Chapter 11
So, first, before the chapter, I just want to say thank you for the support I've gotten. The comments have been really fun to read and see what people think about my story. I do want to try and improve so I can write the best stories I can.
——
Izuku POV
This was nice. Just standing here, hugging my sister with the crowd cheering in the background. I looked over and saw Stella had a tear in her eye. Looking over to All Might, I saw Midnight in front of him, giving him a stern look.
She turned back to the crowd. "That's this years sports festival, everyone! Thank you for coming out! And…"
"Plus Ultra!" The crowd shouted.

Everyone was back in the dorms and Mina decided we should throw a party. Most everyone were freaking out about knowing who I really was. Izumi hadn't let me go since I revealed myself and I didn't blame her. I knew how much she missed me so I was happy to let her.
I looked around the common room and noticed a certain person missing from the party. I wanted to fix this. "Zumi, let's head upstairs for a minute." She nodded and we walked upstairs only to stop at a door.
Izumi had an uncertain look on her face. "Are you sure about this, Izuku?"
"Yeah. This is something that needs to happen." I knocked on the door and saw Katsumi open the door.
"Yea-" she stopped when she saw me. "I-Izuku. Uh, wh-what did you w-want?"
"Hey Katsumi, I just wanted to know why you aren't downstairs with everyone else partying."
She looked away, unable to look at me. "I-I, uh. I don't really deserve to be down there."
"Do you mind if we come in?" I asked, pointing to her room. She hesitated but nodded, opening the door for us. I walked in and sat at her desk and Izumi let me go and sat on the floor next to me.
Katsumi came over and sat on her bed. "S-so?"
"Katsumi, you shouldn't distance yourself for what you did in the past. You made a mistake."
"But…"
"No. You messed up and made a mistake, it happens. You and I were close friends when we were kids. I know that you feel like you don't deserve any forgiveness but you know what?"
"Wh-what?" Katsumi had a shaky voice and shrinked away, thinking that I was going to yell at her.
"I forgive you. You caused me untold pain and heartache but I forgive you, Katsumi." Katsumi looked at me for a second and began to tear up. "If you'd like, I would love to try and reform a friendship with you and Shoka. Even Katsuki and Shoto if they'd want."
Katsumi looked down. "Why?" She asked in a shaky voice.
"Because everyone deserves a second chance. I can see that you regret the choice you made. It's plain as day." I stood up and spread my arms. "So?"
She looked at me for a second as tears began to run down her cheeks then jumped into my arms as she fully began to cry. "Izuku, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
I pat her back. "I know. It's okay now." Izumi got up and hugged the both of us as Katsumi continued to say that she was sorry. I looked at Izumi and she had a small smile on her face. I was happy for her.

Itsuka POV
After the sports festival, Todoroki locked herself in her room. I was worried for her and went up with some hot soba, her favorite. When I knocked on her door, she took longer to open up her door than usual. "Hey Todoroki, I got worried about you so I made your favorite food."
She took the food from me with a quiet thank you and let me in. We sat at a small table she had and she began to eat.
"So what's wrong, Todoroki?"
She looked down. "I… I don't know what to do."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean about Izuku. We were childhood friends and were really close but… I…" tears began to fall from her face.
I got up and moved over next to her and held her. "Hey, it's okay. What happened?"
"I… I hurt him. When we learned he was quirkless, Katsuki told us that if he'd die if he became a hero. He said we needed to use our quirks on him to scare him to stop. I didn't want to but I was so scared and stupid that I agreed. After he left, I realized how dumb of an idea it was and…" she held a hand over her burned eye. "I didn't want to be a hero anymore. My father told me I had to be and…"
"Hey, it's okay. You don't need to tell me the rest. So what's got you locked up?"
"Izuku. Even after what I did to him, he helped me. He saved me from myself. He treated me like a friend despite what I did. I… I don't know why he would ever help me." She looked down. "You probably think I'm a monster."
"Todoroki, no. You're not a monster and this Izuku doesn't seem to think so either. Here, why don't we go over to the 1-A dorms and talk to him? What's the worst that can happen?"
"He stabs me with his magic sword." I just stared at Todoroki and grabbed her arm as I dragged her out the door.

