A group of students ran hastily towards the Duel Field, they get information that Chazz Princeton will be dueling.

Chazz himself were also known as the top ranking freshman, he was rumored to have a strong dueling skill that can rival The Kaiser, Zane Truesdale, and many of the students (junior and senior alike) think that Chazz would be the second Kaiser of the Duel Academy.

Moreover, he was also a family member of the prominent Princeton Group, and he himself manage to join The Duel Research Society, a notorious club of Duel Academy.

Talking about DRS, his opponent is also a member of The DRS same as him.

Albeit she was a girl, and nameless duelist, she was rumored to be a strong as Alexis Rhodes, another strong and top ranking freshman.

"Ne... Alexis. Who do you think would win?" asked Jasmine.

Alexis held her chin, as she was thinking deeply, "Truthfully I don't know" reply Alexis.

"Even you too?" said Jasmine.

"Well, Sakura is certainly strong, REALLY. STRONG. But her opponent here is Chazz, and unlike her, Chazz already going to various tournament and won many achievements... so his skill were not bad" reply Alexis.

"More than that I'm curious of why Sakura dueling Chazz in the first place" asked Mindy.

Alexis smile wryly, "Well, maybe she did something to gains his ire?"

"Is that so? Why I can't believe what you said? I think that Sakura wasn't the kind of person that would gladly goad or provoke anyone" said Mindy.

"Yeah, I think so too" said Jasmine.

Alexis keep quiet listening to her friends' words, she also believed that Sakura wasn't a kind of person that deliberately provoke anyone, but... after the event in the bath house last night, she didn't know what to believe.

[It's because... I despised him]

Her words come to mind. Alexis shake her head, confusing her two friends.

"Sakura Isshiki... I really didn't get you" whisper her.

The Duel hasn't begun yet, but the audience seats almost full.

"Let's get this over with" told Sakura.

Not only that, it seems that the duel between Chazz and Sakura had gained attentions from all student presents.

"*COUGH* Now then, are the two of you ready?" asked him, before starting the duel.

"Yes, I'm ready" said Sakura with a blank expression, stiff as an ice.

"Just start already you old man!" told him furious.

Listening to Chazz's reply, Crowler face scowl and his expression become sour.

Crowler begin to counting down, "On moi mark! Three! Two! One!"

"My turn" Sakura draws a card, creating a beautiful arc.

"Hmm... not bad" told her after she's looking at the newly drawn card, then she continues, "I summon Lonefire Blossom in attack position"

Above the field appears plants with circular stems with fruit/flowers in the shape of round fireworks with a lit fuse.

Looking at her summoned monster, Chazz sneer, "I thought it'll be a powerful monster, but instead it was a salted fish"

Hearing his word, Alexis and her friends frowned.

The thick gray dust were blown off by the sudden wing and the countless fluttering cherry blossom petals that dance in the air.

Mindy's look at the sudden appearance of the flower petals, seems to remember something, "Alexis, this is..."

"Um, it's Talaya" said Jasmine.

Jasmine remembered the night of The Cross duel, that time she was awestruck by the beauty of Sakura's Princess Flower.

On Sakura's field, appears a beautiful Yamato Nadeshiko. Long and shining black hair, dress like high ranking Oiran, standing atop the beautiful giant Cherry Blossom flower.

Her charm and appearance make the audience astonished, especially the male.

"So beautiful..."

"In one turn she can summon a powerful monster, is she the same as us?"

Hearing his words, Sakura chuckled.

Chazz looked at his cards, the corners of his mouth bend upward.

Chazz put a card on his Duel Disk, "I activate The Spell Card Magic Mallet!"

Some of the audience were astonished, "Isn't that a rare card?" said one of them.

Chazz continues, "By shuffling this card, along with any cards I don't want in my hand, back into my deck and I draw that many cards"

"Huh, he's going to replace all his card?" asked one of the spectator.

Crowler narrowed his eyes.

[Magic mallet... that spell card allows you to replace any cards you don't want, and then draws another cards with the chance of getting the cards you want. Simply put, it's like a second chance at pachinko machine desu-no-ne]

Chazz still continues, "Not only that! The Magic mallet isn't one time use, so I-

"*Yawn* can you speed up a bit?" asked Sakura, as her eyelids drop like a tired maid, she continues, "Beside, what so great about it? It's just made you get rid of a bad hand"

"Tch! Damn you" whispered Chazz, as he's looking at the uninterested Sakura.

He then put another card to the Duel Disk's plate, "Come forth! V-Tiger Jet!"

A mechanical tiger with jet wings and booster appeared on the field, before landing, it's circling the arena like an airshow.

"Next! I activate continuous spell card Frontline Base!" shouted Chazz, as he put a card with an artwork of a black knight riding a black dragon.

"Frontline base's effect, Once per turn I can special summon 1 Level 4 UNION monster from my hand to the field! Now, appear W-Wing Catapult"

On Chazz's field appears another monster, well rather than a monster it's just a part of a jet plane.

"Huhu- hahahaha at this moment, V-Tiger Jet and W-Wing Catapult would fuse and combine to become a stronger form!"

