Yay! Thanks to all who reviewed! As promised, here is a follow-up to Distrust. Here's a bribe: if I get five reviews, I'll do a story were The Doctor tells Tom that he was impersonating B'Lanna. Or something similar. Either way, Tom will find out that he kissed The Doc! Is that a good enough bribe?

Disbelief floods my mind. You didn't. You couldn't have. I reopen my eyes and see Chakotay's half-disbelieving, half sympathetic face. And I know. You have just given yourself away. You, in my voice, using my body (technically) have just done something that I never do. No, three somethings. You have given up, you didn't talk to Chakotay about it, and you have admitted true weakness. That is what will bring you down. Chakotay knows that I would never say something like that. That's like telling him that . . . I love him. Telling him that constitutes as weakness, because an enemy could come in, take you by gunpoint, threaten to shoot, and I would be putty in their hands. WAIT! When did I become like that? When did I ever start thinking like some damn admiral? I know what my weakness is! It's that I've never admitted any! Damn! I hate this! I choose this moment to come to my senses! If this had happened even a moth ago, I could still have him! But now-he's been seeing Seven. I heard them, a week ago, in the Mess Hall, discussing going on a date! If he's actually asking her out, that means that he's serious. Damn. Thank you, Doctor. Thank you very much, for giving me a life-changing realization after I should have made it. Thank you very much. Wait! I don't remember that story. Oh, Chakotay's figured it out! Very good! Oh, damn! A sedative! Oh well. I shouldn't care anyway. At least I will get my revenge. Tom would be very interested to learn just how 'B'Lanna' learned all those medical terms.

Well? How did you like it? Remember, five reviews and you will get to read Janeway's revenge.