Izuku POV
I was back in the common room with everyone and Katsumi was sitting next to me trying to talk with some of the others. Izumi was there helping her the whole way. I was sitting on the couch, relaxing. I had my head back, eyes closed and a smile on my face, content with where I was.
As I was sitting there, the intercom sounded. "Would Izuku Yagi please report to principal Nezu's office please."
I got up and walked out the door and made my way towards the school. On my way, I saw Itsuka Kendo and Shoka coming over. I stopped as they reached me. "Yagi, I need to talk to you."
"I can see that. I need to head to the principal's office so could you two wait for me in my dorm? I'll try to get back as fast as I can."
"Are you sure they'll be okay with that?" Itsuka asked.
"Yeah, as long as you don't act like that Monoma guy then it'll be fine. Though, Iida might tell you to leave so just ignore him." She nods and leaves with a nervous looking Shoka. 'I'll talk to her when I get back.'
I made my way to principal Nezu's office and saw the Yagi's. "Ah, Izuku, please come in and have a seat. Tea?"
"Yes sir, thank you. So what is this about?"
Nezu handed me my tea and I took a sip. "Mr and Mrs Yagi want to talk to you about something."
"Izuku, your going to tell me about your involvement with someone." Mr Yagi had a serious look.
"If your talking about All for One, then your assumption is incorrect."
"Don't lie to me! I know that he gave you a quirk!"
Mrs Yagi put her hand on his shoulder. "Izuku, please, tell us and we promise we won't be mad. We just want you to be safe and happy."
"Don't tell me your lies. I've spent eight years in your house and half of that was full of neglect and abuse. You, Inko, had forgotten to take care of me. And you, Toshinori, had beaten me almost every day. No explanation, no apology, just demands. All Might, how would your master, Nana Shimora, feel about you having done this after she saved you from the same thing?"
He flinched at my question. "You know nothing about her!"
"I know she was the previous owner of One for All, the quirk you gave to Katsuki. She was a kind woman and a caring mother. She took a chance on a weak and scared boy who only wanted to help people and make them feel safe with just his presence. I know she gave her life in the fight against All for One to keep you safe from him. She thought of you as a son, loved you like one. And you failed her, Toshinori."
He looked down and thought about what I said. Inko held her husband's hand. "Izuku, what do you mean neglect and abuse?"
"I mean that ever since that doctors appointment, you haven't so much as looked my way. You never made me dinner, never comforted me when I needed it, never believed in my dream. You both told Izumi that I couldn't be a hero and it's all something I can't forgive easily. It'll take time and effort to heal something like this."
No one POV
Inko looked down, trying to remember a time after the appointment and came up empty. She couldn't remember doing anything with her son. She kept looking but still couldn't remember anything. "I…"
Izuku, finished with his tea, sighed before standing up. "Don't worry about it. Principal Nezu, sir, is there anything else you need?"
"Yes, actually. As of today, you are allowed to come and go from UA grounds between seven in the morning and nine at night."
Izuku nodded. "Thank you sir." He left and made his way towards his dorm. When he arrived, he saw most everyone in the common room, still having the party. He saw Shoka and Itsuka over on the couch next to Izumi, who was sitting on another couch across from them, talking.
When he got close, he could hear what Izumi was saying. "…and then he fell into the mud. And not just a small puddle but a huge one. All of his clothes were covered. Izuku was upset about it but Izuku being Izuku, he used it as an opportunity to train. He had me use my quirk to try and pull the mud off but not the clothes. It took a while to do but eventually, I got all the mud off his clothes and, in his excitement for me, began jumping around and fell into the mud again."
The group began laughing and even Shoka let out a small laugh and smiled a bit before it dropped and she looked down. Izuku walked over and sat down next to Izumi. "Izumi did need a lot of help with her quirk."
"Hey, I wasn't that bad with it!"
"Says the girl who almost destroyed her whole room trying to grab her hero journal." Izuku had a sly smirk as Izumi pouted.
"Hey, I was still new at it, meanie!" Izuku began laughing at his sister and slowly she began to laugh with him. Itsuka smiled at the twins and Shoka even began to smile at them as well, but just a small one.