Sakura raised her eyebrow a bit, "Fusion without using a fusion spell? It's... kinda interesting"

The mechanical tiger and Jet plane part, fly to the air and combine, with the result of the combination is kinda plain that it just the mechanical tiger mounted atop the part of jet plane.

"Appear! VW-Tiger Catapult!"shouted Chazz.

Sakura's look at the combined monster.

"Shocked, aren't you? But this isn't over yet! At this moment, activate VW-Tiger Catapult's effect!!"

"I discard one card from my hand, and then I change Talaya's position to defense position!" said Chazz, revv up.

Like being oppressed by an invisible gravity force, The standing beauty Talaya kneeled down.

Chazz snorted pridefully, looking at the pitiful figure of the flower princess. After that, Chazz didn't directly declare an attack, that's because there are two set cards on Sakura's back row.

Sakura who kinda knew what Chazz is thinking start goading him.

"Come on, are you're not attacking? Don't tell me you're afraid to attack me? ... For an Obelisk Blue student, you are more cowardice than The Slifer Student"

Hearing her words, Chazz's eyes start bulging and his sclera become redder, he also clenched his fists hard, but not so deep as his nails can dig out the flesh.

"Shut... shut your damn mouth!" shouted Chazz looking furiously at Sakura, "Fine! VW-Tiger Catapult, attack this damn weakling!!", ordered him, as the machine launch a bunch of missiles toward the kneeling Princess.

The corner of Sakura's mouth twitching, happy because she can goad him enough, "Trap Card open... Negate Attack"

When she opens it, all the missile the machine launched start exploding midway.

"Gah! You're just lucky" grunts Chazz, "Set a card, mu turn... end"

Sakura's turn, she draws a card so leisurely and didn't even bother to look up what she drew.

[Union monster... a monster that has an effect that allows it to equip itself to a monster as an Equip Spell Card or unequip itself to Special Summon itself to a Monster Zone.

Hmm... furthermore, the archetype that- um... Pass? Mass? Whatever, using an Xyz archetype that Seto Kaiba used in Battle City Tournament]

Said Sakura in her mind, as she's analyzing his monster.

[It's a strong monster, but... not strong enough to defeat Yuji. Hmm... I wonder if there's a combination with The XYZ series]

"My turn, I change Talaya's battle position to attack mode, and I end my turn" told her.

Sakura announced her end turn, but her announcement made the audience baffled.

"Huh? Why is she isn't attacking?" asked Jasmine.

"I... don't know, maybe this is her strategy to win" answered Alexis.

"But, isn't it better to attack? Chazz's monster attack is below her" said Mindy who also confused.

"Maybe it has something to do about his set card" answered Alexis again.

[Sakura Isshiki... what are you planning?]

Back to Chazz, his head lay down, the shadow obscured his face. He's clenching his fists and let it go repeatedly.

"Y- you! Are you looking down too much on me?!!" shouted him, but Sakura didn't reply anything to him and just humming waiting for her opponent's move.

"Kuh! Draw!!" Chazz draw, and quickly put a card to his Duel Disk's plate, "I summon X-Head Canon!"

On his field appears an upper body of humanoid mecha with two canon barrels mounted near the shoulders.

Another mecha appears, but this time in the form of a mechanical red dragon.

"Amazing! Chazz is really the rising king of our Obelisk Blue!" said one of the spectator.

"I pity her... Sakura Ishhiki, to think she ended up dueling that Princeton"

Listening to the spectator's comments, Chazz pride filled up like a gas tank, he folded his arms, and look down at Sakura, as he showed him his nose which is seemingly longer than usual.

"What do you think?!" asked Chazz.

"Hmm... I don't think much about it. I mean... its attack is the same as Talaya, and unlike you who wasted so many resources, I manage to bring her in one turn using a single card" said Sakura, looking at Chazz with empty eyes.

Chazz sneer, "Hmph! My turn isn't over yet, now I'm gonna show you the ultimate Combination! VW plus XYZ, combine into the ultimate union machine"

Two monsters start hovering and fly to the sky, a series of transformation and combinations occurred, resembling the combination of Power Ranger's zords into a single Powerful unit called Megazord.

"Brace yourself! VWXYZ- Dragon Catapult Canon!"

When the monster hit the field, majority of the boy cheered and screamed at Chazz, some of them even had glittering eyes looking at the newly combined monster. They were uttering something like Cool, Handsome, Megazord to the monster. Heck! Even a guy crying that he suddenly remembers their childhood TV show.

Unlike the boys, the girls are... well, just think of them, rather confused about it.

"Ha... boys" sighed Jasmine.

"Ha- haha..." laughed, Alexis awkwardly.

Sakura didn't faze at the new appearance of the mecha, rather she narrowed her eyes trying to gauge it.

The corners of his mouth bend upward, "If you want to apologize, say it now! I tell you one thing I'm Chazz are a gentleman, and I'll forgive you for your insolence before"

"..."

