled and covered his face with an arm, before clutching his other hand and reeling it back. "COUNTRY...BREAKING...FIIIIIIIIIIIST!" he roared in his deep and booming voice, delivering an uppercut with enough force to shatter the building Wilhelman stood on.

Wilhelman's feet hissed, before he pulled off a rocket jump with his feet, a rocket launcher shell blasting beneath him and increasing his jump height. He was jumping towards the rock monster's face, his fists unleashing rings of shotgun barrels. He then delivered a twin punch to the monster's face, the shotgun barrels firing off all at once and cracking the monster's face horribly.

"GRAAAAHH! My face, I...I'll break yours as payback, get over here, GET OVER HERE!" he said in a frenzy, swinging wildly.

The hero landed nearby and took a long, slow, deep breath, looking around at the mess of fallen cops and his fellow hero. He closed his eyes briefly. "I'm sorry Charles...I could not support you in time...you were only half my age and I allowed you to die." he said bitterly. He then opened his eyes and looked back up at the monster.

"Alright, beast...for the dozens of lives, both civilian and otherwise, that you have taken...I will annihilate you here and now, BEHOLD!" he yelled. His body let out a burst of steam from various pores as it started to open up. Various doors and openings unveiled a variety of different weapons. The shotgun barrels around his wrists, various machine-guns of different shapes and sizes across his arms and legs, anti tank rifles on his shoulders, two rocket pod launchers sprouting from his upper back, and more.

"UBER SALVO: ALL-WEAPONS ASSAULT!" yelled Wilhelman as his body unleashed bullet after shell after round after every kind of ammo he had, unleashing pure ballistic fury upon the giant rock monster of a villain and slowly chipping and cracking away at the seemingly unstoppable beast's body.

The young Clarimond's eyes widened in awe and excitement as he unleashed the unyieldingly loud salvo of gunfire on the most durable villain that Germany ever had, watching as it crumbled away and reverted back to the being that lay within after an entire minute of gunfire and anguish...

When the dust settled, what sat on the ground wasn't a beast, but a lean-at-best, disheveled, 30-something man who now shook in fear, bruised and bleeding and at the mercy of the pro hero.

"At last, one of the great strongmen of the Blood Ravens is down...be proud only of your abilities in combat, and then feel only shame for how you've wasted it. Our heartland deserves a better beast than you." said Wilhelman, marching ominously towards the villain, who crawled back in fear.

"S-spare me, SPARE ME PLEASE!" begged the villain, who himself had a sadistic bodycount of hundreds over the years at this point.

Wilhelman stopped, cocked his head to the side and stared unblinking for a moment. He then spoke in a high pitched and mocking tone... "Spare me spare me, please ignore the corpses I left behind!", before sprinting at the villain and punting him across the street with a single kick, knocking him out along with a few teeth for good measure.

He then ran over to and lifted the villain over his shoulder as the police arrived, handing him over roughly as he shook his head in disappointment. "Tch...do forgive how brutally I handled him, officers." he said earnestly, holding a hand over half of his face as his body locked back up, sealing away all of its weapons and reverting to its normal state.

One of the officers nodded understandingly and said, "It's fine, Herr Wilhelman, he'll be in talking shape soon enough."

It was on that day that Clarimond found her will and inspiration to become a hero...just like Wilhelman...

…...

…...

Clarimond then woke up, remembering the dream for the most part and smiling, recalling how it was only one reason she adored the pro hero so much.

"Herr Wilhelman...I'll be just as valiant as you one day. Strong, enduring, and heroic to boot. That is my promise to you and Germany." Clarimond said calmly to herself.

Eventually, before she knew it, the plane was about to arrive in Japan. This is it...all she had to do was get off the plane, find her apartment, exchange her currency, and start her new life!

So...after another few minutes of flying, the plane landed in Japan, and Clarimond set out, looking around at the busy airport and taking a deep breath. "Alright..." she started, "let's get all of the busy work out of the way."

Clarimond proceeded to do what she had to do, and eventually, made her way up the escalator and out the exit, where the city she'd call home for the next few years greeted her with a boom.

Musutafu City, home of the U.A., and some of the finest heroes Japan has to offer.

She held her hand to her chest, breathing heavy and smiling, but then calming herself down before she went overboard. "Okay, okay...my apartment, my apartment...focus. I should be able to find it around..."

Clarimond pointed around, looking at her notepad and taking out her map of the city, making her way to her temporary residence.

Her apartment was a cozy little studio with everything she could need for the most part, albeit a bit packed. She was fine with it though, she knew that she'd be living in a dorm soon enough, and would no longer need this apartment the moment she had said dorm room assigned.

Clarimond put down her luggage and flopped onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling with a whistle. "Okay...almost there...just take a break before...I dunno, what time is it? What day is it again?" she asked herself, checking her phone. Much to her relief, the school didn't open and start testing potential students until tomorrow, though this left her with barely any time to adjust to the city proper.

Shrugging it off, she set up and grabbed around, finding a remote and turning the TV on. What she saw was a shock, and she was immediately invested.

It was a giant sludge monster, causing chaos on the streets, and absorbing what appeared to be a blonde boy and a green-haired boy. It took her back to that dream she had earlier, the shock, the panic...but at least this time there wasn't as much carnage.

Then, in a similar vein, a hero arrived, a big buff blonde man who she could recognize all too well. Upon arrival, he unleashed a powerful attack, yelling out; "TEXAS...SMAAAAAAAASH!"

The villain was blown away, the boys rescued and the crowd cheering for All Might and even taking the time to gawk in awe of the blonde one.

"Mein Gott..." she said, blinking twice. "Wait...that's...All-Might!" she said, putting her hands together in contemplation. "Between him, Stars-and-Stripes, and Wilhelman, I wonder how many other patriotic heroes exist out there? Wait...why is he American themed?" she mused, suddenly bothered by that...in a casual and fun way, not a serious way.

"Still..." she started, hopping off the bed and stretching her arms, "I am happy to be here...maybe things will slow down, stabilize, and I'll be able to truly experience what it's like to be here." she said with a smile, looking out the window nearby and watching as people passed by.

Now she was here, and there was only one thing to do...go out and explore the area, see what she could find before nightfall, and maybe...maybe she could find a future classmate out there? Clarimond took a drink out of the fridge, downed it quickly, and stepped outside, looking around and saying, "GUTENTAG, JAPAN! I...AM HERE!" she said in the spirit of All-Might.

She ran off, eager to see what the city had in store for her in these waning hours of the day.
