"I am Uryu Ishida. I'm usually a calm and collected person. However, I want to share with you a story that freaked me out."
"It all started when I was looking for a roommate. I had my own apartment, but I was in need of a roommate to help me with rent since I was starting out in a paid internship at the hospital, until I get a full-time position. Finding a roommate isn't easy since you don't want a weirdo, a drug dealer, or someone you know that won't cause trouble. That's difficult since you don't know the person. Anyway, I posted around my town that I was looking for one and I soon got a response."
Uryu needed help with rent at his apartment. He had trouble finding one, but it looks like he did get someone.
"Hey, Uryu. My name is Kiba Kentosuke. I'm interested in being your roommate if you're still looking. I'm attending classes, but that's so I can run my family business one day. My family owns an ice cream business, but that means we can have all the ice cream we want. I'm also a little lonely since my girlfriend had to leave, but she and I lived together and it was great. I really hope you consider having me."
"This Kiba sounded like an interesting person. He also put up a picture of him and his girlfriend for me to see. She seemed like a pretty girl with brown hair. Kiba was the guy with brown hair that looked a little messy, but he had a big smile on his face. We even got to meet in person and got to talking. He was well educated and actually tolerable for me to handle. So, we decided to live together."
Uryu was interested in having Kiba as a roommate. He saw the picture of him and his girlfriend and saw that they did look great together. Uryu even met him in person and it seemed like they did had a good time together.
"By the way, what happened to your girlfriend?" Uryu asked.
"Oh... She had to go away somewhere, but we loved each other dearly. I also have a way to make sure she never leaves me." Kiba said.
"When I asked about his girlfriend, he didn't exactly tell me where she was or what she was doing, but I didn't really think too much about it. We decided to live together and he seemed to have settled in pretty well. What I didn't expect was him to bring a whole freezer in."
When Uryu and Kiba decided to live together, Kiba moved all his stuff in and was settling in the apartment. As Uryu straightened out the apartment, he was surprised to see Kiba and a friend of his bring in a freezer.
"What's that for?" Uryu questioned.
"I told you that we get to have all the ice cream that we want, and my family's business has some good products. I hope this is okay." Kiba said.
"It seemed fine at the time. Also, who would actually turn down free ice cream. So, he just placed the freezer in the corner and it fit in there pretty well. Everything was going fine until I got up in the middle of the night and needed a glass of water."
Uryu seemed to like having Kiba around. Didn't even mind the freezer in the corner. When Uryu woke up in the middle of the night, he got up from bed and felt quite thirsty.
"I went into the kitchen and got myself some water from the fridge and closed it, but I ended up stubbing my toe against the counter. I tried to hold myself back from screaming so I wouldn't wake up Kiba, but I saw him standing there. The weird thing was how the darkness of the room enveloped around him, almost like it was coming from him."
Uryu got his drink and was going to head back to his room, but his drowsiness caused him to hit his foot against the counter. He closed his eyes to hold back the grunting, but he saw Kiba when he opened his eyes and he was standing there looking ominous.
"Is everything okay?" Kiba asked.
"Sorry if I woke you. I was getting some water and stubbed my toe like an oaf." Uryu said.
"It's fine." Kiba said and just disappeared back into his room.
"That was a little weird and I didn't get it out of my head. The next morning, I woke up and wanted to talk to Kiba about the other night. I looked in his room, but saw he was gone with me remembering that he had class today."
Uryu woke up the next morning to talk to Kiba, but Kiba was already gone.
"I had to get to the hospital myself, so I went into the kitchen to get myself lunch. When I walked in, I slipped on something on the floor and caught myself on the counter."
Uryu walked into the kitchen to get himself some lunch, but he slipped on something and caught himself on the counter.
"I looked down and saw something red oozing out of the freezer. I figured it was broken and there was some ice cream freezing. So, I opened it up to see what it was. The weird thing was that it still felt cold and the ice cream inside hasn't melted."
When Uryu saw something red coming out of the freezer, he opened it up. However, it was still cold and the ice cream haven't melted.
"I dug around to see what might have been leaking, until I saw a strange black bag covering the bottom. It felt like there was something under there. When I took a look at what it was, I couldn't believe it. At the bottom of the freezer was a dead woman, her body cold with her lips all blue, every part of her body suffered from being in that freezer."
When Uryu dug around in the freezer, he noticed something strange at the bottom. He took a look and saw a dead girl inside there with her body in awful shape from being in the freezer.
"I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I took a good a look at the girl and realized I saw her before: she was Kiba's girlfriend. I didn't think this is what he meant when he said he had a way to keep her around forever. I got out of there and called the police about this."
Uryu was quite shocked to see it was Kiba's girlfriend who was dead. All he did was get out of there and tell the police about what he found.
"When I made it to the station, I told them all about what I saw. They sent some agents to investigate and claimed the body. They asked me if I noticed anything strange about Kiba, and I soon realized that the other night that he must have thought I dug through the freezer. I told them everything I knew about Kiba, but it turns out that they couldn't find him anywhere. Then, one officer came in and slid a piece of paper to the officer I was talking to and whispered something to him."
Uryu was able to make it to the station, but there was no sign of Kiba anywhere. When one officer gave another a piece of paper and whispered something, that fellow officer looked quite shocked.
"Sir, do you have a place to stay tonight? Does this man know of any place?" The officer asked.
"Why?" Uryu asked.
"They seemed concerned for my safety and I saw why. I saw the paper was a photo, and it was a photo of torture tools in Kiba's room with a photo of me mixed in there. I'm lucky I got out of there alive."