"Still didn't want to apologize? Fine. VWXYZ- Dragon Catapult Canon's effect activate! Once per turn, I can banish one card my opponent controls!"

The mecha's canon barrels moves, lock on toward Talaya, "Go! Ultimate Destruction!!", The mecha then fire a photon blast from the barrels, destroying Talaya, and creating a shockwave strong enough to make a furious wind.

Chazz laughs, feeling good destroying Sakura's monster, "Do you see?! This is my power!!! Hahahahahahahaha~"

Looking at the arrogant Chazz, Crowler's face become rather sour, [That's technically my cards Signore Princeton]

Sakura, tapping her finger, seems to think about the mecha's effect.

[Removing card from play... such a strong effect, but-] Sakura then lick her lips, her eyes reflect a strong excitement, [This is good for his snack]

Chazz then points his finger toward Sakura, ordering his monster like a frontline commander, "Go forth! Don't give her any mercy!"

The canon barrels moves, now locking on to Sakura, countless light gather and absorbed toward the inside of the barrels, recharging energy to blast off the silver-white hair girl in front of it.

SNAP!

Sakura snap her finger, "Reverse card, open", the set card reveals itself. From it, multiple golden chains launches toward the mecha, and binding him like a spider cocoon.

"What?!" Chazz surprised looking at his bounded mecha.

Like a responsible duelist Sakura begin explaining his trap card's effect.

Fiendish Chain's effect: Activate this card by targeting 1 Effect Monster on the field; negate the effects of that face-up monster while it is on the field, also that face-up monster cannot attack. When it is destroyed, destroy this card.

Chazz grit his teeth, angered by the trap. Looking at his frustrated expression, Sakura let out a chuckle.

"What's so funny?!" shouted Chazz.

"Do you know why I didn't destroy your monster before?" asked Sakura, kinda mocking him.

"..." Chazz silent, he begins to think the answer, but before he came to the answer, Sakura start explaining.

"I just curious... I wonder if there is a VWXYZ combination, and I was right" told her.

"You...", Chazz bit his lip, "Kuh! I end my turn. You're lucky to survive this time, but-"

"There's no next time" said Sakura.

"Huh?" Chazz confused.

"There won't be next time for you" told Sakura with confidence, "Draw!" Sakura draws a new card, her eyes widened, it seems the formula for success already in her hands.

Sakura clap her hands, "Chest Princeton"

"It's Chazz! Chazz Princeton!!"

She continues, "Chazz Princeton, as a thank for showing me the VWXYZ combination, let me show you... what a true power is!"

The moment, Sakura finished her words. Chazz, Alexis, Jasmin, Mindy, and Crowler felt a sudden chill running through their spine.

The sensation is like you are naked and slowly being freeze by an anonymous, while your back is still bleeding by the attack.

"I summon Evil Thorn in attack position!", a gloomy looking plant summoned to Sakura's field.

She continues, "Evil Thorn's effect, I can tribute this monster and inflict 300 damages to my opponent, and if I do this I can special summon up to two Evil Thorn from my deck to the field"

The plant explode, some of its black needles hitting Chazz, "Tch! This just a scratch"

"For now" refute her.

"Alexis... this combo, is she going to bring out that dragon?" asked Jasmine.

Alexis nod, "Yes... probably so!"

Sakura then put a card to the Duel Disk's plate, on her field, appears a card with Polymerization at it name, "I fuse two Evil Thorn on the field"

"Fusion?" confused Chazz.

Sakura's smile then changed into a grin, her round pupils contracted, resembling that of a snake.

A whirlpool of blue and green energies appears behind her, sucking the two flower.

She started to chanting, "O' Dragon born from one of the greatest sin of humanity" chanted her, as she clutch her chest.

"With the power of my beautiful flowers and its lovely fragrance, be reborn into this world!" chants her, as she raised her arm toward the sky like a saint praying for salvation.

"Come! My Ace with his venomous fangs"

From the whirlpool, appears a violent dragon with orbs embedded in his body. When he appears, he roars so loudly, creating a blasting wind.

"Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!!"

Not only that, once per turn, I can target one level five or more my opponent's special summoned monster, and gains its name, and effect"

The audience were astonished hearing her explanations about the dragon.

The Dragon roars, he then pierced the mecha's chest with his long and sharp tail.

The mecha destroyed, explodes to smithereens.

Now there isn't any cards on Chazz's field, and hand.

Sakura sigh, "In the end... I was right, she then looks toward Chazz, "You are a weakling, I really didn't know what's so good about you... it seems Yuji was wrong to idolize a person like you"

Chazz silent, he bites his lips, a taste of iron enters his taste bud.

"Sayonara... that was a waste of time"

The dragon roared, the orbs etched on the dragon's body begin to glow one after another.

He floats into the air, opens his wings that, resembling the mouth of the Venus flytrap.

Branches of wicked energy manifested out of his wings, bright orbs contained within each one. The energy surge forward, creating a powerful blast, obliterates everything in its path.

The burst of energy hit him directly with very powerful force, blowing him into the air, then Chazz fell roughly to the ground like he was hit by a truck.
